Wolf's Journey by boss_snikrot

Chapter 9 - Siblings

Serenity felt like she was floating. It always felt like that when she was dreaming, something that was so deeply ingrained into the psychic type that it was almost like being awake while the body was asleep. It was simple enough to shut off her mind and rest that too, but she had a purpose for being conscious while she slept that night.

The floating sensation stopped after a few more seconds, the Gardevoir finding herself on a dirt path several kilometres above sea level. Grass on either side swayed gently in a slight breeze, kept flat in some parts by smooth looking rocks. A few metres off the side of the path stood a pile of the smooth rocks arranged in a pyramid shape, the scene's occupant balancing on one foot on the very peak of the pile. This was Gallade's dream, Serenity knew. She also knew that he had registered her presence there the instant it had manifested.

"To what do I owe this unexpected pleasure, Serenity?" he asked, easing himself out of his position so that he could give her his full attention. When one visited the dream of another, it was as important to play the good host as it was to do so in the waking world.

"I wanted to talk to you, Gallade." She replied, walking over to meet him at the base of the pyramid. He motioned to an empty spot on the side of the path, a pair of identical comfortable chairs materialising at his will. He took one for himself while she sank into the other, slipping effortlessly into a comfortable position.

"It must be important if you'd rather talk in the dream world." He observed, fixing his gaze on her. She didn't flinch, her own mental powers allowing her a level of focus humans could only dream of.

"Yes." She answered. "It's a proposition, if you will." He didn't respond, letting her continue. She took a deep breath before doing so. "I've been doing quite a bit of thinking lately, especially when Wolf, Lucky and Caelas are around. I think I'm ready to have a child of my own, and I would be eternally grateful if you would father one for me. I will assume all the responsibility, if you would rather not be a part of it." Gallade didn't respond for a while, looking over the edge of his dream field to the horizon where the ocean was visible.

"I'm afraid I have to refuse." He finally said. "I simply cannot bring myself to mate with you." The air around them suddenly became tense at his words, though it was no product of the dream.

"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked, a warning tone entering her voice. He simply shrugged.

"I just can't have sex with someone your age." He replied, unperturbed by how she abruptly stood, nor by the hostile look in her eyes.

"My age?!" she yelled, glaring death at him. "There's no reason to be so rude about it! When you wake up, don't be surprised if your head's all swollen out of shape!" With that, Serenity left his dream and headed back to her body.

Serenity opened her eyes, sitting up hastily and glaring over to where Gallade still slept. Standing, she marched over and kicked him in the side, knowing that he wouldn't feel it until he woke up.

"You jerk!" she hissed through clenched teeth, not wanting to wake up the others. Stomping on his gut, she stormed out of the common room and headed for the outside balcony, hoping the crisp night air would help her calm down.

"Couldn't sleep, huh?"

Serenity turned around, having been too wrapped up in angry thoughts to know that Wolf had approached her. He closed the door quietly behind himself, the trainer dressed only in his boxers and bed shirt. The Gardevoir was wearing a loose nightie, something Wolf had picked up for her when she had complained that her regular clothes were uncomfortable when sleeping. He moved to lean on the rail next to her, staring out over the forest where many others had homes among the trees. It was what Fortree City was known for, and what Wolf was used to after living there his whole life. They remained silent for a minute, taking in the moonlit view of the treehouses until Serenity felt ready to respond.

"Yes. No. I don't know." She replied, wondering if Wolf could make sense of her rambling. "It's nothing like that. It's something else." He waited for her to get her thoughts in order, knowing that she would only share what she felt comfortable sharing.

"I..." she began. "I'm ready to have a child." Wolf nodded, letting her speak. "Watching you and Lucky and Caelas... you all look so happy. I want to be happy like that. It's just that when I asked Gallade, he said he wouldn't give me a child because I was too old for him." He took in her scowl, dumbfounded at Gallade's reason for refusing.

"That's ridiculous." He said, shaking his head and returning his gaze to the forest. "You're not old." No one spoke, Wolf thinking about how shallow the pokemon had been in making that remark before he realised that Serenity was staring at him. He frowned back at her, confused. "What?"

"Wolf... how old do you think I am?" she asked cautiously. Wolf felt a strange sensation when she voiced the question, like a rat who had just seen the metal bar descending towards his head. Serenity felt it too, sighing at his hesitation. "I won't get mad at you, as long as it's an honest guess." He thought about the question for a minute, going over all the times they had been together.

"I'd say... mid thirties?" he asked tentatively, Serenity giving him an exasperated smile.

