This was a rather... interesting and cute request, that I decided to take upon, requested by the same person who I did Tragedy Brings Love for. It turned out okay in the beginning, but the second chapter... was rather rushed and could've been done better, imo. I may redo this one as well, though it's not high on my list.
A Battle and A Discovery
Well, here it is, the exciting conclusion to this request of mine.

As Max and Ralts were walking through the forest, they could hear the sounds of various Pokémon who were roaming around. They looked all around them and could see how beautiful and full of life the forest was.
"It's beautiful." Max said, looking around him at the forest. He could see the trees and the grass, how full of life they were, since he hadn't taken the time to look around the last time he was here. He looked down to Ralts and saw her smile up at him, before her voice echoed in his head.
"Isn't it? It never ceases to amaze me." Ralts replied. She had lived here for all of her life and even though she had been down this path many times before, she still couldn't get over just how beautiful it was. Max's voice brought her out of her thoughts as he spoke.
"By the way, what were you doing by yourself? Where's Kirlia and Gardevoir?" Max asked. He knew that Ralts had stayed with Kirlia and Gardevoir when he had left her behind a few days ago, but he was curious why they weren't with her. He could hear her voice begin to speak in his head once again.
"Oh well, I told them that I was going out for a while to be by myself. I was so depressed until you showed back up, that I just wanted to be alone." Ralts replied. She knew that Max was concerned about why she was by herself when he found her and he had a right to know.
"It's okay. I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere." Max said. He knew he had to get back to his friends soon before they really began to worry, but he wanted to spend as much time with Ralts as he possibly could. He could hear her voice start to speak in his head.
"Thank you, Max. I'm glad you're here." Ralts replied. She was happy that Max was here, but she knew that he had to go back to his friends soon, before they got worried about him. She looked up to his face and saw that he had a curious look. "Is something wrong?" She asked.
"No, just wondering about my friends and what they're doing." Max replied laughing. He could then hear Ralts laugh in his head as well. Deciding to put it out of his mind for now, he continued walking with her, looking all around them and enjoying the time they had left together.

As Ash and his friends continued looking for the way back to Sootopolis City, they found they had trouble finding the way back by just using the compass as Ash had suggested. They stopped to take a short break and get their bearings before they continued on.
"I sure hope we're going in the right direction." Brock said, hoping that they weren't getting lost in the forest they were in.
"I hope so too. We need to find Max before something bad happens to him." May said worriedly, wanting to find Max as soon as possible before he got himself into trouble.
"Well, if he's with Ralts, he'll be fine. I'm sure she won't let anything happen to him while he's there, May." Ash replied, trying to cheer May up.
"Well, we need to get going again, but this time we should look for a way to find our way back to Sootopolis City." Brock suggested, wanting to have a plan for finding Max this time before they set out.
"I can't think of anything. How about you, Ash?" May asked. She and Brock looked over to Ash and they saw him looking for an answer to the solution. Then, he had a smile on his face, as he came up with something.
"How about we use our flying Pokémon and see if they can spot Sootopolis City for us?" Ash asked. He looked to his friends and saw they had smiles on their faces as well.
"Why didn't we think of that before?!" Brock exclaimed. He was surprised that they hadn't come up with this before now, but at least now they had a chance to get back to Sootopolis City now.
"Swellow, I choose you!" Ash said, releasing Swellow from his Pokéball. There was a flash of light and then, Swellow appeared in front of his trainer.
"Beautifly, I choose you!" May said, releasing Beautifly from her Pokéball. There was another flash of light and then, Beautifly appeared in front of her trainer.
"Swellow, fly up and see if you can spot a town nearby." Ash said, instructing his Swellow of what to do. He saw his Swellow nod at his instruction.
"Beautifly, go up and help Swellow look too." May said, wanting her Beautifly to help Ash's Swellow out. She saw her Beautifly give a nod at what she said as well.
Swellow and Beautifly flew up over the forest and looked around the area for what they were instructed to find. They flew forward and soon enough, they could see a town in the distance. Satisfied that they found what they were looking for, they flew back down into the forest, where their trainers were waiting for them.
"Well, did you find a town nearby?" Ash asked the two Pokémon. They both nodded and pointed to the direction they saw the town with one of their wings.
