Chapter 1
A clap of thunder rang out causing Sylva to flinch. A torrent of rain cascaded down around her as flash lit the sky illuminating the outlines of the trees above. Sylva ran through the underbrush trying to find shelter from this storm, the only thing that had her out here in the first place was because she had to get food for herself, her mother and her sisters.
Sylva's brown fur was drenched and clung to her skin almost uncomfortably. Her ears were folded flat against her head to minimize how much fur snagged on branches as she passed. The bushes and trees were blurs as she darted past, as a Linoone she was at least able to move faster than most which aided in getting her to her destination.
Another bolt of lightning lanced across the sky followed by a piercing howl. Sylva froze as the sound hit her ears, the howl of a Manectric. When several more joined the first and multiple bolts of lightning seemed to strike the ground in a clearing ahead of her her heart almost skipped a beat out of fear. Cold, wet, hungry and now she had to deal with predators. Being careful not not to make any noise the rain wouldn't drown out she inched forward. When an unfamiliar sound reached her her ears perked up. It sounded like a growl but like no Manectric she'd ever heard before, the Manectric howled again and she heard that same growl though it came as a sort of shriek this time.
Sylva started crawling forward curious now. After a few steps she stopped and shook her head. No, no, no! You can't go checking out every strange noise you hear during a storm like this! Another clap of thunder and she took another step forward. Arceus your an idiot! Unable stop herself she crept a little closer. Stop there are Manectric that way! STOP! Another growling shriek filled the air followed by an explosion and a pained howl from a Manectric. Now her curiosity got the best of her and she moved through the brush into the clearing.
There were three Manectric, one of them lay prone before a fourth figure. A bolt of lightning struck one of the Manectric and as a spark ran across its mane it shot an attack at the fourth figure. The light revealed purple fur with strange yellow spots that Sylva had never seen before. As she watched she got to thinking, the Manectric were oblivious to her presence and she had the element of surprise, she could help whoever the Manectric were attacking!
The Manectric loved thunderstorms like this because they attracted the lightning strikes and if they got hit it gave them a huge boost in power. The strange pokemon charged the Manectric standing nearest to it, as it moved its long tail began to glow purple. The Manectric also charged an attack and launched a bolt of lightning at its attacker. The lightning struck and burned flesh and fur but the strange pokemons attack still made its mark sending the Manectric sprawled under one of the trees. A clap of thunder and a massive flash marked a lightning strike in the branches above the Manectric and in spite of being soaked the three limb caught fire and fell from the trunk it grew from. A brief yelp and a wet crunch was all that escaped the Manectric as the massive limb landed.
Now there was only one Manectric left standing and it howled in rage as its maw sparked as it ran towards the one who ended its companions. Sylva didn't even think as she bolted out from her cover and intercepted the charging Manectric. Before it could react she swept her claws across the ground throwing mud into the Manectrics eyes. Normally it would have been sand but the rain only left sod and mud but it worked just as well. The strange pokemon was standing behind her now, she turned to see its tail was glowing again but it faded in an instant as the pokemon was hit by a random thunder attack launched by Manectric. It growled as it tried to clear the mud from its eyes but the rain and its wet fur were al sot as bad as the mud itself.
While the Manectric was distracted Sylva turned to lead the strange pokemon away but she gasped when she saw a large burn covering its chest. Most of its body was burned from the Manectrics attacks and it all finally caught up with it and now the pokemon lay in the mud unconscious. A quick glance showed the Manectric still trying to clear its eyes and Sylva pulled the strange pokemon away by the scruff of its neck. It was heavier than she expected but she got it moving though she was dragging it through the mud.
Sylva dragged the pokemon until the Manectric was out of sight and as time passed by she assumed that it wasn't interest in them a anymore. Sylva almost immediately started berating herself, why did she help this pokemon? She didn't even know what it was and she put her neck on the line to save it.
After several minutes of dragging the pokemon away from the Manectric Sylva found one of the older and larger trees, it had grown slightly raised off the ground leaving its massive roots exposed. It only took her a few seconds to dig out a decent borrow for her and the other pokemon to fit it because the rain had loosened the soil. The outer layers of dirt were typically consistent of thick mud but as she got deeper under the tree the mud turned into normal moist soil that you'd find a few inches beneath the surface at any rate. The dirt was a welcome switch from the thick mess that caked between her claws.
After dragging the pokemon into the quickly wrought den Sylva quickly used the rainfall to wash off. Her fur and feet losing the weight of mud and dirt that clung to it was a welcome relief. Returning to the den she shook off the excess water and enjoyed the warmth this den provided. The ground was still bare but it was sturdy because of the tree roots, with a little time and maybe a days worth of digging this den would have been pretty nice. Not too bad if I do say so myself. Sylva thought as she examined her hurried work.
When her attention returned to the strange pokemon she was glad to see it had started to dry out though its coat was soiled from the mud. Burns covered its body and a large amount of its fur was singed or burned away from lightning. As she examined its injuries she blushed slightly as she discovered it was a he.
She also noted the details of what remained of his coat. His back and sides were a deep purple color as was the back of his neck and head, his belly, the insides of his legs and the bottom half of his head were all yellow and what she originally saw to be spots were actually misshaped rings that were yellow around the edges and purple at the center. His head bore mostly feline features like that of a Delcatty but this was nothing like one of those. His tail whack was also purple was also different, it was long and narrow but broadened into a crescent shape at the tip. All in all he was like nothing Sylva had ever seen before, and to think she considered leaving him to the Manectric.
