Flag 1: Unfolding of Events
Once upon a time, the world was living in a time of peace. No wars, no violence and no dissatisfaction existed during this period. It might seem that all people would be happy about this. But not all are satisfied with prolonged peace...

"I never really loved you, Hiroshi..."
These words stung his heart like a bullet. He never suspected this of her. He stood there, in front of the girl that he thought loved him, struck and in great disbelief. The girl that he loved never loved him back...
It was all a lie...
It started a week ago,
Hiroshi met this girl inside a grocery. He accidentally bumped into her while browsing for some afternoon snacks, causing her to drop her groceries. Being the gentleman that he was, he helped and soon, the two started to talk to each other. A friendship was soon formed and before long, the girl confessed to him. He also accepted her love and soon, the two started going out. Their coupling was accepted by the town residents as a match made in heaven but it wasn't meant to be....
She had a darker purpose...she loved breaking the hearts of men who fell into her trap...and Hiroshi was one of them.
With those words, Hiroshi broke down and cried, for the very first time in his entire life...

A few years later...
"Come on, Hiroshi...we're going to be late for school!!" shouted his sister, Ami. She was a bit younger than Hiroshi but she acted more maturely than him. She did all the housework and all the cooking, just like what a housewife would do. She had long, white hair and eyes with the condition, Heterochromia Iridum, or mismatching eye colors. Hiroshi had this same defect. The left one was crimson while the other one was dark blue.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming!" Hiroshi called out, the sound of his sister's rushed footsteps hurrying him. He had ruffled hair with his Heterochromia being the inversion of Ami's eye colors. He always wore sharp glasses, which he described was his 'fashion statement'.
They both lived at a mansion left to them by their deceased parents. They only occupied two of the first floor rooms, which consisted of 8 bedrooms. The second floor consisted of only 8 bedrooms and 2 guest rooms, presumably for guests staying overnight. Lately, the second floor has accumulated dust since their disuse. In the main lobby, there was a grand staircase which branched out into two flights of smaller stairs, each of them leading to a different part of the mansion. At the point where they split, there was a picture of the entire Shiroikumo family. The painting itself was starting to grow mold and the state was degrading fast.
The first floor was reserved primarily for family members so the rooms were extravagant than those on the second floor. The mansion was located on the highest point of a small mountain, meaning it was slightly isolated from the main town of Otoshi. The mountain also accommodated a shrine, which was dedicated to a certain white wolf goddess*. The shrine itself was guarded by a shrine maiden, who did nothing all day except drink tea and eat biscuits*. She seemed to care none the less about a certain oni that always drinks sake from a gourd that never empties or some magician who has the habit of borrowing then never returning them.
It might seem very stupid to live far away from the industrial center but actually, it was the best thing that happened to the siblings. Since they lived on the mountain, their physical fitness was excellent. Another benefit was that it was silent, good for the health.
Hiroshi finally met Ami at the front door, but he was panting and grasping his knees.
"Slept late again, eh?" She muttered, looking away sheepishly while she facepalmed lightly. "You and your eroges..."
"Let's just get going, alright?"
Hiroshi sighed before he started walking, after which Ami soon followed.
"Did you lock the door before we left?" He asked, never looking off the road.
"I did." She smiled at her brother, but he didn't notice the kind gesture.
"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm not going to attend class for today."
"Why not?" She sounded a bit jealous.
"Student Council matters..." he slapped himself lightly on the face. He was unanimously voted as Student Council president because he was the brightest student and the most industrious among them. Sure, being smart has its benefits but it didn't account to being Student Council president.
His sister, however, was just as smart as him. On a previous exam, she nearly made a perfect score. Unfortunately, she accidentally made a slight smudge on her paper, which misled the teacher. Hiroshi made a perfect grade, but he thought nothing of it; it was quite commonplace for him.
After a few minutes of walking, they arrived at the main stone walkway of the school. It was quite modern, but had an almost ancient feel to it. As they walked towards their class building, greetings of "Good morning, President!" or "Hello, President!" seemed to echo throughout the students of the school.
"Does it make you feel happy?" asked Ami, strolling beside Hiroshi before skipping in front of him.
"I don't know. Maybe a bit nostalgic, I guess." He replied, scratching his head.
"Come on," she playfully punched him in the arm. "You're popular and you're smart. I bet you're popular with the girls."
"Cut me some slack. I'm not even interested in women."
Ami gasped and she blushed furiously. "So that means..."
Hiroshi gave her chop to the head. "Never. In. A. Million. Years."
"Ouch..." she groaned, rubbing her head.
"You deserve it. Now, if you don't hurry, you might be late for class." He then gestured for her to leave.
Ami looked at her watch and she shrieked. "You're right!" She stood up and she ran towards the stairs, which lead to the hallway to the classroom.
Hiroshi sighed before walking towards the main lobby, where the Student Council room was located.