"Great, then let's get going!" Brock exclaimed. They grabbed their stuff and started walking again, being led by Swellow and Beautifly in the direction toward Sootopolis City.

Max and Ralts had taken a break from their short walk through the forest and were sitting down on a rock, relaxing and enjoying the scenery that was around them. They sighed, enjoying each other's company and being close to each other. Max started talking, looking down to Ralts as he spoke.
"Well, this place is beautiful. I can see why you live here, Ralts." Max said smiling. He could see Ralts look up at him as she smiled herself. Then, he could hear his stomach start to growl slightly, from not having eaten anything for the past couple of days. He could hear Ralts' voice start to laugh as she spoke in his head.
"Was that your stomach?" Ralts asked. She suspected that Max hadn't eaten anything and that his stomach was telling him that it needed to digest something.
"Uh, yeah. I haven't had anything to eat for a couple of days, since I was so depressed from leaving you behind." Max replied laughing. He knew that he should have eaten something before he came here, but he failed to pay any mind to it, as he just wanted to get to Ralts as soon as possible. He heard her voice start to speak in his mind once again.
"Well, I can take care of that." Ralts said smiling. Max was about to ask her what she was going to do until he saw her eyes glow as she used Psychic. She was using Psychic on a tree nearby that had an apple hanging from it, when it started flying over to them. When it was within reach, he grabbed it in his hand, looking down at Ralts smiling.
"Thanks, Ralts. It looks delicious." Max said. He was about to eat it when he heard Ralts' stomach start to growl as well. He figured she hadn't eaten anything for a while as well. "I guess you haven't eaten anything either, huh?" He asked laughing. He could see her give a nod in response to his question. Then, he broke the apple in half and handed her a piece of it. He could hear her voice start to talk in his head.
"You want to share it with me?" Ralts asked. She was surprised that Max wanted to share with her, probably since he needed the food more than her, but he gave a nod in response to her question. She started eating her half and he did as well, enjoying the taste of the piece of fruit. About a minute later, they had finished the apple and were about to get started walking again when a voice from behind interrupted them.
"Hello there." The voice said. Max and Ralts had turned around to see who had spoken and saw a Poochyena that had a grin on his face. They wondered why he was here and what he was going to do. Of course, Max didn't understand the Pokémon language, but he knew from the look on the Poochyena's face, that he was up to no good.
"What do you want?" Ralts asked, speaking in Pokétongue. Even though Max couldn't understand her when she spoke in Pokétongue, he knew what she had asked and was wondering the same thing himself.
"Well, I am rather hungry and you look rather tasty." Poochyena replied. Ralts was afraid by his reply and backed away slightly, for fear of what he was going to do to her.
"There's some food in the trees. I can get you something from there if you want." Ralts said nervously. She didn't want the Poochyena to eat her, because she wanted to travel with Max.
"I'd rather eat a live meal. Plus, it's fun when my food can't fight back against me." Poochyena replied, still grinning. He knew that Ralts was a Psychic-type and couldn't battle against him, for all she knew were Psychic-type attacks. She began to back away more in fear, hiding behind Max. He turned around to look at her, worried why she was hiding behind him.
"What's wrong? What did he say?" Max asked worriedly. He could tell that Ralts was afraid, but he had no idea why, since she had spoken in Pokétongue. He turned to look at the Poochyena, who was still smiling widely at Ralts behind him, then he turned back to look at her as her voice started speaking in his head.
"He said he wants to eat me. I offered to help him find something, but he said he'd rather have a live meal that couldn't fight back against him." Ralts replied, starting to cry softly. Max knew as well as the Poochyena that she was a Psychic-type and her attacks would have no effect against the Dark-type. He wanted to help, but he didn't know how he could, since he had no Pokémon and he was far too small to protect Ralts himself.
"Well, are you going to make this easy or hard? As I said, it's not like you can fight me and I don't think your friend there can protect you. Just make it easy and give yourself up." Poochyena said grinning. He could see Ralts pop out from behind Max and start walking over to him, smiling as he thought of how delicious his next meal would be.
Max was shocked to see Ralts go over to the Poochyena, but he figured she had just decided to give herself up to protect him. But, he didn't want her to go, as he had a strange feeling he never felt before. Without thinking of his own life, he picked up a rock and threw it at Poochyena, hitting him on the head with it.
