As some may have noticed, despite our best multi-layered efforts, there was some spam getting through our filters today. It is assumed that these spam attempts were human-assisted (humans set up the accounts and hand them over to bots).
We have dealt with this as quickly as we could. Thanks for your patience, and know that no anti-spam measure is perfect. If you see anymore spam, please report the post, this allows us to ban and delete the account and all it's posts with one click.
On top of this we have employed Digibase Operations BLCache, which works at the system-level to monitor post data for spam content. All we need is an IP address and we can greatly reduce the chances of spam returning from that IP.
