      DarkJester, it originated on Yotsuba BBS. From some long copypasta.
      In short, poster asked some retard in school: "I heard you like mudkips" - "I love them!!" - "Well, I have one with me" and gave him a plush doll. That guy unzipped his pants and started to fuck a doll with horrible "EINF! EINF!" noise.

      Whenever this story is fiction or truth, "I herd u liek mudkips" became a catchphrase which spreaded across the webs.