"Wolf, you have to remember that I met Alice when she was just ten years old." Serenity explained, a sad look on her face as she looked back over Fortree. "This year, I will be eighty eight years old." She didn't see the shocked expression on his face, nor was she inclined to listen to the thoughts in his head. She was far too preoccupied with her own, self pity running slowly through her mind.

"Hell, Serenity." He exclaimed finally. "You look pretty damn hot for your age!" She blushed, feeling that he wasn't just talking for her benefit.

"Thank you, Wolf." She whispered, face reddening. He was as much in tune with her feelings as Alice had been, something Serenity appreciated with all her heart. She moved closer, placing his arm around her comfortingly and encouraging him to hold her. They stayed like that for a minute, the Gardevoir happy to have a friend who cared so much about her.

"Hey Serenity..." Wolf started, prompting her to look up into his eyes. "You said that we could have a child together, right?" She looked at him in confusion, tonight's mental mess not helping her to divine his point.

"Yeah, but what's your point?" she asked, tilting her head. He smiled down at her, rubbing her arm.

"What if I gave you a child?" he said, seeing her eyes widen at the prospect. Would he really do that for her?

"Wolf, as much as I appreciate the thought..." she said cautiously. "I just don't know if we can make it work. I mean, I know Lucky doesn't mind recreational sex but this is different. Would she really be okay with something like this?" He grimaced, turning his attention to the moon.

"I don't know." He admitted, not letting go of her. "I'll talk to her about it tomorrow, and see what she thinks. If she's fine with it, I'd be happy to. If not, I promise to help you find someone to give you a child." Her eyes lit up at this, and a genuine smile graced her features for the first time that night.

"Thank you so much Wolf!" she cried, hugging him close. "I'm so happy that I have a friend like you!"

***

When morning came, nothing was said about last night's talk as the whole family sat down to eat breakfast. Gallade was the last one to emerge, bent over slightly and holding his side. Byron looked over to where the pokemon stood, concerned by the movements.

"Gallade, are you alright?" he asked, the pokemon giving him only the slightest of glances.

"It's nothing." He said, glaring at Serenity. The psychic pokemon waited until no one was looking before flipping him off quickly, still annoyed at what he had said last night. The rest of the meal passed with nothing more than general banter passing between the family and pokemon. Once everyone was finished and the plates and dishes put aside for washing, Wolf led his pokemon outside for training.

He set up the targets in the clearing they used for training while they waited patiently, talking amongst themselves. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed that Serenity was hovering near Lucky, though she was silent while Lucky talked something over with Ninetales. She was anxious, and if Lucky picked up on it she might feel threatened by the idea of Wolf giving her a child. Sighing quietly to himself, he hammered the last target into place and let the pokemon take up positions opposite each target. He gently steered Lucky away from the group and to a spot on the opposite side of the field, motioning for her to sit down. Once she was comfortable, he sat down next to her and draped one arm around her shoulders. She smiled exasperatedly.

"Wolf, I know we missed each other so much," she began, a hint of amusement in her voice. "But I think training would be a good idea right now." He gave a short laugh, kissing her on the ear.

"Actually, I wanted to talk to you about Serenity." He replied, once he was sure his voice would carry no laughter. Lucky remained silent, waiting for him to continue. "Last night, I found her out on the balcony just looking over Fortree. She told me she wanted to have a baby." The Lucario's eyes lit up, flicking between Wolf and Serenity.

"She does? That's wonderful news!" she murmured excitedly, holding him close. There wasn't a moment where she felt anything less than happy that she had a son of her own, and liked the idea of Serenity becoming a mother too. Wolf didn't smile, not happy about having to spoil her mood.

"Don't be too happy just yet." He said, watching his pokemon training. "You might not like the rest of what I have to say." She grew silent again, wondering what he meant. "See, when she asked Gallade about it he said that he wouldn't help her. I found her after that, and... I kind of offered to..." Lucky turned to him, eyes mournful.

"You offered to father her a child." She said flatly, finishing the sentence. Wolf nodded, looking at the Gardevoir as she focussed her power and sent a burst at the target. He looked back at Lucky, the Lucario returning his gaze with a grimace. "Wolf, how did you think I was going to take this news?"

"Honestly?" he said, feeling like the metal bar had just descended closer to his rodent head. "Not well. At least I didn't just do it anyway and tell you that I'm the trainer." Lucky nodded, resting her head on his shoulder.

"That's true." She admitted. "I'm glad that you respect my thoughts in this. But Wolf, what would you and Serenity do if I say no?" He sighed, rubbing her arm and letting her fur slide between his fingers.