When Ralts saw the rock hit the Poochyena and he was rubbing his head in an attempt to make it feel better, she turned behind her to see Max standing with a firm look in his eyes at the Poochyena. She knew he had thrown the rock, but didn't understand why he had done it. She wanted to protect him, even if it meant never seeing him or her family again or living the rest of her life. She could start to feel a strange feeling in herself, just like Max. "Max, what are you doing?!" She asked surprisingly in his head.
"I'm protecting you. I'm not going to let you be a meal just to protect me." Max replied smiling. He didn't know why he wanted to protect Ralts so much, but he knew he wasn't about to let anything happen to her. He looked past her to the Poochyena and she looked at him too, to see him stop rubbing his head with his paws. He had an angry look on his face, as he stared at Max.
"Ow! That hurt! What do you think you're doing, human?!" Poochyena yelled. He knew that he was angry now, because his soon-to-be-meal was just interrupted by this young boy. He didn't think that he would be able to stop him from getting what he wanted, but he certainly seemed to be trying now.
"As I told her, I'm protecting her from you. I won't let you eat my friend just to satisfy your own hunger. If you want to pick on someone, why don't you pick on me?" Max said smiling. Then, he stuck his tongue out to try to tease the Poochyena into following him. The Poochyena started growling as it spoke.
"Okay, human. You asked for it!" Poochyena exclaimed. Then, he started running to get Max instead of Ralts. Max started running off through the forest, leaving Ralts behind to take in what she had just seen him do. She was speechless, as she didn't know what to say at the time.

Max was running through the forest, with Poochyena not far behind him. He could see that he was still angry and focused on chasing him now only. His plan had worked, he had lured the Poochyena into following him and saved Ralts. He knew she would be worried about him until he returned, but he figured he just had to lose the Poochyena before he returned.
Then, all of a sudden, when he turned back around, there was a large cliff and he had almost run over the edge! He looked down and saw that it was a long drop if he fell. He wanted to run back into the forest, but there was nowhere to run. The Poochyena soon caught up to him and saw that he was trapped. A smile soon spread over the Poochyena's face as he spoke.
"End of the line for you, human. Nice try, but did you really think you would be able to stop me from getting what I wanted?" Poochyena asked. He knew he had Max trapped and that after teaching him a quick lesson, he would be able to go back and find the Ralts that he was about to eat before Max had interrupted him. He started to advance toward Max, flashing his teeth as he did so.
"Help! Someone help me!" Max yelled. He hoped that someone would hear him yell and come to save him. He wished that he could fend off the Poochyena himself, but he was unable to. Suddenly, as if sensing he was in trouble, Ralts teleported in front of Max. This got a very confused gasp from Max and Poochyena. "Ralts, what are you doing here?!" He asked surprisingly.
"I sensed you were in danger, so I teleported over here to protect you." Ralts replied, looking up at him and smiling. She knew she had to protect him, otherwise he could never become her trainer like he had promised her. Then, she turned her attention back to the Poochyena.
"So you think you can defeat me? Please, don't make me laugh." Poochyena said grinning. He knew that Ralts would not be able to stop him, but he was intrigued to see how she would stop him from hurting Max and eating her.
Ralts could feel her body start to get all charged up, like she was about to perform a new attack of some kind. She didn't know what kind of attack, but she hoped it would be one that she could use against the Poochyena and defeat him. She held out her arms and prepared to use the new attack, not really sure what she was about to use. Suddenly, leaves started appearing in front of her hands and then, after seeing them, she fired them at the Poochyena! She had learned Magical Leaf. The leaves hit Poochyena, making small cuts on his body. She could hear him groan in pain, being hurt from the Magical Leaf attack.
"I won't forget this!" Poochyena yelled. Then, he turned around and started running off, back into the forest. Ralts was happy that he was gone, that she was alive, and that Max was safe. She turned around to face him and saw that he had a confused look on his face.
"Was that a Magical Leaf?" Max asked. He didn't know how Ralts had just managed to learn that from out of nowhere, but he saw her give a nod. "How did you learn that so quickly?" Max asked.
"I'm not sure myself. I just reached inside myself and I managed to learn the attack." Ralts replied. She was about to continue speaking, when her body started to glow a white color. The light was bright, but not blinding. Max stood in amazement as he saw her get taller and when the light faded, a taller figure stood where Ralts was. She had evolved into Kirlia!
