Chapter 7 Unripe for the Picking
Chapter 7 Unripe for the Picking
Waiting for something always seems to make it take its sweet time. And although working with Nick kept me happy, I couldn't help letting out a huff every so often. So the day passed like molasses, all the while Nick telling me that while what I did was acceptable in my world, it wasn't so in his.
Finally he dropped the subject as we exited the daycare. I smiled and greeted everyone who greeted us just as I had a few hours ago, barely feeling their occasional hateful gazes with Nick at my side. I felt completely safe, even when I overheard two men talking about how anthros were no good with my big ears. At one time, I thought I smelled something familiar in the air, but couldn't place whose scent it was. It wasn't Leah's scent, she smelt something like roses mixed with Cheri, but this scent smelt like a filthy man...
"We're here." Nick said. What we arrived at was a small shop with a large glass dome next to it with various plants growing in it. I wanted to look closer at the intriguing smelling flowers, but Nick pulled me inside the house.
A bell tinkled overhead when we entered, the echo resounding between the rows of plants glowing under the harsh lights. Other, picked fruits were on display along the walls. Nick led me along the fruits on display, looking at signs that said "Cheri" or "Pecha" on them. I wasn't the best reader, but I could manage to figure out what each sign said with a moment or two to think. I didn't want to lower Nick's expectations much more than I already had that day, so I pretended I wasn't interested.
Unfortunately that went about as well as everything else seemed to go for me.
"Can you read?" Nick asked.
"A little." I said, not sure whether to take his question as an insult or feel like he cared about me.
"Really? Where'd you learn?" he asked as we moved down the rows.
"My Mom taught me."
"You're Mom must be smart."
"She was." I said gloomily.
Nick paused, hearing how sad I sounded. "What happened to her?"
"She was killed by Pokémon hunters." I said, not wanting to go into the specifics.
"I'm sorry."
"It wasn't you're fault. Besides, my mother always said that everything that has a beginning must come to an end." I replied, painful memories welling in my head.
There was an awkward pause between us before he broke the ice. "So, how creeped out were you about Leah's... secret? Tell me again."
The store might've been empty but I still whispered. "Extremely."
"Leah must trust you a lot. I wonder if she's planning to steal you from me." He was joking, believe me I could tell, but he did raise some questions in my head. Earlier I hadn't really thought about the possibility of Leah liking me as more than a friend. I dismissed the idea nervously, hoping that it would stay an idea.
"Found it!!" Nick finally exclaimed, bringing forth a large berry.
"Babiri?"
"Of course." Nick smiled, kissing my nose. I smiled widely, thinking that my wait would finally pay off.
"Let's hurry." I ordered, excited. I nearly pulled his arm off as I dragged him to the counter.
"Hold on Trinity." Nick said, laughing at my eagerness. He pried my fingers off of his arm, reassuring me that we'd hurry he went back to the Babiris and actually picked out a few. I blushed. "These are kind of important."
"Yeah, I can't believe you forgot." I teased a little, my smile not losing any ground on my face.
"Yeah, I'm so forgetful." Nick said sarcastically. We went back to the counter where there was still no sign of a clerk. Probably a good opportunity if either Nick or I had the intention of not paying. Nick tapped the metal dome on the desk that looks nothing like a bell, and a high pitched ding emanated from it.
"I'll be right there!" a voice shouted from somewhere outside the door behind the counter. It was a minute or two before a man wearing dirt-smudged coveralls appeared. The first thing I thought was that humans must have been desperate for clothing ideas.
"Five Babiri berries please." Nick laid out the berries he took.
"Sure." He said as he added the prices on the cash register. "Those just came in today though, so they're unripe. They're as hard as a rock, and you'll break a tooth if you bite into one. they'll probably ripen in a couple days though."
I suppressed a groan as Nick traded green paper for useless stones. The clerk stuffed them into a plastic bag and handed it to Nick, telling him to come back soon.
"You okay, Trinity?" Nick asked, noticing my attitude shifted to the other side of the spectrum. I felt his concern and a slight disappointment.
"Yeah. Those berries better ripen quickly." I sighed.
When we got back at the mansion, Melly was out the door in an instant. "Nicky! Nicky! Nicky!" she cried as she jumped into a hug with Nick. "Want to play now?" She asked hopefully.
"Sorry squirt, but not right now. Is Tina in?" Nick replied.
Melly gave a whimper of disappointment. "Yeah. She's in the kitchen."
"Thanks." Nick nuzzled her then set her down. I watched her pout for a moment before following Nick inside.
Nick led me to the dining room. I was getting tired of being led around, but I knew that I'd be lost without guidance.
For now at least.
We went through the double doors at the back of the room. While the dining room might have been special, the kitchen wasn't, not counting the sophisticated-looking thingies that I still don't understand. Of course I didn't know what a normal kitchen looked like, and anything shiny caught my eye back then.
A sliding door at the back of the kitchen showed rows of berry trees, way too many to all be for this one kitchen. Tina was just outside it, arguing with Holly about something. My ears picked up "screw you" from Tina's mouth and "you'd like to" from Holly's.
