Story Notes:
The journey will go from Kanto to Johto, to Hoenn, to Sinnoh. Main Characters
Alex: Born in the Sinnoh region in Solaceon Town. Alex is the eldest son of Scott and Kris. When he was a little boy, he lost someone very dear to him, a girl named Diana. The two of them were very close and she died saving him from a Seviper. That day left him with a deep fear of Seviper and left a deep wound in his heart. But one month later, he meets a Ralts named Melody. She too is going through a very hard time, the death of her mother. That night, Alex has a very frightening nightmare, which turns out to actually be Melody's memories of what happened with her and her mother. Little did either of them realize that their meeting forged a bond between their minds... Alex promises to take care of her and the two have been friends ever since
When the day of his tenth birthday arrived, Alex set off on his journey to become a pokemon trainer and to achieve the goal that lives within all trainers'... to become a pokemon master. As a trainer, Alex cares about his pokemon, seeing them more like his friends, like a part of his family than simply as pets.
Alex is a determined individual, he doesn't back down from a challenge or from doing what he thinks is right. He has a strong and compassionate heart and will do what it takes to protect his friends

Melody: Born in the forests of the Hoenn region. She lived with her mother but went through a very tragic event when she was very young. Melody's mother died saving her from a Seviper. Melody was injured in the attack and her mother soon passed away from her injuries. Hurt and alone, she didn't think she would live to see another day, but all that changed when a young boy found her. Melody was scared and didn't know if she could trust him, but as he carried her to safety, she felt safe in his arms. That night after Alex saw her memories of her mother, Melody finds out that both of them went through nearly the same trials and that their minds have become linked through a psychic bond
Melody is very kind and caring about others. She is especially close with Alex, her trainer and also her dearest friend. The two of them have become practically inseparable, spending more time with each other than anyone else. Melody worries about him sometimes... she knows that he makes mistakes and sometimes gets in over his head, but she also knows that he's always trying his best to succeed.

Side note: I'm having her and her evolutionary line develop at about the same rate as humans. Melody and Alex are about the same age... they were both 6 when they first met

They spend some time playing near his home and that night he talks her into spending the night at his house. However, a thunderstorm blows through and she wakes up to find Alex feeling scared. Diana was an only child and always wanted to have a little brother or sister and she sees that he kinda needs someone like a big brother or sister right now. She comforts him and offers to be his big sister. After that night, they develop a close bond, forming a 'big sister little brother' relationship. A kind, caring, and warm hearted person, Diana cared about Alex and everyone else she met. She quickly became loved by the whole town. Her family and Alex's became friends and the two were always seen together.
But one day, not long after she had turned 16, she and Alex got separated while playing in the woods near the town. Diana found Alex being attacked by a Seviper, she leapt in front of him and was stabbed through her midsection by the Fang Snake's blade tail. A horrified Alex crawled over to her and asked her why she did that... she simply smiled and said "It's a big sister's job to protect her little brother", and she passed away soon afterwards. Her death left a big impact on her family and on Alex as well.

Ben: Born in Viridian City. Ben's parents are pokemon breeder and his grandparents own a restaurant in Hoenn. Ben studies to become a top breeder like his parents and strives to learn everything he can about the many different species of pokemon that inhabit the world they live in...
One of his favorite pass times and stress relievers in cooking, a skill he picked up from his grandparents.
A very caring individual, Ben has a very warm presence to him... a warmth you can see in his eyes and in his smile. He's someone you could almost immediately warm up to. No matter what happens, he's always smiling

Ashley: Born in Goldenrod City. When she was a little girl, she found an Eevee in an alley. Ashley took her home and the two have been friends ever since. Ashley is an athletic and competitive person; she's not one to give up without a fight. Strong willed and determined, she's more than willing to show the boys just what she can do.
Ashley's one to speak her mind and stand up for her friends... Ashley is very tomboyish, both in her appearance and in her personality... she's not really very 'girly' (but, she has her moments)

He can be serious and responsible when he wants to be... but for the most part, he's your typical funny, silly, sarcastic, and pervy uncle... however that does tend to get him in trouble with Kris... and makes her prone to smack him upside his head and/or throw things at him (you know, typical brother sister stuff)

Work has been getting really busy with the holiday season, we're currently preparing to move and house hunting, and my little brother has been having a lot of issues lately (we've actually had to call the cops twice). He's been honestly losing his mind and have complete mental breakdown, he's been violent, he's been hurting himself and he's tried to kill himself at least three times (twice he's held a knife to his throat and he tried to overdose on his medicine in front of my sister)
So yeah, things have been really crazy down here... (Fortunately things have settled down and things are starting to get back to normal... and we found a new house, we move in February)
I'm gonna try and have a few chapters completed and posted up as soon as possible (hopefully before the end of the month). I just haven't been able to focus lately and all that's been going through my mind story wise is for later bits... I mean I've completed five or six later chapters and have several others that are about half done (plus about three or four more just sitting around in my head)
I'm not going to let this story die and I want people to enjoy reading it. Again, I'm sorry I haven't done anything lately, but I want you all to know I haven't disappeared
