      I think my tablet is dying on me. It keeps cutting out mid-stroke and is generally unpleasant. Maybe I just need to change the battery.

      Sorry for the sketch, but I'm trying to get rid of a block. If anyone could give me tips on how to get jtablet running in vista, I would be very thankful.

      Try hitting it repeatedly until it gives in.
      If that doesn't work try reading the manual that the tablet came with (if you still have it) that's what I do when my technology doesn't work. But reading it isn't enough because you have to do stuff afterward, that's why my technology still doesn't work.

      What is even acceptable for a background? Are there rules people follow that I should know about? I'm pretty happy with adding in random curves and a bubble here and there, but I'm not sure if that's the right way to do things.

      Timer lies, I wasted 40-60 minutes watching a dungeons and dragons movie prior to uploading.

      Now that classes have finally ended, I've been able to find the time to finish this picture.

      TIMER LIES. I switched operating systems (XP to Vista) around when I finished the line art, and struggled with tablet lag for hours until I managed to fix it. I think I only spent around 500 minutes on it, which isn't so bad considering I read and draw (slowly) at the same time.

      I'm confident that this is much better than my last picture, but I'm not happy with a few things (legs, face, and some shading)that I just couldn't get right. So, sorry if anyone is bothered by those; I will try to do much better on my next picture, whenever it happens!

      ALSO-

      I think that the CAREFULLY RENDERED BACKGROUND really helps to bring out the MESSAGE and EMOTIONS which MAKE UP the ARTISTIC FOUNDATION of this picture. It makes me feel as though I am actually a CAPS LOCKED GREY BACKGROUND in real life. I am so lazy :p.

      Hmm flat? Well, try using blue to shade reds, might take a while to get a shade that looks just right, but you'll notice it'll make the color pop out more. (using negative colors to shade is fuuuun)

      Art is ALWAYS a learning experience! hehe

      Well if you want to have it less flat, use more shading tones.

      Aside from assumptions, I'm not entirely sure what the safety save thing is for so I'm just going to post this and finish it later tonight. My parents came home a little early, and if they catch me drawing pokemon cocks I'll be sooooooooooo screwed.

      Well, here I am. I've been lurking for a few months now and I figured I should give the oekaki a try at least once. Not only is this my first time drawing in the AGNPH oekaki, but it's also my first time drawing on an oekaki board PERIOD. More advanced stuff (like colouring) is beyond me, which is why this picture is so plain. Maybe I'll improve over time.

      TL;DR Hey guys I'm a newbie! Feed me harsh critique and teach me your ways so I can rise up through the ranks of the internet!