The school was previously an all-female exclusive, private school. It remained in that status for 5 years before opening its gates to the male gender. But, they have a higher standard for gaining entrance to this prestigious school. To otakus, this is what they call "harem paradise."
Hiroshi was the first male student ever to be accepted, due to the fact that he aced the entrance test without breaking a sweat. And, of course, the girls in the school were excited to have a man in the school. Thanks to his quiet disposition and calm demeanor, he had the hearts of the girls in his class.
But something will occur that will change everything forever. It seems that fate has been stirred and his fate has been sealed.

Later that day,
"Crap. Those stupid club matters." Hiroshi groaned, stretching his arms. "Won't they ever learn to organize their schedules?"
As he walked home, he looked up into the night sky and saw the scarlet moon.
"Weird. I have never seen the moon like this before." He shrugged. "Who cares?"
He resumed walking, as if it was normal.
When he got home, the first thing he noticed was that the mansion wasn't lit. Sensing something bad, he rushed past the gate and ran inside.
He was greeted by his sister, who was holding a flashlight.
"What's the matter?" She asked, moving closer. "Why are you sweating so much?"
Hiroshi blushed slightly before answering "Nothing. Why are the lights out?"
Ami sighed, "I don't know. Maybe the fuse broke."
"What do we do now?"
"I'm afraid that we're going to have to wait until tomorrow for someone to fix it."
A long silence broke out between the two before they muttered, almost simultaneously,
"Crap."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I really wish there was electricity." Hiroshi sighed. He was sitting on the balcony, watching the scarlet moon pass. "Time sure moves slowly."
"You can say that again."
An unknown voice echoed from behind Hiroshi. In his surprise, he fell over the chair he was sitting on, giving a glimpse of the source of the unknown voice. It was a woman, approximately 30 years of age. She had blond hair and a matching yellow eye color. She seemed to wear a dress that resembled ones that were worn during the Victorian times. She held a parasol, a pretty expensive looking one, in fact.
"Who are you?"
"Just a 17 year-old girl."
"But you don't look like-"
He silenced himself as he saw that she was staring at him angrily, almost murderous. It seemed that this 'girl' was age-conscious.
"Anyway, I've come to here to say that I'm going to merge two worlds together."
"WHAT?!" He gasped, surprised and shocked. "IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!"
"Are you questioning my power?"
"It's not that. It's because-"
"Wait for tomorrow." With that, the girl opened a weird-looking and suggestive portal before stepping inside. "Have fun tomorrow~!" She called out before the portal closed.
"I wonder. What does she mean by 'fun'?"
He just laughed. He set the chair back to its original position. He sat on it again but this time, another surprise greeted him.
"My, my...your past was surely mysterious." Another voice caused Hiroshi to fall over, again.
"Why do people keep appearing in mysterious ways?!"
"Don't worry. This will be the first and last time that I will show myself to you." It appeared that this girl was also as weird as the last one. She wore the almost the same kind of clothes the previous girl wore. Her hair was short and blue but what crept Hiroshi out were her eyes. They were almost bloodlust, as if they wanted to kill him. She also had wings that seemed to resemble a bat.
"What's your purpose here?"
"I have come to tell you of your fate. Since the scarlet moon appeared, I know there will be a major event that will happen." She said, before sitting on his bed. "By any chance, did you see an old hag pass by?"
"Old hag? The yellow haired one?"
She nodded slightly.
"Yeah. I've seen her. She recently left before you got here."
The girl sighed in frustration. "Really? That girl is so mischievous, doing things on all her own without thinking."
"By the way, what did you mean by 'tell me of my fate.' "
"Oh yes. I've noticed your past and I've taken a curious liking to it. So, I've decided to alter your fate. You're going to have to deal with it on your own." She said, standing and walking towards the dark part of his room.
"Wait..." He called out but he was too late. Before he could stand up, she disappeared into the darkness.
"I wonder...what is my fate?" He just laughed sheepishly. He stood up, moved the chair back to its place and he moved towards his bed. Feeling really sleepy, Hiroshi lied down on his bed, tucked under the sheets and, in a few minutes, fell immediately asleep.
Meanwhile,
Ami was outside the door, talking to someone on the phone.
'Everything is set. Just give the word and you can move in anytime you please.'
"Is that so?" The person on the other end replied.
'Yes.'
"Does he still have the Mitsu?"
'Yes. It got stronger this time of the year.'
"Really?"
'Yes. It's harder to resist this time around.'
'My goddess, can I ask something?'
"You may."
'Do you love Hiroshi-kun?'
The other person on the end of the line giggled. "Is there any other answer?"
Ami laughed. 'Nope. I was just asking to make sure.'
"I will move in tomorrow."
'As you wish.'
"Goodbye, for now."
The phone hung up as Ami stared into the scarlet moon, her ears and tails appearing out of nowhere. "How long will I have to wait until I can have you?"