That also explained why he had the misfortune of running into that pack of Manectric, anyone from here knew to stay out of the open during a thunderstorm when the Manectric would be out collecting the lightning strikes. That also explained why there were more than one attacking him, normally Manectric were a solitary species.
She knew his injuries were bad but with the weather so bad there was little she could do now, his breathing was slow and steady and none of his injuries were bleeding any more. For now it was safe to assume that he'd make it through the night. Now that she was almost dry Sylva decided not to worry until morning, curling up into a ball she fell asleep unable to shake the concern for this stranger. Â
When morning came Sylva immediately checked her charge, with the dawning light she was able to make out more of his features which included a pained grimace. Most of his burns were focused on his chest, front legs, and shoulders from taking the Manectric head on. Sylva had to get home but she couldn't just leave him here alone and he showed no sign of waking up anytime soon.
Making a decision Sylva left the den to find what she needed, taking a closer look at the tree she'd burrowed under she was thrilled at her luck. A large sitrus tree loomed overhead bearing ripe fruit. Putting her claws to use Sylva climbed the thick trunk and knocked several of the large berries from their branches, satisfied by the dull thump they made on impact. Now for the strangers injuries, he was covered in burns but they were caused by electric attacks so did she need cheri berries for paralysis or rawst berries for burns? Both were relatively easy to find and she dragged them back on a large leaf in a heap. The whole process took her almost an hour and her mother would be irritated enough by the fact that she'd been gone the whole night. Leaving the cheri, rawst, and a couple sitrus berries inside the den for him if he woke up and rolled the rest of the sitrus onto the leaf to drag back home.
Before she left Sylva dug up several clumps of grass and covered up the entrance to the den leaving a small hole large enough to let sunlight filter through so if he woke up while she was gone he'd know he wasn't trapped. Satisfied that she'd done the most she could for him she turned to leave dragging the leaf in her jaws. Please be safe while I'm gone.
Sylva had to cross a considerable distance before her family's den came into view. It was dug out of a trees roots just like the one she made for the stranger only the entrance to theirs was blocked by a large tree limb. Three other Linoone were basking in the sun near the entrance, Sylva let out a weary sigh before continuing to drag the leaf of food the last few yards.
"Your late." One of the Linoone said when she noticed Sylva's approach.
"I'm sorry mother, I got caught in that storm and there were-"
"Whatever, at least you remembered to bring us something to eat." The older Linoone said as she moved to the leaf. "Would you mind clearing the den while we eat?"
"Yes mother." Sylva replied as turned to the large branch blocking the den. As she stepped forward her sisters passed, both glared at her and one added; "About time you showed up." in a low growl.
Taking a part of the limb in her jaws Sylva gave it a firm tug causing it to slide a few inches. Rising on her hind legs Sylva lashed at the limb using slash bringing the limb to smaller mor manageable pieces. It only took her a few moments to move it all to the creek that flowed by their den a few meters away through a row of high bushes. Returning to the now open den she used her tail to sweep out smaller twigs and other debris that had blown into the hole before the limb fell. Their den was significantly larger than the one she dug for the stranger and extended under the entire tree allowing room for them and several more if the need ever arose.
Sylva's mother and siblings had returned to their basking as she worked and Sylva's mother, lifted her head to examine Sylva's work. "That should be good now go wash up, your filthy from staying out last night, and go ahead and start on getting dinner once your done."
Sylva agreed and then returned to the creek for a good bath shooing a few Surskit from her favorite spot farther upstream. There was a drop about three feet high that poured pure, clean water into the creek that ran passed the den. Using the falls as a shower she meticulously checked her fur and was surprised how much she missed the previous night though she had tried to be quick because of the rain. The cool water ran over her head and back washing any dirt and filth from her fur leaving her clean and refreshed when she finished.
Satisfied that her coat was as clean as it was going to get Sylva jumped out of the creek and shook off sighing contently as the noonday sun warmed her skin. It only took her a few more minutes to dry and then she started to head back to check on the stranger. Once she put a fair amount of distance between herself and home she burst into a sprint. The thought of something finding the small den while was unconscious frightened her only causing her to go faster.
When Sylva found the sitrus tree a chill crept up her spine when she saw the den was open but she relaxed when she noticed the grass was knocked outward and not in meaning he had come out. Still concerned that he would need help she moved closer and saw that he was laying just inside the entrance. A twig snapped under her paw as she moved forward making his ears perk up. The stranger woke with a start and tried to stand baring his teeth and growling a warning at her when he saw who made the noise. He tried to keep pressure off of his front left paw, Sylva saw most of that leg was covered in an angry red burn though it seemed to look better.
In his haste to get to his feet he didn't have time to right himself and put to much weight on the paw making him sway for a moment and hiss in pain. Sylva tried to help him but he only snarled at her. "Stay...away..." He said wearily.
"I'm trying to make sure your alright." Sylva said calmly to assure him. Again she stepped forward to help and this time he snapped at her repeating his threat. His entire form shuddered from trying to stay standing but his legs gave out and he hit the wall beside him less than gently. He arched his neck whimpering in pain. "Please let me help you!" Sylva pleaded.