"Ralts, you evolved! I'm so happy for you!" Max exclaimed. He ran over to Kirlia and hugged her, crying softly. He was happy she was safe and that she had protected him, even at the risk of her own life. She hugged him back, crying softly as well.
"Thanks Max. I'm glad you're safe." Kirlia replied, her voice echoing in his head. She was glad that he tried to protect her, but she was even happier that he was still safe and unharmed. She didn't know why she felt this way, until it dawned on her. The fact that she missed him, that she wanted to protect him, and that she wanted to be with him. She was in love with him.
"I'm glad you're safe too." Max said. He wondered why he had acted like he did, trying to protect her. He had missed her deeply, he wanted to protect her, and he wanted to be with her. He realized that he was in love with her too. "Kirlia, I love you." He said smiling. He could hear her gasp and then, she spoke in his head.
"Max, I love you too." Kirlia replied, smiling back. They now know that they loved each other and that they couldn't bear to be apart from each other anymore.

"Are you okay? He didn't hurt you, did he?" Gardevoir asked, worried about her sister. Kirlia shook her head to answer the question as she continued speaking.
"No, thankfully Max here led him away. But when he was in trouble, I jumped in and saved him with a new attack I had learned. After that, I evolved and well, after that we confessed how we felt to each other. And one thing led to another and well, I'm sure you can fill in what happened on your own..." Kirlia said, trailing off at the end. She knew that her sisters could figure out what happened on their own since they had seen Max without any clothes on.

"Well, it's alright with me. I'll miss you, sister." Gardevoir said, hugging her sister slightly.
"I'm fine with it too. I hope this makes you happy." Kirlia said, hugging her sister as well.
"Thank you. I'll miss you guys too." Kirlia said, hugging her sisters back as they hugged her. At this point, Max decided to step out from behind Kirlia and speak to Kirlia and Gardevoir. He knew that they had agreed to let her go with him and he wanted to say something to them.
"Don't worry, I promise I'll protect her. You can count on me." Max said smiling. He saw Kirlia and Gardevoir give him a nod, saying that they trusted him. Then, they teleported and left Kirlia and Max alone with each other. Then, he turned to face her. "Well, we should get back to the others. But first, let me get my clothes back on." Max said smiling.
He saw her give a slight nod as she waited for him to get his clothes back on. Once he was done, they were ready to go back to the others and find them, so he could reunite with them. "Where do we go?" She asked in his head.
"Well, how about Sootopolis City? Look in my head and I'll show you pictures of it." Max replied. He began thinking about Sootopolis City and what it looked like. He could feel Kirlia looking through his brain, but it didn't bother him that much. Soon, he could feel that she had gotten enough information from his head to stop looking around.

Ash and his friends had arrived back in Sootopolis City, about an hour after they had gotten their flying Pokémon to help them find their way back here. They were looking around for the harbor, where they could hopefully find a boat back to where Max was. All of a sudden, there was a flash of light from in front of them and when the light died down, Max and Kirlia were standing in front of them.
"Max!" They all yelled, surrounding him. They were happy to see that he was safe and that he was back. Then, they noticed Kirlia standing next to him, with a concerned look on her face.
"Max? Is that Ralts?" Ash asked, wondering if this was indeed the same Ralts Max had saved a few days ago.
"Yep! She evolved into a Kirlia!" Max exclaimed, hugging her.
"Well, what is she doing here?" May asked, wondering why she was here with her brother.
"Well, she's going to be joining us. I couldn't leave her alone again by herself. I hope you guys don't mind." Max replied.
"No, it's no problem. It's just that we were worried about where you were." Brock said.
"Well, I would've told you guys, but I didn't think you would go for it. I'm sorry." Max said sadly.
"It's no problem. We just were worried about you is all. We didn't know where you were or if something happened to you." Ash said, trying to cheer his friend up.
"Yeah, next time, if you're going to do something like that, at least let us know." May said laughing.
"Well, anyway, let's get back on the road now. We still have a long way to go before we reach Pacifidlog Town." Brock said. The rest agreed with him and they started on their way back to Pacifidlog Town and May's next Pokémon Contest.