"I promised that I would help her find someone to be a father." He replied, letting Lucky weigh up the options. She didn't like the idea of Wolf's private sessions with the others to be more than casual encounters, but his promise hung heavily in her mind. She trusted Wolf to treat Serenity well, caring about her health and comfort. The idea of Serenity breeding with a complete stranger appalled Lucky, where neither she nor the child would have any true support. Sighing in resignation, she knew that if she allowed that she couldn't live with herself.

"In that case, I would be much happier that you do so." She said. "A mother needs to know that she has support from the father, and I can't allow her or her child to be devoid of that." At this Wolf shifted guiltily. He hadn't been there for Lucky and Caelas, something that hurt him quite deeply. Lucky sensed his thoughts, holding him closer.

"You wanted to be." She whispered, kissing his cheek. "We both knew that, it wasn't your fault that you couldn't stay with us." He nodded, still not entirely convinced.

"She said something about her doing all of the parenting." He replied. "I suppose she can always change her mind if she feels like it." Lucky smiled, stroking his chest.

"If you have one flaw Wolf, it's that you care too much." She said, a smile growing on her face. "But I hope you never change." He grinned, taking the remark in humour as she intended.

"Really?" he asked. "So you don't want me to grow a moustache?" She laughed, shoving him playfully. No matter what happened, she knew that she would always love him. Lost in their thoughts, it took them a moment to realise that Serenity was standing over them, an anxious look on her face.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but..." she said, unable to finish the sentence for fear of seeming too pushy. Lucky gave her a soft smile, standing up and taking her hand in her paws.

"Yes." She answered the unspoken question, feeling glad of her decision when she saw the Gardevoir's eyes light up. Without warning, Serenity wrapped her arms around Lucky and held her tightly, the Lucario grinning at her reaction. "I'll sleep in the common room tonight and let you share Wolf's bed." She drew back as Serenity loosened her grip, beaming ear to ear.

"I can never repay you for this, Lucky." She whispered, a single happy tear sliding down her cheek.

The rest of the day passed without much incident, though Wolf couldn't help but feel ever more excited as the day passed. It wasn't so much the prospect of sex that had him thrilled, but more that he would be helping Serenity fulfil her wish to have a child. Most trainers would understand helping their pokemon with a problem, but Wolf felt incredible that he could be the answer to a dilemma such as this. How many other trainers would go to such lengths to make their pokemon happy?

Wolf glanced over the assembled family and pokemon, a smile appearing on his face. His parents were lying on the couch watching the television, Rose draped over Byron in the very same position he and Lucky often adopted. Many of the pokemon were similarly grouped together, and Wolf noted that Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan were making sure to keep out of Byron's sight as they cuddled, whispering to one another. Ivysaur was lying to one side, Jazz lying back against his side. Wolf knew they weren't any more of a couple than himself and Jazz, but he suspected that they liked each other more than they knew.

Princess and Ninetales were similarly together, the fire pokemon was nuzzling her girlfriend gently, tongue flicking out every so often tenderly. Wolf liked that more than any of the others, glad that Ninetales had been able to rebuild her confidence so well since realizing she was a lesbian. He could remember when she wouldn't spend more time than necessary talking with the others, how she always seemed to be sad while hoping for the best.

"Wolf, I'm sleepy." Serenity murmured, appearing next to him and slipping her arms around his waist. She blinked up at him with a coy smile on her face, trying to code her intentions whilst still in company. "Can I sleep with you tonight?" He nodded, holding her close and kissing the top of her head.

"Sure." He replied, playing the part she had cast him for. "I might as well go with you then. I don't want to wake you up accidentally." No one really seemed to be paying attention to them, but in Wolf's experience it never paid to be careless. Quietly he guided her through the hall towards his room, closing the door behind them and turning to find the Gardevoir already stripping off her gown. He watched her as she casually laid the garment on top of his wash basket before climbing into the bed, allowing her lithe figure to disappear under the sheets. She batted her eyelids, a genuine smile curling her lips as he stripped off his own clothes, shifting her gown enough to put them in the basket before he joined her. For a minute they simply laid there, looking at each other until Serenity put one hand on his cheek, drawing it gently down his side until she reached his waist.

"Thank you so much for doing this, Wolf." She whispered, her face inches from his, bright red eyes staring into dark green as she ran her hand over his side again. "I can never repay you for this."

"Nonsense." He replied, draping one hand around her thin body to rest on her back. "Friends help each other out, no matter what. You don't owe me anything." She leaned in, planting her lips on his own to silence him, enjoying the taste of his own lips. Taking the hint, Wolf started rubbing along her legs and backside, his other hand keeping her head comfortable. He worked his hand in between her legs, tracing a finger along her dampening slit. She pressed her head into his shoulder, a hiss making its way past clenched teeth. Wolf adjusted their positions, sliding his hand around to the other side of her legs as he laid her on her back. He kept rubbing her pussy, slowly inserting a finger every few seconds until he had three caressing her most sensitive spot.