His nose twitched as she spoke and he let out a long sigh. "Your the one who helped me last night." He spoke to himself more than to her but she took it as incentive to come closer. He tried to stand again to walk back into the den but he stumbled. Thankfully Sylva stepped between him and the wall before he could hit it again. He supported some of his weight on her to keep pressure off of his injured paw and tried to walk back inside to a spot she saw cleared at the back. He laid down as gently as he could but stayed sprawled out because of the pain it caused him to curl up. "Thank you... for all your help."
Sylva was happy to see he had eaten, hopefully they would help him heal faster. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
A toothy grin crossed his muzzle though it was replaced by a grimace as he shifted slightly. "If you could make all of these go away that would be great." He commented dryly. "Other than that I'm ok for now."
"Okay..." She looked him over, the berries definitely helped. the burns were all scabbed over now though most of them had cracked from him trying to move. "Do you mind if I ask you a question."
He sighed again but not out of annoyance. "No, I don't mind."
"What are you? I've never seen anything like you before."
"You mean what do humans call me?"
"Yes, I'm a Linoone." She told him what she was hoping he'd understand.
"Some humans have called me a Leperdas, others have called me Liepard, it all depends on the human." He said opening his eyes to look at her. "Now do you mind if I ask you a question."
Sylva shook her head.
"Well Linoone, do you have a name?"
"Sylva." She replied. "My name is Sylva."
"Sylva." He said, almost savoring her name. "Well Sylva its nice to meet you, my name is Linus."
Sylva nodded at him before lying down beside him. "How do you feel?"
Another grin appeared. "I don't think I've ever been so sore."
"Oh...sorry."
"Don't be, its not your fault." They were silent for a moment after that and oddly enough Sylva found herself blushing slightly. "I can't thank you enough for your help last night, I'd be finished if you didn't come."
"Its alright, I didn't even do that much."
"Didn't do that much?" He scoffed, shooting her a skeptical glare. "You did a lot, you saved my life, you dragged me here alone, you made sure I had what I needed to recover and made sure I'd be safe even though I was a complete stranger. And then you stopped that... whatever it was -"
"Manectric." Sylva corrected.
"You stopped that Manectric who would have certainly killed me, you saved my life Sylva, thank you." Linus's gave fell to the ground around him and then out the mouth of the den. "You saved my life even though you didn't know who or what I was."
Sylva's blush deepened as he spoke. "Where did you come form?"
"I was captured by humans who brought me here." Sylva was about to ask another question before he continued. "Well not here, I was on a boat when I escaped and fell overboard when the storm hit. When I washed up on shore I headed inland knowing my home was nowhere near any shorelines. During the storm I came across one of those Manectric who seemed to be collecting lightning, it tried attacking me and I ran. As it chased me the other two joined in along the way, once I got tired of running I stopped to fight which was stupid because I had no idea they were electric-types. Once two of them were out of the way I had received several injuries and the last one was sure to finish me off... but then you jumped in and..." His voice trailed off as he finished.
"Your welcome." Sylva said warmly, now she knew why she'd never seen his kind before; he was from across the sea if he was brought her by boat. "I'm going to find you some more food, the berries I gave you have already started ti help." Sylva said as she stood up.
"Thank you." Was his only reply as he watched her leave.
Again Sylva collected berries on a large leaf to make moving them easier. It was almost dark by the time Sylva left and she made sure to leave him the berries she picked him. Making sure he was alright for the night she headed back to her family's den after telling Linus she'd be back in the morning.
The sun was on its last leg by the time Sylva got home and her sisters enjoyed the food she brought. Her mother on the other hand turned to Sylva with a quizzical look. "Where have you been?"
Sylva was taken aback by the question. "Wha-what do you mean?"
Mirana's nose twitched as she spoke. "You smell funny. Where have you been."
Sylva berated herself inwardly, she was probably smelling Linus from when he had used her to support himself. She didn't let her expression change and told her she hadn't done anything different. Her mother seemed satisfied with the answer for now and returned to eating leaving Sylva alone.
Sylva had already eaten so she just went to her part of the den to sleep. The next morning Sylva woke before the sun had risen or her family had awaken so she decided to leave before they did. She hurried to gather their food and left it just inside the den so they'd be alright for the better part of the day, she knew they wouldn't care as long as she had done her morning chore.
Once that was done Sylva left for Linus' den just as the sun started to peek over the horizon. The warmth the dawn provided Sylva was so soothing, she would have liked to just lie down and bask in it but she had to make sure Linus was ok.
The sun was completely over the horizon by the time she saw the opening under the tree. She didn't expect him to be up and moving so it didn't bother her to at first but when she look inside the opening a gasp escaped her. He was gone, the den was empty! "Linus?"
Frantic, she started searching for him, what if something got him in the middle of the night. No, that couldn't be right there would have been some sign of a struggle in the dirt and he was in no shape to just up and leave on his own. "Linus!"
No answer came so she took a deep breath through her nose hoping to catch a scent. She did and followed it out and around the den, as she rounded the tree the scent went off away from the den and Sylva darted after the scent until she almost collided with the Leperdas. "Whoa... what happened?" He said out of surprise and stumbling slightly as he made a bad step backwards.
"I thought something had happened to you." Sylva answered, panting slightly from running and worry.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He said starting forward again. "I just got thirsty is all."