As Max and Ralts were walking through the forest, they could hear the sounds of various Pokémon who were roaming around. They looked all around them and could see how beautiful and full of life the forest was.
"It's beautiful." Max said, looking around him at the forest. He could see the trees and the grass, how full of life they were, since he hadn't taken the time to look around the last time he was here. He looked down to Ralts and saw her smile up at him, before her voice echoed in his head.
"Isn't it? It never ceases to amaze me." Ralts replied. She had lived here for all of her life and even though she had been down this path many times before, she still couldn't get over just how beautiful it was. Max's voice brought her out of her thoughts as he spoke.
"By the way, what were you doing by yourself? Where's Kirlia and Gardevoir?" Max asked. He knew that Ralts had stayed with Kirlia and Gardevoir when he had left her behind a few days ago, but he was curious why they weren't with her. He could hear her voice begin to speak in his head once again.
"Oh well, I told them that I was going out for a while to be by myself. I was so depressed until you showed back up, that I just wanted to be alone." Ralts replied. She knew that Max was concerned about why she was by herself when he found her and he had a right to know.
"It's okay. I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere." Max said. He knew he had to get back to his friends soon before they really began to worry, but he wanted to spend as much time with Ralts as he possibly could. He could hear her voice start to speak in his head.
"Thank you, Max. I'm glad you're here." Ralts replied. She was happy that Max was here, but she knew that he had to go back to his friends soon, before they got worried about him. She looked up to his face and saw that he had a curious look. "Is something wrong?" She asked.
"No, just wondering about my friends and what they're doing." Max replied laughing. He could then hear Ralts laugh in his head as well. Deciding to put it out of his mind for now, he continued walking with her, looking all around them and enjoying the time they had left together.

As Ash and his friends continued looking for the way back to Sootopolis City, they found they had trouble finding the way back by just using the compass as Ash had suggested. They stopped to take a short break and get their bearings before they continued on.
"I sure hope we're going in the right direction." Brock said, hoping that they weren't getting lost in the forest they were in.
"I hope so too. We need to find Max before something bad happens to him." May said worriedly, wanting to find Max as soon as possible before he got himself into trouble.
"Well, if he's with Ralts, he'll be fine. I'm sure she won't let anything happen to him while he's there, May." Ash replied, trying to cheer May up.
"Well, we need to get going again, but this time we should look for a way to find our way back to Sootopolis City." Brock suggested, wanting to have a plan for finding Max this time before they set out.
"I can't think of anything. How about you, Ash?" May asked. She and Brock looked over to Ash and they saw him looking for an answer to the solution. Then, he had a smile on his face, as he came up with something.
"How about we use our flying Pokémon and see if they can spot Sootopolis City for us?" Ash asked. He looked to his friends and saw they had smiles on their faces as well.
"Why didn't we think of that before?!" Brock exclaimed. He was surprised that they hadn't come up with this before now, but at least now they had a chance to get back to Sootopolis City now.
"Swellow, I choose you!" Ash said, releasing Swellow from his Pokéball. There was a flash of light and then, Swellow appeared in front of his trainer.
"Beautifly, I choose you!" May said, releasing Beautifly from her Pokéball. There was another flash of light and then, Beautifly appeared in front of her trainer.
"Swellow, fly up and see if you can spot a town nearby." Ash said, instructing his Swellow of what to do. He saw his Swellow nod at his instruction.
"Beautifly, go up and help Swellow look too." May said, wanting her Beautifly to help Ash's Swellow out. She saw her Beautifly give a nod at what she said as well.
Swellow and Beautifly flew up over the forest and looked around the area for what they were instructed to find. They flew forward and soon enough, they could see a town in the distance. Satisfied that they found what they were looking for, they flew back down into the forest, where their trainers were waiting for them.
"Well, did you find a town nearby?" Ash asked the two Pokémon. They both nodded and pointed to the direction they saw the town with one of their wings.
"Great, then let's get going!" Brock exclaimed. They grabbed their stuff and started walking again, being led by Swellow and Beautifly in the direction toward Sootopolis City.

Max and Ralts had taken a break from their short walk through the forest and were sitting down on a rock, relaxing and enjoying the scenery that was around them. They sighed, enjoying each other's company and being close to each other. Max started talking, looking down to Ralts as he spoke.
