Oh and thank you for 10000 views. Wish I could do something special...Oh wait, I did. New goal: 20000(on top 10s!)(Man the competition is fierce.)I'm a writer. I tried writing on fur affinity, but the server there has crashed and no one has seriously commented on my stories. I'm hoping for some comments on this new story which I am releasing here first. Axe that, only here. Especially since I'm so close to getting on the top ten for most words(about 20000 more) and potentially most reads(more then 5000 now) I'll put the general disclaimer here. All publicly recognizable characters, settings, etc. are the property of their respective owners, Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures inc, and Pokemon. The original characters and plot are the property of me. I am in no way associated with the owners, creators, or producers of Pokemon. No copyright infringement is intended. If you are offended by anything in this story, then you have a serious problem being offended by something no one force you to read but I don't care enough so don't complain to me if you end up offended.
Chapter 6 An unexpected development
"I have to say I don't really like those things." Commented San as she appeared.
"I know but they have to heal you somehow, and that's the only way." Mech answered. "And hello little Budew, what do they call you?" The grass type looked at him for a moment shyly before replying.
"Uh, my parents called be Subomi." It said, or rather he said as the pokédex had indicated.
"Welcome to the team Subomi!" he said "We can talk on the way, we're in a rush." Mech added postponing any questions. They left the town for Jubilife. During the trip Mech explained his unique talent and Subomi found it easier to sit on Mech's pack then to try to keep up. As par with travel trainers came out left and right to fight them but they all lost to the trio.
"Well this is easy." Mech commented as another trainer walked away dejected. They had amassed over 3000pd in just two days. He picked Subomi back up to jump onto his pack when San said something. "Huh?" he asked.
"I said, wait up, I feel funny." She said moving as if to get her balance.
" Are you okay?" Mech asked rushing over "Do you feel sick?"
"Well just sorta "she started but stopped as her body was bathed in a white light. Mech stared unsure what to do, but Subomi watched in awe. He had never seen this in person before. After a second San began to change shape; becoming taller and shaped more like an oval, but with the glaring light it was hard to tell. After a few moments the light subsided and in San's place was a grey cocoon.
"San?" Mech asked nervously, obviously confused.
"Yes?" San asked "What, do I have something on my face?"
"What just happened? One minute you're you and the next, you're a cocoon thing!" Mech exclaimed.
"Oh, right you don't know that much about pokémon." San said before Subomi interrupted her.
"Congrats on the evolution San!" he piped up.
"Evolution?" Mech questioned
"Yeah, every so often when conditions are right a pokémon can evolve into a stronger slightly different pokémon. I'm still me, I just look different."
"Okay, evolution's a little different back home, but oh well."
"I'm kind of happy because I'm on my way to becoming a Tyranitar!" San declared.
"A Tyranitar?" Mech asked
"Yeah, I was a Larvitar, now I'm a Pupitar, and soon I'll be a Tyranitar!"
"Cool, let me look it up in the dex." Mech said as he navigated the menus and scrolled down to Tyranitar. "Hey, this is the thing I saw in my dream last night!" He said out loud.
"You dreamed about a Tyranitar?" asked San
"Well in my dream I was sort of floating there watching this Tyranitar walk around. I think it was a on a" h said
"Hillside" He and San said at the same time.
"How'd you know?" he asked.
"Because in my dream, I was a Tyranitar walking around on a hillside." She exclaimed.
"I'm confused, what happened?" Subomi asked
"It happened before you joined on." Mech explained then turned to San. "It's weird that we had the same dream huh."
"But we didn't!" she corrected "I dreamed one thing and you dreamed you were watching me!"
"Huh. Well I did read a paper that people with pets in the same bed dream at the same time. Maybe its something like that, not that your a pet but you get the idea."
"Your right its probably just coincidence. We should go on to the city, though as much as I hate it, I might have to go in my ball unless I can figure out how to walk like this." San did manage to walk with a waddle but she was mobile. Eventually they made it to Jubilife, but most of the shops had closed down with how late they arrived so they headed for the Pokémon Center and found an empty room there after depositing some of his earnings in an account Oak had set up. As they fell asleep, Mech felt bad that San was too heavy for the simple beds and too small to climb on anyway so she had to sleep in the corner, but she said she didn't mind though he couldn't help feel a bit of sadness from her. Subomi just slept oh his pack.
