"I... I have to get away... I can't let them get me..." I panted, running through the wilderness as fast as my little legs could carry me. Tears were streaming down my face as I shoved my way past bushes and shrubs in order to escape. Tesla was my name, and I'd just watched my parents die in front of me, and whoever did it is immensely strong. My father and mother were both Aura Masters, and I had their power as well. Not as developed of course but it lay dormant within me, ready to be called upon.

Leaving behind the cosy Senra Town that I had spent my first 17 years in, I kept running into the darkness, never looking back, never slowing down, never pausing. I'd keep running until I collapsed, that way, they wouldn't catch me. 

After nearly a whole day of running, my fatigue was catching up with me, I tripped over a tree root and tumbled through the undergrowth, before slamming into a tree. The whole world span as I collapsed, and blacked out.

"Oh Arceus... My head..." I groaned as I came to. I was on my back in front of the tree I crashed into. I had a searing pain in my head, and as I rubbed my forehead, I realised there was dried blood on my hand. "Jeez..." I grumbled, clambering to my feet, only to collapse back to the ground. 

"Oh my Arceus!" Came a femenine voice from in front of me. I looked up to see a rather worried Ralts, looking straight at me. I growled at her and she shook with fear. "Who are you..." I snarled, pain coarsing through my body. "M-my n-name is M-Maya... P-please... I w-won't h-hurt you..." She replied, close to tears. I could see that she had already been crying, and I realised I had frightened her. 

"Ugh...." I groaned, clutching the wound on my head. Maya gasped and ran over to me, gently pressing her hands on my head. I could tell she meant me no harm, so I allowed her to touch me. To my surprise, her hands started to glow. My wound started to heal and all the blood disappeared from my skin. 

When she let go, she had a slightly happier look on her face. I carefully rubbed my paw over my head, and to my surprise, I felt no pain. I ran to a nearby puddle to look at my reflection, and the wound was completely gone. I then noticed that Maya had moved directly behind me, a look of curiosity on her face. I smiled and grabbed her before she could react, making her squeal in fright. I hugged her and kissed her cheek before standing her up again. A light blush spread across her young face as I smiled.

"What was that for?" She said, smiling a little. "Just as a thanks. I'm sorry for scaring you earlier Maya, I've just been through a lot recently." I explained. She nodded. "Me too... My parents were k-killed... Just a few hours ago..." She sobbed, tearing up again. "Really?!" I exclaimed, hugging her close. "M-mine too..." I sobbed as I hugged her. 

Maya looked up at me and put her arms around my waist, bursting into tears and pressing her face into my stomach. I hugged her and started crying as well. Before long, we had collapsed to our knees, just a bundle of sobbing. We didn't even notice as it started raining. 

A few minutes later, we were getting absolutely drenched in a torrential downpour. "Maya?" I said, regaining my composure. The cute Ralts looked up at me, still crying. "I'll get us someplace safe okay?" I told her. She nodded and let out a cute squeal as I lifted her off her feet and hugged her against my chest. A blush spread across her face as she stared at me. "Comfy?" I asked her, looking down at the adorable little girl I was cradling in my arms. "Mhmm!" She said, blushing and burying her face in my chest to stay warm. 

I started running through the rain, holding Maya tightly so I didn't drop her and so that my arms were protecting her from the brunt of the vicious rain and howling winds that ripped and tore at us, like a million Houndoom. Finally, after what seemed like forever, I found an opening below a huge tree that looked like a den. I poked my head in, and luckily, there was no-one inside. It was practically abandoned. "Okay Maya. I want you to wait here while I get us some food and bedding. Promise me you won't go anywhere." I told her as I gently laid her in the enclave. "I promise. But you never even told me your name!" She yelled as I was about to leave. "I'm Tesla." I grinned. 

Maya blushed. "That's such a cool name..." She smiled. "P-Please don't be long... I... I'm terrified of thunder and lightning..." She added, tearing up. "I promise Maya. I would never leave you alone." I said, kissing her hand, before running out into the forest.

After about half an hour, I was heading back to Maya. I had a huge leaf full of berries for us to eat, and a massive bundle of dried grass to use as a bed. I was almost to the tree, when I heard a blood-curdling scream. It was Maya.  I grabbed the leaf and sprinted to the tree, only to find a Poochyena climbing in the hollow. "Maya!!" I screamed, dropping the supplies and leaping in after him. 

I tackled the Poochyena against the wall, grabbed him and launched him out into the forest. Maya was against the back wall, crying. "Maya! Are you okay?!" I asked her. "Tesla!" She yelled, throwing herself at me and wrapping her arms around my chest. "That Poochyena attacked me while I was outside. I only went outside to see where you were Tesla, I swear." She sobbed into my chest. "It's okay Maya... Shhhh...." I said, stroking her hair. 

I then heard a snarling from the entrance of the enclave. The Poochyena was back. "You stay away from her!" I yelled as I jumped at him, rolling out into the forest with him. "Get off me!" The Poochyena growled, kicking me off him. "You touch her again, and I'll end you!" I snarled back. "Hehe... I'm gonna do a lot more than touch her..." He grinned. I then realised he was fully hard, his red member poking out of its sheathe. "You fucking dare..." I growled, getting angrier and angrier. I could feel my Aura surrounding me, my fury taking form as a bright blue protective energy shield. "This ends now!" I yelled, my eyes completely blue. I was going to destroy this horny piece of filth.

"As soon as I'm done with her, I'll claim you as well!" The Poochyena growled, surging towards me. I ran at him and unleashed a flurry of punches, every single one finding their mark. The Poochyena grunted and whined with every hit. I smashed him in the jaw, knocking him across the ground. He spat a load of blood onto the floor and looked up as I moved over him. "N-no... No more... Please... I-i'm s-sorry..." He whined, quaking with sheer terror. I picked him up by the neck and brought his face level with mine. He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth, sure that I was going to put him down there and then. 

I threw him to the ground. "Oof!" He grunted. I deactivated my Aura and looked at him. "I will let you go this time, but if you ever try anything like this again, I will finish the job next time. Do I make myself clear?" I yelled at him. He nodded and slunk slowly away. "I'm... S-sorry..." He looked back over his shoulder, before limping away.

I returned to the enclave with the berries and grass, only to have Maya throw herself at me when I got inside. "Thank you Tesla! Thank you thank you thank you!!!" She squealed with happiness, before pressing her lips against mine, kissing me lovingly. I blushed madly, and kissed her back.

After a few seconds, Maya pulled away and smiled. "Thank you..." She said again, her cheeks bright red. "It's my pleasure Maya..." I smiled, blushing as well. I gave her the bundle of grass to use as a bed, and I curled up on the floor beside her. 

"What are you doing over there?" She said to me. "Come here. I have something to show you." She giggled. I walked over and sat in front of her. She held her hand up and it glowed green. "She can use Aura as well?" I thought. 

I held my hand to hers and it glowed blue. We held each others hand gently, staring at the light our bodies created. I looked into Maya's eyes and she looked back. I felt my heart race as I stared into her gorgeous eyes, and my face turned red as I leant closer and pressed my lips against hers. She kissed me back and wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me closer and laying me down on the bed. She looked at me and giggled as I stared blankly. 

"I'm guessing you enjoyed that Tesla..." She giggled. I nodded. "Y-Y-Yes..." I stuttered, my face bright red. Maya rested her head on my chest and cuddled up to me. "I did too... Thank you for protecting me Tesla..." She purred as she yawned. "I... I... D-Don't mention it Maya..." I replied, stroking her head as she fell asleep. 

I really wanted to tell her I loved her, but... Ugh... I'm such a coward... I'll tell her in the morning...