"Well, this place is beautiful. I can see why you live here, Ralts." Max said smiling. He could see Ralts look up at him as she smiled herself. Then, he could hear his stomach start to growl slightly, from not having eaten anything for the past couple of days. He could hear Ralts' voice start to laugh as she spoke in his head.
"Was that your stomach?" Ralts asked. She suspected that Max hadn't eaten anything and that his stomach was telling him that it needed to digest something.
"Uh, yeah. I haven't had anything to eat for a couple of days, since I was so depressed from leaving you behind." Max replied laughing. He knew that he should have eaten something before he came here, but he failed to pay any mind to it, as he just wanted to get to Ralts as soon as possible. He heard her voice start to speak in his mind once again.
"Well, I can take care of that." Ralts said smiling. Max was about to ask her what she was going to do until he saw her eyes glow as she used Psychic. She was using Psychic on a tree nearby that had an apple hanging from it, when it started flying over to them. When it was within reach, he grabbed it in his hand, looking down at Ralts smiling.
"Thanks, Ralts. It looks delicious." Max said. He was about to eat it when he heard Ralts' stomach start to growl as well. He figured she hadn't eaten anything for a while as well. "I guess you haven't eaten anything either, huh?" He asked laughing. He could see her give a nod in response to his question. Then, he broke the apple in half and handed her a piece of it. He could hear her voice start to talk in his head.
"You want to share it with me?" Ralts asked. She was surprised that Max wanted to share with her, probably since he needed the food more than her, but he gave a nod in response to her question. She started eating her half and he did as well, enjoying the taste of the piece of fruit. About a minute later, they had finished the apple and were about to get started walking again when a voice from behind interrupted them.
"Hello there." The voice said. Max and Ralts had turned around to see who had spoken and saw a Poochyena that had a grin on his face. They wondered why he was here and what he was going to do. Of course, Max didn't understand the Pokémon language, but he knew from the look on the Poochyena's face, that he was up to no good.
"What do you want?" Ralts asked, speaking in Pokétongue. Even though Max couldn't understand her when she spoke in Pokétongue, he knew what she had asked and was wondering the same thing himself.
"Well, I am rather hungry and you look rather tasty." Poochyena replied. Ralts was afraid by his reply and backed away slightly, for fear of what he was going to do to her.
"There's some food in the trees. I can get you something from there if you want." Ralts said nervously. She didn't want the Poochyena to eat her, because she wanted to travel with Max.
"I'd rather eat a live meal. Plus, it's fun when my food can't fight back against me." Poochyena replied, still grinning. He knew that Ralts was a Psychic-type and couldn't battle against him, for all she knew were Psychic-type attacks. She began to back away more in fear, hiding behind Max. He turned around to look at her, worried why she was hiding behind him.
"What's wrong? What did he say?" Max asked worriedly. He could tell that Ralts was afraid, but he had no idea why, since she had spoken in Pokétongue. He turned to look at the Poochyena, who was still smiling widely at Ralts behind him, then he turned back to look at her as her voice started speaking in his head.
"He said he wants to eat me. I offered to help him find something, but he said he'd rather have a live meal that couldn't fight back against him." Ralts replied, starting to cry softly. Max knew as well as the Poochyena that she was a Psychic-type and her attacks would have no effect against the Dark-type. He wanted to help, but he didn't know how he could, since he had no Pokémon and he was far too small to protect Ralts himself.
"Well, are you going to make this easy or hard? As I said, it's not like you can fight me and I don't think your friend there can protect you. Just make it easy and give yourself up." Poochyena said grinning. He could see Ralts pop out from behind Max and start walking over to him, smiling as he thought of how delicious his next meal would be.
Max was shocked to see Ralts go over to the Poochyena, but he figured she had just decided to give herself up to protect him. But, he didn't want her to go, as he had a strange feeling he never felt before. Without thinking of his own life, he picked up a rock and threw it at Poochyena, hitting him on the head with it.
When Ralts saw the rock hit the Poochyena and he was rubbing his head in an attempt to make it feel better, she turned behind her to see Max standing with a firm look in his eyes at the Poochyena. She knew he had thrown the rock, but didn't understand why he had done it. She wanted to protect him, even if it meant never seeing him or her family again or living the rest of her life. She could start to feel a strange feeling in herself, just like Max. "Max, what are you doing?!" She asked surprisingly in his head.
