      With the order given to proceed, the pachirisu scientist begins the test of his mind control device. With a push of his one-button remote, Tanner is completely at his mercy.

      The buizel goes rigid, a jolt of pain rushing through his body from his neck out to his extremities. In an instant he has lost all control, his muscles ignoring his mind's orders.

      But something isn't quite right... The pachirisu said this was a mind control collar, but Tanner is entirely aware. His mind isn't being controlled at all, he's just being worked like a puppet. He tries with all the effort he can muster to move, to scream for Lexi to run, but the buizel can't even blink an eye.

      Lexi gasps, looking on in fear as her brother tenses up and goes still. She sees his eyes glaze over before his posture becomes relaxed again. "T-Tanner...? Are you alright? What's going on?"

      Tanner's mind reels. What is this pachirisu going to do to them? Why did he say Lexi would have to be restrained? Is he going to hurt her?

      He doesn't get long to think about it before the little blue pervert speaks up. "Bork, prepare zee restraint! Buizel, hold her!"

      Meanwhile in some dimly-lit control room two sinister figures observe two increasingly alarmed buizels as they become the unwilling test subjects for the company's newest version of its mind control collar. The shadowy figure on the right clasps his paws together, grinning wide at the array of screens before him.

      "Very good, doctor. Proceed with the test and document your results. Afterward, you may enjoy them at your leisure as per your request. You've made great advances for us, you deserve a little bonus. When you've finished with them, they are to be brought in for use in further experiments pertaining to project Eevee."

      "As you all can see, vee have tracked down zee trespassers zat ver discovered by security on company grounds. I have placed zee mind control collar on zee male buizel and vill now demonstrate eets ability to bend zee vill of zee subject to my commands.

      Ziss model ees much more powerful zan our previous models and should be able to overcome even zee strong emotional bonds between zee siblings, ziss makes zee buizels zee perfect subjects for testing zee new model. As ziss ees only a prototype, vee vill be taking zee precaution of restraining zee female."

      Tanner and Lexi aren't quite sure exactly what is going on here and they're pretty sure that crazy squirrel wasn't wearing that lab coat just a second ago. Things are definitely starting to get weird.

      A perverted, mad scientist pachirisu with a flair for acrobatics, a strange collar and remote control with yet unknown functions, a creature lurking in the bushes with a video camera strapped to its head... This picnic has taken a detour down crazy street.

      Should the twins be worried? Probably...

      Having been shunned by their kind for differences from other buizel and being without parents or other family, Tanner and Lexi formed a strong bond with each other from an early age.

      Recently, in a bid to gain some acceptance, the pair tried out for the position of mascot for the AGNPH. It may have lead to their exploitation, but it would have been worth it to have a family of sorts and they were fully prepared for the consequences.

      Unfortunately, it was not to be, and they lost the coveted position to a spunky little rattata/trainer. Disheartened by their defeat, the two spent some time feeling sorry for themselves, but after some cooling off Tanner and Lexi decided to take a little vacation.

      Thinking some time together in a nearby forest would be beneficial to the two of them, the twins packed up some things and found a nice, shady spot for a picnic. Indeed, it is also a bit of a date as Tanner and Lexi are a little closer to each other than your average siblings.

      And that brings us to now. Backstories for all~