Sylva sighed a breath of relief and turned to follow him. Linus had to hobble around so as to minimize the use of his bad leg but as bad as his limp was he still got around pretty well. Like the previous day the berries had an obvious affect on his injuries. Fewer scabs cracked when he moved and Sylva saw more purple fur peeking through his scabs here and there.
Sylva wondered how much of his injuries would scar, as it was he was recovering nicely, maybe he wouldn't have to deal with scarring. "Your out here earlier than I expected."
"I woke up early, I was worried about you."
"Well, I'm still in one piece... for now." She could tell the last part was meant as a joke by his teasing tone.
"I'm glad your doing good." Sylva said, she looked up and saw that the den was already in sight. "Have you eaten anything yet?"
lines shook his head. "No, it took me long enough to find water, I haven't had a chance to find any food other than the berries that hang over our den which are just a little to high for me right now."
"Alright, if you give me a few minutes I'll be right back."
"Thank you." Linus said as Sylva turned away to gather some food. Finding yet another large leaf she piled on a few cheri and rawst berries still unto sure of which was helping him more. Dragging her quarry back to the den she climbed the tree again to add some sitrus berries to her collection.
After bringing the fruit inside Sylva and Linus ate quietly. As they ate Sylva started thinking about their conversation on the way back to the den.
"Are you alright?"
"Hmm?" Sylva's head shot up when he spoke.
"Are you okay? You look a little down." He had stopped eating already, now his attention was on her.
"Oh, I was just thinking about what you said earlier." Sylva said not noticing how her expression darkened.
"Did I say something that upset you?"
Now she saw what was on his mind. "No, no, its nothing like that..."
Linus apparently wasn't satisfied with her answer and persisted. "Then what was it?"
"You said 'our den'... It just made me wonder if you... had plans for me." Sylva confessed, her cheeks coloring as she spoke.
"No I didn't, I just thought since you made it I shouldn't go saying its my den." He said, a smirk lightening his expression as he spoke. He sounded relieved that she wasn't angry at him.
"I see." Sylva also felt relieved. She was also glad he gave her credit for the den, her mother and sisters could of cared less that she had dug a hole for some stranger. "How are you feeling."
"A little better, the berries help a lot."
Their conversation took up most of the day and when it was a few hours after noon Sylva decided it was time to gather food for the evening meal after leaving some for Linus. After that Sylva made a habit out of waking up early in the morning to spend the day with Linus. In the following weeks his injuries slowly healed and his fur grew back. He slowly lost his limp and as soon as he was able to walk on his own he even started helping Sylva collect food for himself and for her to take home. During that time they found more and more to talk about, and during that whole time she found it harder and harder to leave him at night.
Sylva thoroughly enjoyed having someone to spend her days with as far as she knew no one noticed anything. However she was proven wrong one evening when she left Linus for the evening. "So who was that?"
Sylva stopped in her tracks, the smile she had from having his company faded in an instant. She turned and right behind her stood one of her sisters. "Krissa?"
"Well, who was it?" krissa persisted not changing the topic.
"Who was who?" Sylva asked sheepishly hoping the coy act would work.
"You know who! The funny looking one with the spots, who was it?"
Well that didn't work. "None of your business." Sylva answered, lowering her head to pull the leaf again. As she walked a musky smell reached her nose causing her to roll her eyes. Krissa was in heat. Sylva hated it when either of her sister were in heat, they did everything they could to annoy her like now for example.
"I wonder what mom will think when she finds out you've been spending the past few weeks with a male."
Spoiled brat! Sylva gasped when the thought crossed her mind, she'd been annoyed with her sisters before but this was the first time she'd ever had hostile thoughts like that...
"You know they're just using you." Linus said.
"No they're not-"
"Then why don't they do a thing for themselves."
"They don't- I mean they do things for themselves!"
"Like?" He gave her a skeptical look.
"Well they... they..." As Sylva thought about it she realized he was right, they almost never left the den and the den itself she took care of. Even after the storm they were to busy basking in the sun to clear the entrance to the den when it only took her a few minutes on her own, they didn't even gather they're own food! Sylva sighed when she made the realization. "They don't..."
"I know your so used to doing what they ask you to do but you need to look at what they do for you, how they treat you. They need you not the other way around. They spoil themselves by having you do all their work."
...She realized then that he was right, they were using her and things like this were just a ploy to keep her subservient. Krissa snickered to herself and walked in front of Sylva grinning smugly, she apparently thought Sylva's gasp meant she pushed the right button. "I'll tell her you know."
"You think I care what any of you think?" Sylva snapped. Krissa's triumphant grin vanished and took a step back as Sylva started forward again. Not giving up Krissa tried pushing a little harder.
"I wonder what he'll think of me?"
Sylvia shook her head. "He doesn't like you."
Krissa scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Sure he doesn't, your probably just saying that to keep me away."
"I'm serious, if you don't believe me go find out for yourself."
In response Krissa turned her nose up and turned back the way Sylva had come. "Maybe I will." Â Â as she walked she added; "We'll see what you think when I come home with your boyfriend."
Sylva didn't pay her any mind and continued home. Sylva saw Mia, her other sister, first as she approached their den. She said nothing but happily started eating. When Sylva's mother came out her eyes fixed on Sylva. "Where's Krissa?"
"I don't know." Mia said between mouthfuls.
"I saw her on my way back, I don't know where she went though." Sylva lied hoping to keep Linus a secret as long as possible.
