Bane slowly opened his eyes. He took a quick look at his surrondings and remembered what had happened before he dosed off. He looked down and saw Rika's face buried into his neck still sleeping. He saw that it was morning, they slept through the rest of yesterday and the night. He bent his head a little and took in her scent. He enjoyed her smell, her touch, her peacefull innocence.

"No we had to skip them. Rescueing you guys was more important." Inferno looked off to the side, "Ohh and Bane I'm sorry for not trusting you. You obviously don't mean any harm. Sorry that this all had to happen so I could see that."
Bane shook his head, "You don't need to apologize. I would have been just as cautious if I was you. Besides, I like the way things turned out." He nuzzled Rika, who nuzzled back.
It took five days for Bane to completly recover. It would have taken three for him to be able to keep up with them. Rika, however, wasn't going to let him go any where untill he was one hundred percent. She kept a careful eye on him every day, whenever he was hungry she shot into the woods and returned with as much food as she could carry. If he got thirsty she would go toward the river and scoop up water with a large leaf then carry it back. She took care of him in any way he needed.
After Bane was back up to his former self, aside from the fact that he was now much more talkative, they set off for the road. It took an hour before they finally left the woods, "Man it feels good to be on the road again." Inferno inhaled deeply.
"We need to be careful though. I know those idiots and they won't just leave us alone." Bane was keeping an eye on the woods and the other on Rika, "they won't stand for being humiliated by me at all."
Rika gave him a peck on the cheek, "Don't worry hon. We'll be fine. After all they seem to be terrified of Inferno and Sky, and next time I won't stand by and watch."
Inferno and Sky seconded Rika's statement as they continued down the road. They were nearing the edge of the forest area when Sky's stomach began to crumble. As if in responce Inferno's and Rika's grumbled as well. "Aww I'm touched. To think you all cared about me so much you ignored your own stomachs." Bane smiled.

The group of four set out into the woods in search of food. As Inferno, Rika, and Sky looked for anything edible, Bane inspected the area, making sure that none of the mightyena were around. As he looked around he heard something faint. He scaned the area before setting off in the direction of the noise.
As he ventured into the woods the sound got louder. It sounded like a moan.