Nick whistled and they stopped their fighting with a very hateful glare. Tina turned around after shutting the sliding door and lost her scowl for us. She smiled weakly.
"What can I get for you two?" she asked.
"We got the Babiri Berries, but they're not ripe. I don't really feel like buying berries every week so could you plant some in the garden?" Nick replied.
She shrugged, taking a berry that Nick handed to her. We then exited, counting on her to do the rest.
"What was that fighting about?" I asked.
"Holly and Tina are always fighting over something." He explained. "We're all like a family, and families fight sometimes."
I didn't like fighting all that much. Or pain. Or being yelled at. Fighting is just a hybrid of those. "So what are we going to do now?"
"We," he kissed me on the nose, "Are going to take a shower." He smiled. "Because we really stink."
My heart fluttered when he closed the door of the bathroom behind me. He went nervously to the large shower stall that looked like it had a floor and walls made out of polished stone and turned it on. As it heated up he turned back to me, surprised at my eager look. "Don't keep me waiting." I smiled as the sound of rain pelting the ground filled the room. This would be the first time I'd see him naked. I can imagine how I looked; smiling with my ears perked up, tail wagging slightly.
He blushed as I grabbed the hem of his shirt, tugging at it slightly. I pulled it up and he raised his arms so I could pull it off. He had slight build, and I admired him a bit.
He couldn't help but smile at me. "Someone's a bit happy." I looked at him strange when he stepped away and pointed between my legs. My fur was wet. I smiled and pointed out that he was hard.
I kneeled on the ground in front of him and undid the button on his pants, pulling down both his pants and boxers. I was greeted by an erect penis. My mind went back to when I was captured for a moment and I lost a little gusto.
"What's wrong?" Nick, went down and looked me in the eye.
"Nothing." I replied shaking my head a little as I pushed the bad feelings away. "just a bad feeling."
"From when you were captured?"
I nodded, and regained my impish smile. "But let's not worry about that for now." I tapped his penis. He shuddered at my sudden movement, never feeling anyone else's hand on his most intimate parts.
"Trinity, you haven't eaten a-"
"We're not having sex." I interrupted. "We're only going to have a little fun." I told him. I peered around him to check on the shower. Steam rolled out from the stall and hovered to the ceiling. He noted what I was looking at and took my hand.
"We should get in now." He stated.
I looked at him seductively, my hand touching his thigh lightly. "We're wasting time then."
"Okay, then you go in first."
"Why?"
"Because I need you to tell me whether it's the right temp' or not."
I spit my tongue out at him playfully then reached my hand into the falling water. I jumped a little. I had never experienced hot water before. Even in captivity, I had only been forcefully washed with cold water. I reached back in cautiously, my fur on my arm quickly becoming soaked with water. I stepped in fully, enjoying the feeling of a warm Teddiursa hug that the water gave me. I looked to Nick and could tell he was burning with lust for my body and love for my soul. I gave him a look that said 'come and get it.'
Nick stepped in a bit less religiously than I did, and he kept his eyes focused on me. I kissed him, wanting his taste on my tongue. He returned the kiss, not minding my soaked body against his. Sliding my tongue into his mouth, I pushed him to become more passionate. He smiled best he could and returned the favor. Our tongues danced beautifully with a choreography that couldn't be practiced. I pulled him close to me, holding him tight against me, and his hands slid to my hips and pulled me closer. His hardon hotdogged my lower lips pleasurably.
"I wish that we could have sex now." I whimpered, breaking the kiss early. My ears drooped.
"Soon enough, Little Eevee." He smiled, sliding his hands behind my back and down to where my tail separated from the rest of my body. He pet the fur there for a moment before running one of his hands down the appendage. "What's it like to have a tail?" He asked suddenly.
"Why do you ask?" I smiled, my tail twitching in his grasp.
"I just wonder." He replied.
I thought a moment, but I could no more answer that question than he could if I asked him what it was like without one. I shrugged and kissed him again, happy that he was the one asking the questions this time.
"We should probably clean ourselves before we get too comfortable." Nick said, spoiling my fun a little bit. He withdrew his arms from me and I from him, though a bit more reluctantly. He grabbed a bottle of soap off of a little lip on the shower wall that I hadn't noticed before. He opened it and sprayed some on his hand. He looked at me though and sprayed a bit more on.
"This is called shampoo." He told me. "You're going to use it on your fur until I can get some pet soap."
Although to me shampoo sounded a lot different than it does to you, I felt a little insulted. "Are you calling me your pet?" I asked, half serious half joking.
"No, but this stuff was meant for human hair, not an entire anthro." He answered, rubbing his hands together.
I suddenly got what he meant. He approached me and told me to turn around. I did, though I twisted my neck to see what he was doing. He put his soapy hands onto my back and began rubbing it into my fur. I murred a bit as he spread the soap all over my back.
"Are you going to brush me, too?" I asked jokingly.
"If you promise me that you can control yourself until the Babiri's are ripe."
"I promise." I turned around. "But not in the shower." I leaned in and kissed him, my paw travelling south until I brushed his hard member. His body jerked away in surprise.