After they ate they had settled in for the night when they heard something moving in the bushes outside. Sylva was the first to look. She wasn't very surprised to see Krissa, the fur on her cheeks matted from tears and her ears laid flat against her head. She sniffled when she looked up to see Sylva. For once Sylva actually enjoyed seeing her sister upset. "So how did it go." Now Sylva was the one sporting a smug grin.
Krissa only sulked as she went inside, when Sylva followed she saw her mother trying to sooth her. She shot Sylva a glare when she came into view. "What did you do?"
"Nothing, she's probably upset because someone told her no." Sylva answered. Again she couldn't help but grin as she teased. "So how did it go with Linus anyway."
The cat was already out of the bag so it didn't hurt that her mother knew now, if Krissa didn't tell  mother than she'd have to herself. "Who's Linus?"
Sylva was still a little reluctant to admit it but turned her head as she said; "A male... that I've been seeing."
"What do you mean 'that you've been seeing?'" Her mother asked angrily.
Sylva didn't answer which only served to make her mother angrier. "What did he do to your sister?!"
"He chased me away..." Krissa sniffled. "Sylva said he didn't like me and I didn't listen and when I tried talking to him he ran me off."
"You can't say I didn't warn you." Sylva added.
"You be quiet!" Her mother snapped. "I don't care who Linus is but your not to see him any more!"
"You can't be serious!" Again Sylva realized just how much of an influence she was on her, she had never been so defiant before.
"What did you say to me?" Her mother glared.
"You think you can tell me what to do all my life?" Sylva continued. "What so I can't be with him just because he won't take Krissa? Who do you think you are?" Sylva was crossing into dangerous territory now but still knowing what Linus had made her come to see was all starting to fuel her own anger.
Before she could react Sylva felt something lash across her cheek followed by the feeling of warm blood emanating from the wound. Her mothers slash bit into flesh and before the pain began to set in Sylva was knocked to the ground. "If you ever talk to me like that again or either me or your sisters see you with that male again I will kill you, do you understand?"
Tears formed in her eyes as she found herself nodding. "Its for your own good, the next thing you know you'll be wanting to mate with him." She continued. To mate with him... the thought had never crossed her mind before and she didn't entirely reject the idea now. Since she met him she'd felt an attachment to him and that only strengthened as time went on. Sylva's tears only fell harder as she thought about it, knowing now that she wasn't allowed to see him again.
Mia only stood on the sidelines not wanting to interfere while Krissa disappeared to her part of the den. After a moment her mother left her be and left her alone for the night.
Sylva woke up the next morning where her mother left her, as she felt something prod her tail her head shot up. Sylva felt the blood that caked her fur as it shifted from her movement. When she heard something sniffing she immediately stood and turned to face  whoever it was. It was another Linoone but its broader features marked it as a male. "Get away from me!"
She almost shrieked and the Linoone gave one last sniff. "Fine, your not the one I'm smelling anyway." He finished with a grin before creeping farther into the den.
Sylva wasted no time in leaving, her mother and sisters knew she always left when one of them was in heat. Mainly because she didn't want to listen to them procreate. What really sickened her was that they'd accept any male that was attracted by their scent, Sylva had always staved off any males that tried to have her because she didn't want to have the children of some random male.
She noticed she was on the way to Linus's den when she stopped and remembered her mothers threat, she looked back as she thought. Krissa would be busy with her suitor for the next week, and Mia and mother relished having a male around for however long that lasted.
She hated not being permitted to see him but she couldn't just stop going either. Throwing caution to the wind she bolted to Linus's den, even if it was only to say goodbye.
Sylva reached his den in a matter of minutes at top speed. Her tears started to fall again as she go closer. Before she went in she remembered that she hadn't washed the blood from her cheek. "Sylva?"
"Linus?" Sylva replied, her cheek instantly forgotten again. As the Leperdas rounded the corner of the entrance he stopped and stared at her cheek. She gasped in surprise when she saw a similar mark on his own. "What happened."
"Your sister refused to take no for an answer and got angry." Linus explained but he leaned closer to examine her own wound. "What happened to you?"
"My mother." Her tears started falling freely again as she nuzzled his shoulder, she couldn't help the attraction that she'd felt for him and feeling his soft fur comforted her greatly. As her cheek rubbed against his chest she remembered how when she first met him this fur was none existent and replaced by large burns. "I feel awful Linus, she doesn't want me to come here anymore."
Sylva sobbed into his chest fur, she loved him, thats what it came down to; she loved him. Linus tried to sooth her by leaning down and nuzzling her bloodied cheek. "I'm sorry."
After what felt like an eternity they laid down together simply enjoying each others touch. It was a long time before either spoke. When Sylva looked it was at least an hour past noon and she left not long after dawn. Finally Linus whispered in her ear. "I want to give you something."
His tone was low and caring and her ears perked up at the sound of his voice. She looked into his eyes, her brown meeting his green. "I need you to lie on your back and close your eyes alright? I think you'll enjoy this."
Reluctant at first she obeyed, rolling over and shutting her eyes for him. She felt him shift and stand which made her nervous for a second but that quickly passed she relaxed herself. In this position her legs were spread leaving herself exposed but she trusted him not to do anything like that to her. "Just relax." He told her.
