04 - An Escort
Chu woke up at the crack of dawn, with the pale morning sunlight beaming down on his face. Wincing as the sudden brightness that followed upon opening his eyes, he sat up in bed, yawning loudly. Throwing his arms in the air, a few - probably unhealthy - pops emanated from his lower back, and then he went about his morning routine of popping every knuckle he had. He reached for the floor from atop the hotel bed, groped about for a bit, and picked his shirt up, slipping it on over his head. He yawned again as he slipped out of the covers and stood up, conveniently slipping his feet into the legholes of his crumpled-up boxers as he always had, and grunted as he reached down to pull them up. Scratching the side of his head, he looked out of the second-storey window at early-morning Viridian City. If he hadn't been so groggy, he might have been awestruck at how huge the metropolis was, having never been outside of the relatively puny Pallet. He survey the area to the south; the main road into town upon which he arrived with Eevee; the PokéMart, not even opened yet; the PokéCentre in ruins...
Chu blinked and rubbed his eyes, glancing back at the sight he had just seen. As the sleep began to rapidly retreat from the borders of his vision, his heart skipped a beat, realizing that this wasn't a trick of the eye. Eevee! He ran towards the door, grabbing his backpack as he went. Throwing the portal open, he booted it through the threshold...
And smack into Chenelle.
He rebounded back into the entrance to his room, landing hard on his rear. "Ow! Why don't you watch where you're going?!" He hollered frustratedly, heedless of the other sleeping patrons, or his decency for that matter. He rubbed at his backside, not yet looking at the obstacle that had knocked him back.
Chenelle had only been shoved back a step, narrowly missing her Charmander's tail. She glared back at him, bending over to pick up the hotel room key that she had dropped from Chu's clumsiness. "Yeah? Well try letting people know the next time you decide to careen into them like a drunken Tauros!"
Chu's head snapped up to look at her. "It's you! What the heck are you doing here?!"
Chenelle rolled her eyes in irritation. "This is a hotel, dummy. What do you think I was doing? Building a spaceship??"
Chu blinked at the odd statement, and then stood up, his mind still set on his current dilemma. "Look, I'd love to stand around and stare at your boobs, but I've got to go check on my Eevee!"
Chenelle's eyes back even more forbidding, and she backhanded Chu so hard that he was forced back onto the floor, a bit of blood trickling from the side of his mouth. Falling on his side with a thud, he was taken completely by surprise, and was unaware of his Freudian slip. He say up and rubbed at his cheek, extending his other hand outward, palm up, as he shook his head in disbelief. "...You're crazy, you know that?! Just piss off! The Pokémon Centre is gone!!!"
Chenelle was taken aback, no longer concerned with the male's subconscious perversion. "..What do you mean, 'gone'?" But Chu was already running down the hallway.
"Chuuu!" she called. He sighed. Probably gonna mock me for letting Eevee get hurt in the first place... "You might wanna put on pants...?"
Chu and Chenelle both approached the massive pile of rubble that was the Viridian City PokéCentre not too many hours ago. The place was cordoned of with police tape, and a squadron of Growlithe and police officers were patrolling the area. Chu looked around frantically for the nurse he was talking to the night before. After running about crazily for a few moments, he spotted her around the opposite side of the rubble. She was being interviewed by some journalists, and the van was that of the PokéNetwork news team.
"Nurse Joy, what did the perpetrators look like?" A proper-looking woman with short-cropped, brown hair shoved a microphone in the nurse's face.
Nurse Joy winced, obviously not liking all the attention. "W-well... it's hard to say... I didn't have much time to get a good look at them..."
"Nurse!" She turned to face the caller of her name, visibly relieved that she was at least momentarily distracted from the media.
"Oh, you're the boy that came in yesterday with that Eevee!" Chu ran up to her, panting a little from his frantic searching.
Chu nodded. "Yes! Please, tell me! Is she alright?!"
Nurse Joy smiled reassuringly. "Yes. She's just fine. We managed to get all the Pokémon out of danger, with the help of a girl and a boy about your age." She looked skyward, as if recalling the events from the night before. "He looked a lot dumber though..."