"C'mon Nicky, pwease?" I asked, adding the sweetest puppy eyes I could make.
After half an hour of flirting, washing, and screwing around, Nick and I emerged from the shower with smiles on our faces while laughing. He handed me a towel and instructed me to start drying myself. Of course, since I have a lot of fur, I don't dry very quickly after a shower. After a full minute of drying myself, I was still sopping wet and Nick had already put his clothing on. Not wanting to drip water all over the house, I tried drying myself faster, but it didn't seem to work.
He suggested that I use the hair dryer and I don't even want to write what went wrong with that. In the end, I just used a towel till my fur was only damp. After that, Nick brushed my fur and I was ready to go.
Almost exactly when we got out I smacked straight into a red, white, and blue face and I was seeing stars. I recoiled in pain, almost striking Leah, who was in just as much pain as I was in. she held her nose where my forehead had obviously connected with the floating anthro.
"Sorry Leah." I said, giving her a weak smile. I couldn't help but think of that morning. "You shouldn't float right in front of doors like that."
"Well, I was going to surprise you two," She giggled, completely forgetting what happened, "But I think that I was the one surprised."
Nick laughed a bit. "You two are like sisters."
"We even have matching clothes." Leah giggled at her bad joke.
"But it looks better on me." I responded.
"Na-ah."
"Yes it does."
"I look way cuter than you do."
"No you don't."
"Are you kidding? Look at me. Boys almost literally drool over me, too bad that I don't want to attract boys."
"Well, let's let Nick decide then." We both turned to Nick. "Nick, tell Leah, that I am so prettier than she is."
"Uh." Nick squeaked. It figures. The minute you ask a boy a question like that, they freeze up.
"That's hardly fair asking your boyfriend to choose between us." Leah said.
Of course we were just playing, but Instead of listening to Leah anymore, I decided that I do something long overdue. "You know what, I'm going to go for a walk."
"Do you want me to come with you?" Nick asked. I dearly wanted him to come with, but I knew that if I let him, I'd feel too constricted. I'd feel like he was the one that should be leading.
"I really have got to burn off energy, and..." I searched for the right words to tell him that he'd just hold me back.
"I get it." Nick saved me the trouble. "Just don't go outside the fence, okay?"
"I promise." I smiled wide and headed for the front door. Leah started doing that fake pouting that she does when she wants attention.
Can I come with? Leah asked me. she sounded almost tentative as if she was testing to see if the ice was thick enough.
I'd prefer it if you didn't. I responded. The ice wasn't thick enough yet.
After I stepped out the front door, I felt like I was free again. I took a few steps out, closing my eyes so I could once again feel nature. I breathed deeply through my nose, inhaling every scent in the garden, tasting the air. Yes, it would rain tonight. I herd every tiny sound around me. I felt like I was home. I opened my eyes and turned to the right, eyeing the vast expanse of grass and hedges as my new playground.
Without warning, I suddenly began sprinting across the grass, outrunning the fastest of humans. Each time my padded feet touched the ground, I felt stress slip away. As I approached a low hedge, I made my decision, jumping over it instead of going around. It occurred to me that this was the first time in over a month that I had ever really let go and just burned my energy away.
I felt like I was finally my own master again. Although Nick had told me that I was no longer his property days ago, I never fully believed him until that moment.
I ran through the garden and around the house, zooming past objects that I classified only as a threat or a friend. Every time my foot touched the ground I felt the rush of air move over my damp fur. I felt my heart pumping quickly, my lungs burning slightly. Where all of my stamina came from was a mystery to me. I was always stronger than everyone else around me.
I ran past the garden's patio where a fountain stood in the middle of a tiled floor. Crystal-clear water rained down from the elaborate statue into a small pool. I passed it without a second glance, running into the orchard that was behind the mansion. Bird Pokémon scattered at the sight of me. I had a brief urge to catch one, but as it faded quickly.
Being back in the forest was something entirely different to me than being in the garden. I was suddenly struck with a case of home sickness, and I slowed down, thinking of how much I'd love to be back at home...
"Shut up." I panted, thinking out loud. "I am home."
I leaned against a tree, enjoying the bark's texture on my furry back. Being naked all the time feels really good... just saying.
I closed my eyes. Somehow my thoughts went back to Leah. I was still trying to wrap my mind around how that cute, mischievous Latias anthro could turn to girls for her needs. Sure she tended to act weird, but I still found it hard to believe. Every time I was around her, the thought was always in the back of my mind. Still, I couldn't come up with how I felt about it. Disturbed? Disgusted? I wished I could feel indifferent. I wanted to feel the same way that I did when first met her.Chapter End Notes:uhg, I don't want to hear it, I know okay. I've been gone a long time and blah blah blah. listen, I've been going through some things and would rather you guys not comment on it.
P.s. I have some comments telling me that I need a disclaimer. I hate putting in disclaimers. so I will not be telling all of you that I do not own pokemon except for the original characters made in this story by my sick and twisted imagination. I will also not add that I want all of you to shower me with good reviews to spur me into making my next chapter faster.
But I won't tell you those things. even if they are true.
See you (hopefully)soon