After a moment Linus didn't do anything but a loud gasp escaped her as she felt his rough tongue across one of her teets. She was shocked that he would do that but the pleasure it gave her was to much to complain about. When his tongue lapped at her again she moaned at the sensation. He continued to tease her with his tongue, her nipples growing erect from arousal which only gave him more to work with. He licked her, nipped her, anything his mouth could do to her he did. Her ecstasy was only heightened by the fact that he went from one nipple to the next, slowly moving down her body.
She was to lost in his actions to notice that he was getting closer and closer to her sex, her lips moist with arousal. As he lavished his attention on her last teet he stopped for a moment leaving her panting and desperate for more of that amazing feeling. She could care less that she was blushing but she was very curious as to why he stopped. He didn't say anything so she stayed as she was since he didn't say he was finished.
After a moment she felt his warm breath between her legs and her blush deepened. His tongue lashed out against her sensitive flesh eliciting a loud moan, it was almost a scream of pleasure but he lapped at her folds time and again. His tongue worked at her labia slowly tracing her slit gather the moisture that was forming. As time went by he grew bolder and applied more pressure and again she screamed when his tongue slid into her folds and dragged across her clit. Her legs kicked wildly as he continued to pleasure her but she didn't hit Linus or slow him down.
Linus kept pressing deeper until his nose pressed against her sex. As he reached his limit Linus  lined his nose so that if he shook his head side to side his nose would tickle her sensitive clit while his tongue massaged her inner passage. The combined stimulation did its toll as she moaned and kicked wildly, completely lost in the throws of passion. Finally she couldn't take any more and screamed at the top of her lungs. Her arousal flowed freely and flooded Linus's mouth which he drank eagerly as much as he could.
Another eternity passed as Sylva's first orgasm wracked her frame, violent tremors shook her form as she struggled to regain her breath. While she recovers Linus came to lay by her side again, his face drenched in her ejaculate. Not caring for the mess on his face she nuzzled him with profound abandon. "Oh Linus, I love you so much."
"I love you too... but you have to go. I hate it as much as you but you can't stay, your sister knows I'm here and if they start looking for you they'll start here."
Sylva was to tired to move immediately so they remained in their embrace for a while longer, Sylva savored every moment of it...
... It was almost two weeks after Sylva and Linus shared that wonderful experience and it only served to depress her more. She did as her mother ordered and stayed away from Linus from then on out. Krissa's heat passed and Sylva was again able to sleep soundly at night without having to listen to that males administrations. Once her heat passed he had no other reason to stay and left without a word. In the days that followed Krissa's appetite grew somewhat. After two weeks her pregnancy became more apparent has her midsection widened. She eventually started eating enough for two which only gave Sylva more work when foraging. Mia and mother lavished her with attention in the meantime, they were ecstatic that she had gotten pregnant. Krissa also seemed to have forgotten Linus in the time.
It didn't matter much to Sylva though, her thoughts were on Linus and how he pleased her. Sylva worked diligently at her foraging to keep her thoughts on anything but that but finding food could only distract her for so long. Her days were long and lonely and her memory suffered  an almost painful refresher as another massive storm swept across her home. Unlike the one she found Linus in this storm lasted several days with winds and rain stronger than anything they had ever seen before.
After three days it passed leaving trees felled, limbs scattered the landscape, but the sunlight was pure and warm. During those three days Sylva became aware of a dull ache below her stomach which worried her. Her heat was stronger now like the storm, stronger than it had ever been. While the storm reminded her of finding Linus, her heat reminded her of his last gift to her, it also kindled a desire for more, to feel him deeper inside of her, claiming her like no male had had the privilege to do before.
Sylva was charged with clearing the debris near the den which kept her mind occupied for the time being. Getting everything to her mothers satisfaction only took a few hours and by then it was time to gather food again.
Sylva was reminded again of her heat by a throb inside her abdomen and by the swollen form her sex had taken. Sylva sighed at the irritation, her thoughts focused narrowly on her love. She just kept walking not paying attention to where she was going, just walking inattentively. She was so distracted she almost hit a tree and then she noticed that she didn't know where she was. The forest here hadn't been as badly damaged but there weren't any fruit trees either. When she heard something pass through the bushes she whipped around to face whatever it was.
There was nothing there. "Hello?" Sylva could barely manage more than a whisper. The last thing she wanted was someone pestering her because of her heat. When no answer came she decided to back track until she came to familiar surroundings. As she turned to walk bushes rustled again somewhere nearby. "Hello?"
"Who's there?" Came a reply, Sylva gasped and called out.
"Linus?!"
"Sylva?!"
She bolted in a heartbeat, she knew she wasn't supposed to see him but at the moment she didn't care. Underbrush passed her faster than she cared to notice and soon the exotic pokemon came into view. She was blinded by purple fur as she nuzzled his chest affectionately.
"What are you doing out here?"
"I wasn't paying attention. She admitted.
He chuckled at her answer and nuzzled her other cheek. "Its good to see you."
"Its good to see you too." She replied almost overjoyed and smiled as she felt him lick her cheek. She still ached and then she remembered her mothers words. ... the next thing you know you'll be wanting to mate with him. She was right, especially now that she was in heat, she wanted Linus to be hers. In spite of her mothers threats she couldn't help herself. "Linus?"
"Yes?" They were still sharing their embrace so they did little more than whisper.
"I want you to be my mate, please."