Chu danced around from foot to foot anxiously. "Can I see her, Nurse Joy?!"
She looked back down at him. "Oh, I'm afraid that's impossible." He was about to protest when she raised her hands. "It's standard PokéCentre procedure; if the Centre is in danger, all Pokémon are to be transported to the next closest Pokémon Centre. In this case, it's Pewter."
Chu blinked at her, dumbfounded that he had already lost his first Pokémon. "B-... but how am I supposed to make it there without any Pokémon...?"
Nurse Joy glared at him. "You would rather she had gotten hurt??" A certain passion burned in her eyes, and Chu suddenly felt very, very small.
"N-no! N-n-not at all! I... I guess I'll have to find my own way through the forest..."
Nurse Joy nodded. "I'm very sorry, but that's all we can do. This Centre won't be operational for a long time, so it would definitely be quicker just to walk to Pewter City. It shouldn't take too long though. A day's walk, tops."
Chu nodded, somewhat lost in thought as to how he was going to get through the reputably dangerous forest without protection. The instant he turned to leave, the reporters pounced on Nurse Joy again, bombarding her with questions.
"Nurse Joy! Are the allegations of you fornicating with your patients true?!"
Chu sat in the diner, staring blankly at his plate of French fries. Great. JUST great! Why kind of trainer am I, walking through one of the best spots for a beginner to train, WITHOUT a Pokémon?? He whapped himself on the forehead in frustration, trying to figure out a solution. Just then, he felt the cushioned seat on the opposite side of his booth table move, and he looked up.
It was Chenelle. Her Charmander hoped up next to her, then clambered up onto the table. She smirked at him. "Hey, crybaby."
Chu frowned, and was definitely NOT in the mood. "Chenelle... I'm definitely NOT in the mood."
She rolled her eyes and stole a fry, taking advantage of the male's obvious lethargy and depression. "Oh come on, Chu." He was a little surprised that she remembered his name. "Quit sulking like that. Whining won't get your Eevee back. The only way you're gonna see her any time soon is if you just head north."
Chu bit down angrily on a french fry, overestimating the thickness of it and chomping down painfully on his tongue. Flinching slightly, he pounded at his knee under the table in anger, which was now mixed with pain. "Juth.... Just HOW am I going to do that?!?!" He almost yelled, and the other customers looked up from their meals to stare.
Chenelle's expression became less mocking and more serious as she chewed thoughtfully on the fry she had stolen. "Well.... Blaze here and I are heading that way this afternoon..." The Charmander looked up at her, confused. Was she offering what he thought she was offering?
Chu was just as perplexed. "...What are you saying...?"
Chenelle looked out the window. Blaze frowned at her uncertainty. This wasn't like her. "...I still owe you for that hundred you gave me yesterday... I spent it all, so the only way... I guess..." She turned to look back at him, that mischievous, trouble-making look in her eyes again. "..Is to escort little Crybaby through Viridian Forest."
At first, Chu was insulted. But, as unobservant as he may often be, he did notice her hesitating. He grinned inwardly. I knew it. She's SO go the hots for me. Adjusting his bandana subconsciously, he picked up another fry, trying to remain humble-looking. "W... well... i-if you're sure I won't be imposing... I guess I could follow you two around..."
Chenelle suddenly stood up. "It's settled then! Meet me at the north end of the main road running through town at one. And DON'T be late!" She grabbed a handful of fries and walked out briskly. The Charmander shot Chu an evil look, then scampered off after his Trainer.
Chu blinked after her. "She sure was in a hurry..." he mused to himself. Finally allowing the grin to leak out, he began eating the half-cold fries hungrily, his hope of continuing his journey, AND getting some, now renewed.
