Chapters 9 and 10 - A Coordinator's Tears/A Shocking Decision
CHAPTER 9: READ THIS! Early on, I wanted to do something with Pikachu and Misty or May. Well, I did so, and this is the first one, in a mini series called "Pikachu's Flashbacks." Only 2 chapters do this - 9 and 15. Just so you'll know.

Chapter 9 - A Coordinator's Tears

It was a calm, beautiful night in the Sinnoh region. Dawn and Pikachu had just finished their nightly routine, and were on the way back. Both of them were rather happy with how this particular night had turned out, but something kept nagging Pikachu. A fuzzy memory that just wouldn't go away.
Past "relations."
The thought had made him much more energetic this evening, but it still bothered him. As the two reached the campsite and Pikachu snuggled close to Ash, the Pokemon instantly fell asleep.
This ... Is the Pokemon's dream.
It was a cold night in Hoenn. The air was crisp, but rather unpleasant on any travelers. This was a time when Ash and Brock had two traveling partners instead of the usual one girl - May and Max. May was a brown-haired, somewhat naive girl, and Max was her younger, sometimes bratty brother. The two argued almost as much as Ash used to with Misty, but it just couldn't be helped.
The group was leaving a Contest Hall - This was nothing out of the usual, as May's goal was to be a great Pokemon Coordinator and win as many Contest ribbons as possible. But sadly, her pink cat-like Pokemon Skitty had let her down once more. Its' "Assist" attack just couldn't give the right result, and she lost at the last moment. May should really have been used to that, but each loss always hurt, and Pikachu understood why. Although he had never participated in a contest himself, losing any kind of thing was always hard, no matter what you tried to seem like afterwards. A smile could fool your friends, but not your heart.
It was late in the evening, and the group of trainers had finally fallen asleep in the Pokemon Center - All except for May. The girl slowly crept from the room and down the hall, heading outside. Pikachu, being the caring soul that he is, quickly followed his human friend outside, from sheer curiosity as to what was going on. May headed past the center into the forest, where she sat down on a tree stump. Pikachu had always wondered why the group didn't just always sleep outdoors - They eventually ended up outside anyway.
May turned away, not knowing she was being watched. The girl was silent for a few moments, just staring at the ground before bursting into tears. Her loud sobbing surprised Pikachu, who had hidden behind a tree.
"Why? Why can't I ever win anything? Why does Skitty always fail? I try to be good to it!" May sobbed, looking up at the moon. Pikachu tilted his head in confusion - May had won many contests, so what was the big problem? He knew she hated losing, but she asked why she couldn't win anything? She had won a lot!
Soft-sounding footsteps startled May, making her quickly turn around. Pikachu had finally revealed himself, and the Pokemon looked rather nervous. May blinked, confused as to why he was there. She smiled, motioning the creature over.
"Oh Pikachu, did you come out here to make me feel better?" She held the yellow Pocket Monster to her chest, and slowly ran her fingers through the soft fur on his head. Pikachu smiled, nodding to her. May picked Pikachu up to eye level, kissing him on the nose, making him blush. She smiled, again holding him close to her.
"Thank you ... I don't have a boyfriend to console me in a time like this, but at least I have a great friend like you ..." She closed her eyes, staying silent with Pikachu in her arms.
Pikachu stayed silent, feeling her slightly large breasts press against his head. It was done - Pikachu had evolved into Raichu.
"I wish Dawn could have seen this, I wonder where she headed off to?" Brock thought out loud, looking around. As soon as Dawn was told of Ash's decision, she ran off into the woods, and quiet sobbing could be heard as she left. To her, Pikachu's evolution meant losing a best friend. Of course, the Pokemon would still have every memory the two made before, but it still wasn't the same. Her small, yellow lover was gone - For good.
"Pikachu ... Please, don't let it happen ..." She looked to the sky, her sobs growing louder. "Why? Why did this have to happen? Why can't Team Rocket just leave us alone? They caused this!" After no response from Dawn, he walked in front of her and slowly made his way on to her lap - He weighed much more than usual, but Dawn had much more strength after catching Mightyena all those months ago. She looked down, beginning to pet the creature softly.
"I'm sorry, Raichu ... I shouldn't be so selfish. After all, you're still my friend, right?"
"Raichu!" The Pokemon nodded, smiling.
Dawn returned the smile, but it quickly changed into a smirk. She wiped her eyes, then grabbed the Pokemon and made him face her.