Linus was silent for a moment and during that time Sylva feared he would decline. "Sylva I-"
"Please Linus, I need you so badly. There isn't anyone else in the world that makes me feel like you do. Please, I need you."
"Are you sure thats what you want though? What if you get pregnant?"
Sylva was shocked that he'd ask such a thing. "I'd want nothing less." She confessed.
Linus was quiet again but after a minute he licked her cheek again. "Alright I'll-" He was cut off as she shifted her head so that her nose touched his, their lips locked. Through the kiss her tongue mingled with his. The moment seemed to go on forever but eventually the need to breath took over and the kiss was broken. As Sylva tried to regain her breath Linus looked her over. "You know, I never can thank you enough for saving me. Being your mate would be a privilege."
Sylva's cheeks colored at his complement but her heat was urging her forward. She nuzzled him again before turning around for him. She wanted nothing less to be taken then and there, her arousal had already left her swollen sex glistening with moisture. She knew she was being hasty but she had to have that feeling again.
Now that she displayed herself for him she waited for him to make the next move. She gasped as she felt his cold nose against her heated flesh, her labia spreading slightly expecting to be pierced. They action was met by his rough tongue which made her gasp loudly. His tongue pistoned in and out of her sex, the action had instant results as Sylva's peak began to rise. Her inner walls clenched at the intruding organ trying in vain to grasp it. His tongue passed through her vice uninhibited by her pulsing inner flesh.
Sylva thought she was going to burst like she did the first time but just before it happened Linus stopped. Confused Sylva looked back and saw him nuzzle her flank lovingly before mounting her. His forelegs wrapped around her middle as his head came to rest right between her shoulders. She caught a brief glimpse of his pink member extending from his furry sheath and gasped in pleasure when she felt something prodding her entrance.
Again waiting to be penetrated her lower lips spread slightly and the need was satisfied a second time as Linus made his mark in the first thrust. Unlike his tongue Linus' member moved slowly into her pulsing core stopping at an unseen barrier. Again Linus nuzzled her. "Sylva I really do love you."
With a swift thrust he pierced her virginity and hilted himself. Her entire body shuddered from the sudden pain and she gasped in response. They remained like that for a while allowing for her to adjust before he started to withdraw. Her fluids aided the process as he slowly pulled out, his pink flesh rubbing every part of her canal as he did.
When only his tip remained inserted he pushed in again this time a little faster only to be slowed by a spasm that caused her whole form to quake. A low moan escaped her lips as she leaned her head back against his with her eyes closed. When Linus hilted again he paused before repeating the move over again...and again... and again.
Setting a steady pace he thrust into her depths as she gasped and moaned in pleasure. Every time her muscles clenched at him he'd give a groan in response. Each thrust pushed a small amount of her fluids out of her sex and onto their coats which had now become soaked. A wet squishing noise filled the air with every push inward while a gasp or moan followed every pull out. "Ah, Linus." Sylva moaned. "Please... make me yours."
Each time he hilted he felt his tip brush against her cervix which only added to her pleasure. Whatever pain she felt when he first started was long since forgotten as pleasure coursed through every inch of her body. His intruding member brushed every pleasure spot her sex had to offer and her muscles began a to squeeze rhythmically in tune with her heart beat. The rhythmic pulsing was causing Linus to near climax just as his thrust was bring Sylva closer to hers.
Hoping to release at the same time Linus redoubled his efforts and thrust into her core even faster, her folds clinging to his member each time he pulled out causing her nether lips to stretch outwards with each pull. Their heartbeats were perfectly in sync as their mating progressed. Eventually Sylva started to press back into him with each thrust which added to both of their experiences.
Climax was becoming inevitable as a massive tingling sensation grew to to unparalleled heights in Sylva's depths, Linus too was very, very close and drawing nearer with each thrust. Slamming into her one final time he let out a loud groan as his seed flooded her insides, filling her womb. The feeling of his fluids filling her core made her heat fade and the added pleasure practically threw her over the edge. She screamed in ecstasy as her juices sprayed around his embedded member and further soaked their furs. The muscles in her legs were exhausted from her ordeal and she collapsed forward with him still on her back. The sudden drop made his tip drive deeper, penetrating her cervix and releasing several more spurts of seed. This made Sylva scream once more in wild passion while Linus groaned on top of her.
His seed filled her to the brim but her womb held every bit of it inside. Their climaxes took a forever to fade and by the time it was gone completely they had drifted to sleep as they were, both of them to content to even dream of moving...
Sylva was awakened by bright sunlight in her eyes, she tried to stand but Linus was still on her back. Her cheeks colored as she realized he was still hilted inside of her. The rising sun was pleasantly warm against her fur. She laid her head down and smiled enjoying the opportunity to bask... "Sunrise!" Sylva almost jumped as she realized how long they'd been asleep. When she asked Linus to be her mate it wasn't even dusk yet. She almost panicked, could their afterglow have actually made them sleep that long?
Linus stirred from her outburst and raised hiss head wearily. "Good morning." He said licking her neck. Her panic was forgotten for a moment as he spoke.
"Good morning." Sylva answered.
"Whats wrong?" Linus asked sincerely.
"I've been gone all night, I have to get back soon." As she spoke he stood up so she could get to her own feet, she nuzzled his neck before looking around. "Do you know how to get back?"
