Disillusioned here, wishing you a very merry December! As an addition to the Fics section's administrative staff, I'll be assisting you in your literary adventures from here on out. Don't hesitate to contact me if there's something you need!
But let's get down to work.
This month, we'd like to focus on that staple of the Christmas season: gifts. Usually wrapped in paper and cardboard, these offerings from one individual to another can symbolize the bond that they share, be they friends, lovers, family, or even complete strangers. But though material gifts are things to be treasured, the best gifts can at times come from the heart in the form of lessons learned or tender moments shared beneath the mistletoe.
Or in bed with a truckload of holiday 'toys'. We're not picky.
Joking aside, this month's theme is 'The Best Present'. Show us what gifts your characters have to give to each other through your own words, and make sure to add your submissions to the proper theme category before January 1st!
Think words can't hurt you? My twenty-pound dictionary begs to differ.
