Not really sure if anyone has done this storyline before, but if you have, please tell me. I don't have any problem taking it off.
Chapter 1 remade
Chapter 1 (remade)
Jeremy woke up on the sand of the beach. The events from the night before were all a blur. All he could remember was fire and water. Time seemed to crawl as he struggled to remember something, anything else. His ears perked up as he heard a splash in the water next to him. He got up on all fours and shook all of the sand out of his fur. He looked to the water and caught a glimpse of a tail submerging under the water.
Jeremy: "Wait!"
But the creature had been gone. Most Vulpix would simply swim after it, but Jeremy could not. To Jeremy, water was a fatal liquid. He could not be exposed to rain for long periods of time, nor could he swim. Though the unknown poke'mon was gone, Jeremy had the feeling that it would come back. He grabbed two nearby sticks and placed them in the shape of an "X" He blew a small flamethrower at it and created a charred black mark on the ground. He then walked into the forest towards his home, just as the sun rose over the horizon.

As Jeremy slept, the memories of the night before came to him in a dream...
Seaman: "Captain Jeremy, sir!"
Jeremy: "What is it?"
Seaman: "There's a breach in the hull of the ship!"
Jeremy: "Alert the maintenance crew at once."
Seaman: "Yes Sir."
Jeremy then made his way towards the front end of the Artemis, His ship. Despite the fact that water was very dangerous to him, Jeremy still took after his father and became a captain.
Lieutenant: "Sir!"
Jeremy: "What is it now?"
Lieutenant: "There are Gyarados to starboard of the ship."
Jeremy: "Well then fight them off!"
Lieutenant: "We've lost too many men to the waters! We can't fend them off!"
Jeremy: "Well-"
He was cut off after he heard a clap of thunder, and felt a few raindrops.
Jeremy: "Send in some of our grass type fighters if all else fails. That is all."
Jeremy then activated his fire barrier, which was a special move that he created, because of the fact that he needed to be able to go out, even in the rain. It creates a heat barrier in a spherical shape. The high temperature within the orb can't dissolve large amounts of water, but it is at least enough to dissolve rain on or near him. Suddenly, the Artemis groaned to its side. Jeremy got up on his hind legs and gripped the steering wheel of the ship with all of his might. Again the ship tilted, this time catching Jeremy off guard. He lost grip of the wheel and was sent flying through the wooden railing of the ship. He fell towards the water below, but suddenly a shady serpent-like creature burst forth from the water.

Jeremy woke up sweating heavily and hardly able to breathe. Once he calmed down, he activated his fire barrier and ran out into the rain. It had turned from day to night, but he didn't care. He finally made it to the beach and found the spot he had marked. It was worn and almost completely washed away, but still visible. Jeremy thought not knowing who or what he was waiting for, still waited.Chapter End Notes:Hope you liked this version of the chapter 1 better. I'll also be posting chapters 1-3. I hope you enjoy my first story, and thanks for reading