"This way." Linus turned and ran, Sylva followed with little incident, it only took them a few minutes to get to his den. Now that she knew where she was she looked to her mate to say her goodbyes. Linus nuzzled her knowing she had to leave.
"Thank you for everything." She said returning his affection. She found it a little amusing that she was mirroring his words from when they first met.
After she left Sylva walked towards her family's den she decided to take a detour to the creek to wash up, her fur was matted in her most intimate area from the previous night and she didn't want to deal with her mother or sisters bugging her. She heard the falling water before she saw it. She washed off quickly and took the time to dry before making the last leg home.
When the larger den came into view Sylva was surprised to see four Linoone standing at the entrance. When she came within sight of them she noted that one was a male, a different male than the one that came for Krissa. "You didn't tell me you had another sister." He said as Sylva walked into the den.
When none of the girls would say anything he turned to follow Sylva. "No matter, at least I was right about one of you being in heat."
Sylva had curled up to rest when the male padded up to her. "Go away." She grumbled through the fur of her tail.
"Now now, thats no way to talk to your mate is it?"
Sylva scoffed at him. "You are not my mate."
Sylva looked him over and noted his fur was slightly more coarse than her own bur aside for his broader, more masculine features he was just like a one else in her family. Clearly, however, she wasn't going to find any sleep with him hovering over her so Sylva got up to leave.
"Where do you think your going?"
"Away from you." Sylva said simply.
"Is that so?" He said following behind her. When he raised a paw to her flank she spun around and growled at him.
"I said go away!" However he only murred and smiled at her.
"Fiesty." He said. "I like that in a female."
"Well then you better find yourself another."
"Or you can just get used to me being here." He said putting a paw on her flank again. This time she swiped at him and knocked him back. He shook off the attack and growled at her now. Â "You know, playing hard to get is one thing but just being a bitch is another."
This time he tackled her bring her to the ground, when she fell he stood over top of her. She was on her back and her swollen sex was exposed like when Linus- No! Not with this male! Sylva brought her legs under his stomach and kicked up making him flip over her and land on his back. He landed with an "oof" as she rolled over and ran out of the den.
He was right behind her and as she quickly found out he was faster than her. Tackling her to the ground again and pinned her. "Now, how about we just get this over with." He said as he lowered himself onto her. She did her best to struggle but he was already to low down to get her back legs up again.
Sylva gasped when she felt him pushing at her entrance. Before she could protest he shoved himself into her driving the breath from her lungs and bringing tears to her eyes. From the corner of her eye she could see the blurry outlines of her mother and sisters idly standing by. "Please stop!" She sobbed. "You can't-"
He was suddenly thrown off of her, the force of it pull him free of her depths and making her roll over onto her feet. While the male Linoone was trying to catch the breath that was forced from his lungs Sylva looked back to see what had done it. Purple and yellow fur was all she had to see before she curled up in pain. The tears in her eyes were now tears of relief. "Linus." She choked.
He heard her but his attention was on the Linoone. "If you touch my mate again I will kill you!" He growled as the other male got to his feet still taking bug gulps of air. Sylva managed to get to her feet and nuzzled his chest, she was overjoyed that her lover was here and right now his soft fur was her sanctuary. She wanted to be as close to him as she could be, as she tried to find solace in her mate more tears leaked onto his coat.
"Your...mate?" He chuckled as he said it. "Look pal... if you haven't noticed... shes a little out of your...league... Besides, I saw her first." He said between gasps but when he saw Sylva his expression changed from anger to surprise.
"Your mate?" Sylva's mother asked angrily. "You little bitch, I tell you to stay away from him and you mate with him?" Mia and Krissa only stood by not sure what to say.
"You shut up!" Linus yelled at the older Linoone.
"Who do you think you are!" She persisted.
Ignoring her Linus leaned down by Sylva. "Are you okay?"
"I don't think I've ever been so sore." Sylva mused bringing a grin to both their faces.
"Can you walk? I'm not leaving you here."
"Oh your not leaving are you." The male Linoone said jumping at Linus trying to bite him. Before Linoone was even halfway to the Leperdas Linus charged a nigh slash in his tail. Right when Linoone was about to make contact Linus swung his tail sending Linoone flying several feet away.
"Sylva, you get away from him right now!"
Sylva managed to compose herself enough to speak to her mother and shot her a glare. "No, I'm staying with Linus."
"If you leave-"
"Don't you dare threaten her!" Linus growled.
Her mother was taken aback, she'd never had to deal with a male challenging her authority before and so didn't know how to proceed. Linus helped Sylva take a few steps forward before she told him she could walk on her own. "I'm leaving and I don't plan on coming back." Remembering everything Linus told her about her family using her had been right, they used her so they didn't have ti do anything and then when she needed help they stood by and watched.
Making sure they weren't followed every now and again Linus kept his focus on his mate, she was obviously in some pain but refused any more help. "Are you sure you want to do this?"
She looked up at him and nodded. "Yes. I'm your mate and I'm staying with you like I should have before."
"We're going to have to find a new place to make our den since they know where our old one was." Again Sylva nodded again. Once they got to Linus's den they decided to keep going until nightfall where they dug a new den into a hillside a few miles away. Sylva was exhausted from everything that had happened that day, Linus was doing everything he could to keep her comfortable and for the first time they curled up to sleep together that night. " I love you." Linus said licking her cheek.
Sylva nuzzled him back. "I love you too."
