Ferra and Rika were beside their mates, trying to cheer them up, and meeting with limited success. Death sighed, "Fuck...maybe I should just stay out of this fight...I mean...I will never be forgiven in that forest...not after all I've done."
Bane sighed, "Well...it won't just be your actions...it'll be the actions of everyone in our old pack." He shook his head, "That's exactly why I won't be welcome either."
Death sighed again, nodding, "Right..." he shook his head, "This isn't going to be pleasant...don't need to be psychic to see that." Bane nodded.
Ferra smiled, "Come on you two! Inferno's a big hero there...I'm sure they'll listen if he tells them that you're both nice and sweet now."

The gang all shared a laugh, smiling from the conversation, even Bane and Death smiled. Even the normally quiet pair of Link and Masamune were laughing. Her father had taken a liking to Blaze and Tia, and it looked like the feeling was mutual, as the normally reserved typhlosion happily chatted. And she was glad of that, since it gave her time to privately talk with Link.
Of course Link didn't find his sensei-father's absence as nice...since all the alone time with Tensa usually had him blushing. She'd constantly ask questions, mainly about what he was looking for in a mate. And every now and again, after he gave an answer, she'd ask that horrible question, "You mean like me?" And everytime she asked, he'd go scarlet, then look away, mumbling incohearently. And that would make her giggle. "Link?"
