"This is it folks. Each trainer is down to there last Pokemon." The announcer Bob said. "It's Gary's Arcanine versus Kaz's Espeon. Who will leave this battle the new Regional Champion?"

"Well if you ask me Bob, Gary has the upper hand." Dave said. "Arcanine is raring to go but Espeon has been through that harsh battle with Nidoking But anything can happen."

"Give up Kaz. You can't be my strongest Pokemon." Gary taunts. "Your Espeon is weak. It won't stand a chance against my Arcy."

"Never!" Kaz yells back. "I believe in my Pokemon and they believe in me. I won't them down."

"Awww. Ain't cute. But there is no time for that." Gary said. "Arcanine Flame Thrower!" Arcanine builds up a fire ball in it's mouth and fires the beam if fire at Espeon.

"Espeon! Dodge it and use Quick Attack." Kaz said. Espeon is able to dodge the Flame Thrower and quickly hits Arcanine with a fast blow to the left side of Arcanine. This makes Arcanine lose it's balance. "Quickly use Confusion Espeon." Espeon nods in agreement and starts build power. It's send Arcanine flying backwards towards Gary. Arcanine hit the ground and slides across the ground briefly.

"Arcanine!" Gary cries. Arcanine stands up and shakes the dirt from it's fur. "Are you OK? Use Fire Blast." Arcanine barks in agreement. It starts building up power for this mighty attack.

"Oh, no. Arcanine is about to use Fire Blast. The strongest Fire Attack." Bob said.

"This may be the end of Kaz's Espeon." Dave said.

Kaz seeing that his Espeon may be finished thinks of a plan. Then it comes to him. He has an idea that has worked during training.

"Espeon, charge towards Arcanine. We did this while training. It should work for now." Kaz calls. Espeon nods in agreement and charges towards Arcanine.

"Pathetic." Gary said. "Arcanine get rid of this Espeon." Arcanine fires the mighty fire attack at Espeon.

"Now Espeon. Use Return!" Kaz calls. Suddenly there is a violent explosion directly in front of both trainers. Kaz covers his face and hopes that their training has paid off. Gary just acts non-chalant. He has a good feeling that Arcanine hit it's target.

"Ladies and Gentlemen this is it." Dave said. "Which Pokemon will rise from this smoke?"

When the smoke clears, to everyone's surprise Kaz's Espeon is standing in front of Arcanine who is on the ground out cold. Espeon blinks a few times as the referee comes over to look at Arcanine.

"Hmmm...Arcanine is unable to continue battle." The referee said. "Your is winner is Green." The referee holds up a green flag. Kaz on the green side. The audience cheers as the score shows that Kaz has won.

"Ladies and Gentle Gentlemen, it's offical. Your new Regional Champion is Kaz." Dave said.

"On the instant reply in slow motion here you just see how it happened." Bob said. "Espeon was barely to dodge the Fire Blast and hit Arcanine with Return attack. And for those who don't know, Return's attack power is based off how much the Pokemon likes it's trainer."

"I guess it's clear that Espeon has a lot of love for it's trainer." Dave said.

The audience continues to applaude and cheer for the new champion. But unknown to everyone, some one has been watching this battle. Up at the top of the stadium in the Shadows lurks a mysterious being. It's glowing red eyes are fixed on the winner down on the field.

You just try to skate through using all power with no kind of strategy or even a back up plan. And you dare call your self an Elite trainer? You let the public think you are the best? Your delusional."

"What?! How dare say that to me!" Gary exclaims. "My way of fighting has gotten me this far. Do you even know who you're talking to? I'm the one and only Gary Oak. Elite Pokemon trainer."

"Not any more." Kaz said. "I bet Ash could beat you hands down."

"What?!" Gary said. "That did it. You're going down." Gary lunges out and punches Kaz in the chest. Kaz takes the blow and swings back landing a firm jab on Gary's jaw.

"If it's a fight you want, a fight you get." Kaz said.

Gary ribs his jaw and quick returns landing two good blows to the chest of Kaz. "Bring it on." Gary said. Kaz is groans in light pain but continues to fight.

Kaz comes back and tackles Gary. He lands several hit on Gary's head and chest. Gary is able to push Kaz off of him. He lashes out and hits Kaz with a low sweeping kick. This send Kaz to the ground. Gary stands up walks over to Kaz. Gary pick Kaz by his shirt. Suddenly Kaz pokes Gary in his eyes.

"Cheap shot..." Gary groans. He rubs his eyes until he can see clearly.

At that Kaz kicks Gary in the chest sending Gary backwards some. He throws a left jab towards Gary. Gary is able to block it. He holds Kaz's wrist to try prevent a counter.

"For what?" Gary said.

Suddenly Kaz throws a fast right hand at Gary. He lands the punch on Gary's face. The hard punch breaks Gary's nose. Blood start to slowly run from Gary's nose. Gary cringes in pain.

"What was that?" Kaz asked himself. "Is some body there?" There is no response. The only sounds he can hear are those of the crickets in the grass. He looks around to see nothing but the darkness that surrounds him. His flashlight is the only light he has to see in front of him.

"I could have sworn I heard something." Kaz thinks. He continues walking towards Jared.

Suddenly the flashlight goes out with the low but high pitched sound of breaking class. Kaz looks around to see what can possibly be attacking him. He looks around and spots a silhouette of what appears to be another person over in the clearing. But he blinks a few times to see that it looks more like a Pokemon than a human.

The moonlight in the clearing, allows Kaz to see a little better. "Crap." Kaz said looking for the Umbreon morph he ran from. "Where is she?" Kaz continues to look around. He does not see her.

"Your probably be seeing her later." Ivy said. "But you must get dressed. Our leader wants to see you."
