Chapter 1

The Brains. The Brawn. The Beauty.

These were the nicknames of the most lovely trio in MonTerras, a world of Pokemon. Within a cavern known as a mystery dungeon, three of these pokemon were trudging through the bright but murky passage.

They are known as Team Charm.

The one holding a ball of light was RinaRune, a green Gardevoir. Her species was known for possessing immense dimensional powers, hidden from the devious eyes of suspicious pokemon. They were also known for their extreme loyalty to protect their friends even at the cost of their own life. Her strategic person and great psychic ability classified her as the 'Brains' of the group.

The one in front of her was a Medicham named Zenith Aleriana, also known as Zen-A. Her kind has the power to house a sixth sense through constantly yoga training. While Zen had this ability, she was more focused on pure power. The dance training and endurance through harsh weather made her a grand fighter. Many see her as a 'beautiful but deadly storm', with elegant moves and speed followed by swift but brutal strikes. This made her known as the 'Brawn' of the trio.

The one taking the lead was their leader, a Lopunny they known only as SkyBun. Being such, she ofter grooms herself after every expedition, especially her long ears. While most of her species are often harassed by their curvy look, they are also known for their speed, strength and flexibility. Her life origins were unknown, but she was famous for having the same fighting power as Zen. Her name derives from her ability to bounce and jump higher than any average rabbit pokemon. Her stunning figure has made her the 'Beauty' of the bunch.

"OH! How much longer till we reach the end?" Whined SkyBun.
"Shouldn't be much longer," Answered Zen-A. "We spent hours fighting wild ones, avoiding traps..."
"Not to mention collecting tons of treasures." Rina added telepathically. "Wasn't it your idea to come here, Sky?"
"Well... yes. If not for the fact we're always looking for relics or super rare treasure, we'd be somewhere else."
"But we're not," Zen said with a smirk. "The BlueMist Caverns is said to contain a very special treasure. Though not anything like diamonds, pearls, or the like, but an object leading one of the greatest caverns in the world.
"And of course, Team Charm (more like you, Sky) was the first to jump at the chance for this expedition... Without any study of this place. Lucky us."
"Yay! In that case, let's get movin'!" Sky shouted in enthusiasm. "When this is over, there's this dazzling place with a spa and everything! You'll love it, Zen."
"Well at least you're not calling me a prick just because I would've said no. Come on. Race ya!"

With that Zen and Sky ran through the path like a young Buneary and Meditite. Rina's running consisted of warping from one part of the path to another, if only to keep an eye on her friends.

Just as they would be close to the stairs, they stopped in a dome-shaped cavern. They then saw two pokemon: a big green dinosaur-like creature known as a Tyranitar and powerful lion-poke known as a Luxray. Rina seemed indifferent yet unaffected by the two, as did Zen-A. But SkyBun just giggled like a little schoolgirl and waved her paw.

"Hello, lovelies!" the Lopunny greeted. "What are you two cuties up to?"

Without warning, both pokes launches their attacks; Luxray using a Thunderbolt attack from its mane, and Tyranitar firing Dark Pulse. Forming a Protect guard, Rina surrounded her teammates in a blue light to take in the blast. When the light faded, they remained unscathed.

"Looks like the old 'actions louder than words' routine. Couldn't you infatuate them, Sky?"
"Not unless they attack me directly," the rabbit giggled. "This is quite charming, eh Zen? These boys wanna rumble..."
"Then let's give them what they want..."
"We're expecting more..."
"WHAT?!" Both exclaimed.

Several more wild ones joined the two in front of them. Before the team could head back where they came from, a crafty Gabite used Rock Tomb; not at them, but at the entrance behind them. They turned around to see their escape hindered but not completely sealed off. Turning back, a whole gang was behind the two 'ringleaders'.

"Just what we need," groaned Zen annoyingly. "We just had to run into a Monster House..."

A Monster House: a room containing a large group of wild pokemon whose main purpose in the mystery dungeons was to ambush any traveler who dares to enter. One would think of this as a hideout of sorts; a base of operations. This was not the first time Team Charm has ran into a Monster House.

"I sense twenty wild ones within this room. Maybe more..." Said Rina.
"And judging by the scent, there's not a single female here. save for us." Said SkyBun. "This is bound to be too easy, right Zen?"

In a flash Sky ran to give the first of the wild ones, the Luxray, a direct Dizzy Punch sending him across the room. Next, Zen-A sidestepped to and fro and dodged a Water Gun attack sent by a Floatzel and his slightly younger brother Buizel and, using Meditate to power up her attack upon a complete stop, launched the brothers backward with a powerful Force Palm. Both pokegirls jumped in the air and landed their own Jump Kicks simultaneously on the Tyranitar. Their partner Rina stood behind the two in case she was needed to back them up. However, she knew how much fun her friends were having.

"You two are truly enjoying this aren't you?" said the Gardevoir. "Allow me to level the playing field. Foe-Seal!"

Using a Foe-Seal Orb, in a flash all of the wild ones noticed their feet were stuck to the ground.

"You got that right," giggled the Lopunny as she charged at the group. "I was expecting a challenge against these guys. Hey Zen, I bet I can take down more mon than you!"
"At least be careful, Sky," The Medicham warned calmly. "By the fact they aren't charging at us all at once, these males are either forming some sort of strategy or we might be running into another--"
"WATCH OUT!"