Serenity whimpered, clutching at his shoulder as he continued to slide his fingers in and out of her. The feeling was almost too much for her, the Gardevoir struggling not to scream in bliss. Whether it was the thought of what tonight's activities would result in or how much attention Wolf was giving her, it was incredible.

Once he could feel that his fingers were wet and she was completely soaked he finally withdrew them, letting Serenity catch her breath while he licked at the digits. He left quite a bit of residue on them, reaching down to rub the remainder onto his rock hard shaft. Enjoying the feeling of her warm juices, Wolf positioned himself above her on his hands and knees, the Gardevoir reaching down to hold him steady. He glanced down at her, rewarded with a warm smile and happy eyes staring back.

"Thank you, Wolf." She whispered, tugging at him until he let her guide him in, the tip of his penis gliding smoothly into her well soaked passage. She let out a shuddering breath as he went in right to the base, letting his shaft go and wrapping her arms around his torso. He did likewise, holding her close for a few seconds in this loving position. It wasn't about the sex for either of them this time, but for the love and respect they held for each other. Wolf was the one to ease back, planting a single kiss on her slender neck before he drew himself out slowly, pressing back in with fluid motions.

"Mmmm..." Serenity said, batting her eyes up at her trainer. They may have been doing this for a child, but that didn't mean they couldn't enjoy it too. He gazed down at her while her arms slid up his spine to drape themselves over his neck. He pressed his hips as close as he could to hers, pushing himself into her body up to the very base while making sure his heavier weight wasn't crushing her.

Serenity moaned softly as he continued, pulling his head closer so she could plant kisses on his neck. Her scent filled his senses, the trainer breathing deeply as he thrust in and out of her slick passage. He was completely focussed on her, instinctively noticing her breathing getting progressively quicker, her voice louder and her scent heavier as he kept up his pace, wholly intent on making sure she was completely and wholly satisfied.

She wrapped her legs around his lower back, keeping his body pinned to hers while still allowing him to pick up speed with his hips, thrusting into her welcoming pussy with greater vigour. She dropped one hand to her mouth to stifle the increasingly loud moans of pleasure she had no control over. Wolf's tip was brushing as deep into her as possible, stroking the most sensitive nerves she had and driving her deeper into senselessness. She didn't care anymore if anyone heard them, though she couldn't remove her hand from between her teeth. She couldn't focus on anything but Wolf's movements in her pussy as they pushed her to the height of ecstasy.

A few more thrusts from the trainer and Serenity couldn't help but bite her fingers hard, Wolf bringing her to her final peak and causing every part of her body to tighten up as she reached her orgasm. Her pussy gripped his penis tightly, her legs and arm crushing him to her body, her jaw biting into her fingers, though none of this could distract her from the heavenly feeling between her legs. The best was yet to come though, and she shivered in bliss as Wolf reached his own peak, shooting his seed into her, the semen coating her insides and warming her considerably.

Wolf finally fell still, remaining propped up on his elbows and slightly on his knees, drawing his head back enough to take in Serenity's unfocussed gaze and heavy breathing as her death grip slackened, allowing him to slide out of her embrace and onto his side next to her, tracing one finger along her midsection while he caught his own breath. After a while she tilted her head to look at him, an exhausted smile plastered on her face.

"Wolf..." she gasped, looking into his soft green eyes and loving smile. "Thank... you..." He waved his hand gently at her.

"Enough with the thanks, Serenity." He whispered back, caressing her cheek. "I told you this is what friends do for each other."

***

"Gallade, I need to talk with you." Wolf said as he walked into the gym early next morning, having known that he would be getting in some lone training before everyone was awake. Gallade looked over from where he was stretching, keeping a half interested eye on the trainer as he sat down on the bench press.

"Yes, Wolf?" he asked, his tone neutral while the trainer stared at him intently.

"I thought I'd just let you know that Serenity is going to have a child." He stated, still looking intensely into Gallade's own eyes. "It's mine, but as far as everyone else is going to know it's yours." Gallade looked back, easing himself out of his stretch and standing to regard Wolf fully.

"I had heard you were quite... intimate... with some of the girls." He said slowly, not taking his eyes off Wolf's own. "I suppose I should have expected this to happen after I refused her. You care a great deal for all of them." They kept looking at each other for another minute, until Gallade spoke again. "I will act alongside you, since I respect the level of love you show your friends." Wolf smiled, getting up to leave.

"Thanks, Gallade." He said, turning and leaving the gym. "I appreciate it."