"I'm protecting you. I'm not going to let you be a meal just to protect me." Max replied smiling. He didn't know why he wanted to protect Ralts so much, but he knew he wasn't about to let anything happen to her. He looked past her to the Poochyena and she looked at him too, to see him stop rubbing his head with his paws. He had an angry look on his face, as he stared at Max.
"Ow! That hurt! What do you think you're doing, human?!" Poochyena yelled. He knew that he was angry now, because his soon-to-be-meal was just interrupted by this young boy. He didn't think that he would be able to stop him from getting what he wanted, but he certainly seemed to be trying now.
"As I told her, I'm protecting her from you. I won't let you eat my friend just to satisfy your own hunger. If you want to pick on someone, why don't you pick on me?" Max said smiling. Then, he stuck his tongue out to try to tease the Poochyena into following him. The Poochyena started growling as it spoke.
"Okay, human. You asked for it!" Poochyena exclaimed. Then, he started running to get Max instead of Ralts. Max started running off through the forest, leaving Ralts behind to take in what she had just seen him do. She was speechless, as she didn't know what to say at the time.

Max was running through the forest, with Poochyena not far behind him. He could see that he was still angry and focused on chasing him now only. His plan had worked, he had lured the Poochyena into following him and saved Ralts. He knew she would be worried about him until he returned, but he figured he just had to lose the Poochyena before he returned.
Then, all of a sudden, when he turned back around, there was a large cliff and he had almost run over the edge! He looked down and saw that it was a long drop if he fell. He wanted to run back into the forest, but there was nowhere to run. The Poochyena soon caught up to him and saw that he was trapped. A smile soon spread over the Poochyena's face as he spoke.
"End of the line for you, human. Nice try, but did you really think you would be able to stop me from getting what I wanted?" Poochyena asked. He knew he had Max trapped and that after teaching him a quick lesson, he would be able to go back and find the Ralts that he was about to eat before Max had interrupted him. He started to advance toward Max, flashing his teeth as he did so.
"Help! Someone help me!" Max yelled. He hoped that someone would hear him yell and come to save him. He wished that he could fend off the Poochyena himself, but he was unable to. Suddenly, as if sensing he was in trouble, Ralts teleported in front of Max. This got a very confused gasp from Max and Poochyena. "Ralts, what are you doing here?!" He asked surprisingly.
"I sensed you were in danger, so I teleported over here to protect you." Ralts replied, looking up at him and smiling. She knew she had to protect him, otherwise he could never become her trainer like he had promised her. Then, she turned her attention back to the Poochyena.
"So you think you can defeat me? Please, don't make me laugh." Poochyena said grinning. He knew that Ralts would not be able to stop him, but he was intrigued to see how she would stop him from hurting Max and eating her.
Ralts could feel her body start to get all charged up, like she was about to perform a new attack of some kind. She didn't know what kind of attack, but she hoped it would be one that she could use against the Poochyena and defeat him. She held out her arms and prepared to use the new attack, not really sure what she was about to use. Suddenly, leaves started appearing in front of her hands and then, after seeing them, she fired them at the Poochyena! She had learned Magical Leaf. The leaves hit Poochyena, making small cuts on his body. She could hear him groan in pain, being hurt from the Magical Leaf attack.
"I won't forget this!" Poochyena yelled. Then, he turned around and started running off, back into the forest. Ralts was happy that he was gone, that she was alive, and that Max was safe. She turned around to face him and saw that he had a confused look on his face.
"Was that a Magical Leaf?" Max asked. He didn't know how Ralts had just managed to learn that from out of nowhere, but he saw her give a nod. "How did you learn that so quickly?" Max asked.
"I'm not sure myself. I just reached inside myself and I managed to learn the attack." Ralts replied. She was about to continue speaking, when her body started to glow a white color. The light was bright, but not blinding. Max stood in amazement as he saw her get taller and when the light faded, a taller figure stood where Ralts was. She had evolved into Kirlia!
"Ralts, you evolved! I'm so happy for you!" Max exclaimed. He ran over to Kirlia and hugged her, crying softly. He was happy she was safe and that she had protected him, even at the risk of her own life. She hugged him back, crying softly as well.