Blaze caught up with Chenelle a few yards away from the door to the diner. He looked up at her, and gave a concerned "Char!" She frowned at him, obviously conflicted over something. "Hush, Blaze..." She took out his PokéBall and pointed at him. "Return!" Before he could protest, the red beam shot from the white button in the middle of the sphere, converting his lizard-like form into energy and sucking it into the ball. She was telling herself that she really didn't feel anything for the annoying, immature boy, that her concern was for the Eevee. She truly couldn't stand seeing Pokémon suffer, and if that idiot hurt her two nights ago, she wanted to make sure it was alright. However, whether or not there was something more to her decision, she didn't know. She always heard her friends talking about this Chu person, and how sexy he looked with his bandana, but she never participated in that girlish banter. But after seeing how much he cared for the Eevee's wellbeing, regardless of whether or not he was the cause, moved her somewhat. Frowning even deeper, she hurried her pace. Maybe packing her gear back at the hotel would make her feel better.
"Chansey! Chansey!!!" came the high-pitched, yet soft tone of the medical Pokémon.
"Eevee? Where are you Eevee?!" the call of a male doctor accompanied that of the Chansey, and Eevee pressed herself lower to the cold nighttime grass. The beam of a flashlight cut through the leaves of the bush she was hiding in, but glided just over her head. The search team combed the surroundings once more before moving out of sight into another group of trees.
Feeling somewhat safe now, she allowed herself to pant, softly, and go over what had happened within the past few hours. She had woken up in her hospital bed, presumably in Viridian City. Feeling incredibly lustful, she had been (temporarily) satiated by two very attractive Pikachu... She shuddered, and mentally slapped herself as she began to get wet down below. Now wasn't the time to get distracted!
What happened next...? She passed out from her encounter with the Pikachu brothers, only to be awakened a few moments later by and explosion, face-first in the bust of Nurse Joy. She wasn't conscious enough to struggle, but the next thing she knew, she was in some sort of metal bowl, and everything went white.
When she regained her senses, she was in a similar ward as her former one, and it was still the wee hours of the night. She had looked out the window, and realized that this wasn't the same PokéCentre that she had been in earlier. Noticing the door was closed, and with no real way to open it, she couldn't do much about getting out.
About an hour passed, and there was a lot of commotion outside. She didn't know where she was, but she didn't like the fact that she was alone, unattended, and, most importantly, without her trainer. Fed up with waiting, she ran headlong towards the window, leaping an impressive five feet to clear the window sill, and smashing through the glass. Suffering a few cuts on her shoulders, and one on her cheek, she managed to make a tumbling landing onto the grassy ground. The door to the room behind her could be heard opening, and she heard human shouts. She knew that she didn't have much time to escape, so she darted, southward, into the large forest near the centre.
Now that she was resting under a bush a few hundred metres from the nearest search party, she had time to look around. After only a few moments, she recognized the place as Viridian Forest. She had been in it several times, and knew it quite well. It was actually where the pervert of a professor captured her before he started...
She shivered again, and decided to get going. Standing up slowly, she flitted from bush to bush until she was about half a kilometer away. Satisfied she had escaped detection, she continued south, where she assumed that Chu still was. Keeping not so far off the main path, she made her way slowly, cautious for any nighttime predators that, from her experience, infested these woods.
Her journey lasted for about an hour, before she decided to take a break. She had had a rough few days; jumping through windows, evading search parties, having wild, spontaneous sex with two "curious" Pikachu.
Her ears drooped. She couldn't stop thinking about the brothers, Zig and Zag, nor of the pleasure her trainer gave her the night before. Curling up under a tree, she began to paw at herself, finding the self-induced warmth comforting as well as extremely arousing. Being in heat was sometimes quite a hassle, but she couldn't help lusting for pleasure like this all the time.
Although she had managed to escape detection from the humans, and avoided any unpleasant confrontations, there was one thing that she couldn't help but do that attracted other visitors. And she was about to find out how strong her scent got when she pawed at herself like that.

I'm SO sorry this is so horrendously overdue. I'm also terribly sorry that there's no yiffing in it, but I assure you, it sets up a lot of stuff, as you can probably tell... :D
Chu blinked and rubbed his eyes, glancing back at the sight he had just seen.