"Thanks Max. I'm glad you're safe." Kirlia replied, her voice echoing in his head. She was glad that he tried to protect her, but she was even happier that he was still safe and unharmed. "Well, since we both love each other, I thought I'd go with him back to his friends, if that's all right with you two." Kirlia said smiling. She knew that her sisters loved her, but that one day she would have to go and leave them.
"Well, it's alright with me. I'll miss you, sister." Gardevoir said, hugging her sister slightly.
"I'm fine with it too. I hope this makes you happy." Kirlia said, hugging her sister as well.
"Thank you. I'll miss you guys too." Kirlia said, hugging her sisters back as they hugged her. At this point, Max decided to step out from behind Kirlia and speak to Kirlia and Gardevoir. He knew that they had agreed to let her go with him and he wanted to say something to them.
"Don't worry, I promise I'll protect her. You can count on me." Max said smiling. He saw Kirlia and Gardevoir give him a nod, saying that they trusted him. Then, they teleported and left Kirlia and Max alone with each other. Then, he turned to face her. "Well, we should get back to the others. But first, let me get my clothes back on." Max said smiling.
He saw her give a slight nod as she waited for him to get his clothes back on. Once he was done, they were ready to go back to the others and find them, so he could reunite with them. "Where do we go?" She asked in his head.
"Well, how about Sootopolis City? Look in my head and I'll show you pictures of it." Max replied. He began thinking about Sootopolis City and what it looked like. He could feel Kirlia looking through his brain, but it didn't bother him that much. Soon, he could feel that she had gotten enough information from his head to stop looking around.
"Okay, hold my hand and let's go there." Kirlia said in his head. She closed her eyes and began focusing on Sootopolis City. Then, she used Teleport and teleported herself and Max to there.

Ash and his friends had arrived back in Sootopolis City, about an hour after they had gotten their flying Pokémon to help them find their way back here. They were looking around for the harbor, where they could hopefully find a boat back to where Max was. All of a sudden, there was a flash of light from in front of them and when the light died down, Max and Kirlia were standing in front of them.
"Max!" They all yelled, surrounding him. They were happy to see that he was safe and that he was back. Then, they noticed Kirlia standing next to him, with a concerned look on her face.
"Max? Is that Ralts?" Ash asked, wondering if this was indeed the same Ralts Max had saved a few days ago.
"Yep! She evolved into a Kirlia!" Max exclaimed, hugging her.
"Well, what is she doing here?" May asked, wondering why she was here with her brother.
"Well, she's going to be joining us. I couldn't leave her alone again by herself. I hope you guys don't mind." Max replied.
"No, it's no problem. It's just that we were worried about where you were." Brock said.
"Well, I would've told you guys, but I didn't think you would go for it. I'm sorry." Max said sadly.
"It's no problem. We just were worried about you is all. We didn't know where you were or if something happened to you." Ash said, trying to cheer his friend up.
"Yeah, next time, if you're going to do something like that, at least let us know." May said laughing.
"Well, anyway, let's get back on the road now. We still have a long way to go before we reach Pacifidlog Town." Brock said. The rest agreed with him and they started on their way back to Pacifidlog Town and May's next Pokémon Contest.

Well, glad you liked it! Even though now, looking back, this was way out of character and with a lack of knowledge for how little kids would be in a sexual scenario. I mean, since Max is human (though I think that applies to any sort of being with a defined gender/genitals), he wouldn't be able to fill Ralts/Kirlia like he was. I guess I wouldn't know since while I was into porn, I never knew about the aspects of sexual activity despite learning about it in high school. And I never tried anything myself until I was in my teenage years and already undergoing puberty, lol. I can't say I'll add on to THIS version, even though the dude who requested this did ask for a sequel to it a LONG time ago, not that I thought I should do it. But maybe if I feel like it someday, I will rewrite it without the sexual aspect, if I don't still feel like it'd be appropriate or that Ralts/Kirlia would wanna do that to him (even if it would feel kinda like rape possibly, since Max is a pre-pubescent kid and I doubt even though he took over stopping Brock from making a fool of himself with girls, he knew what Brock would wanna do to a girl). As I did here... *facepalms* Again, thanks for reading and reviewing!

This was just brilliant. I just wished that Max had gotten to keep Ralts in the anime as well. Well this was great. Keep up the great work.
