Story Notes:

I understand this story is rated xxx and the main character starts out as a 15 year old minor but if I write a new chapter to this story, don't worry, something cool will happen but I don't want to give any spoilers!

Chapter 3

The darkness was all around me. Where am I? I tried to look around but I still only saw darkness; stillness... I could not tell which way was up, or which way was down. I am so very lost. Then I saw something, something small and bright. I squinted to try and get a better view, or at least I thought I was squinting. The light grew bigger and bigger until I could finally distinguish what it was. It was that same yellow light. I saw it coming for me and so I began to run, but I could not feel my legs or my feet, or any other part of my body for that matter. I wanted to escape its yellow wrath, but I could not get away, I was going to be consumed. Then the light hit me, and I felt serge of energy flow across my body. I was blinded in every direction, and nothing seemed to make any sense. A cloud of what looked like smoke suddenly erupted in front of me. What was this? Why is it here? I wanted to reach out and touch it, but instead I just kept looking, watching, waiting. A face. A face that was so familiar to me but yet so strange and distant in my mind. Who is it? The image began to clear and soon I realized whom I was staring at; my mother. She had tiny tears in her eyes and her head shook from side to side, she was greatly upset at something. I called out to her. Where was my voice? Nothing happened... I continued to watch the figure with immense curiosity. She was so close, it felt as if I was standing next to her. Her small sobs stabbed me in the heart; I hated to see my mother so upset, so devastated. What was wrong? Her sobs stopped abruptly, and I continued to watch the back of her head. She rocked from side to side, as if shifting her weight, and I saw something. The very corner of a long metal table, and a pair of feet. Whose feet were they? My mother rocked to the other side now and I saw what was once hidden from my sight. I saw me. I saw my 15-year-old body laying cold and still. This time when I screamed, I heard it. It was a loud and terrible scream that I never knew I was capable of creating. I thought I felt tears pour over my face. But how could I cry? I was dead! The screams began to make the yellow around me disintegrate into blackness once more. All of the happiness, gone. But as my mother's face began to fade away with the rest of the world that I was engulfed in, she turned her face towards me, and I saw her bright blue eyes burrowing into my golden ones. Another small tear fell from her face. I think she saw me. My screams had stopped for the moment, and I waited for her to do something, but she looked down and shook her head, convincing herself that she was imagining things. She was gone. My mother had arrived at the hospital that was to perform my autopsy as soon as she got the word. She came running, screaming cries of pain and suffering as she burst through the hospital doors, right past the receptionist's desk. She was in so much pain because of me. Why do I have to put her through this terrible ordeal? She came running up to the autopsy room doors where my father sat in a small chair waiting. He looked up when he heard her running down the hall. She flew into his arms so fast; he barely had time to raise them before they made contact. She stained the back of his shirt with her salty tears. He pushed her away for a second to look her in the eye, and softly told her that she could go see me before the procedure started. She looked at the large swinging doors, and pushed one open just far enough to let herself in. What she saw only brought on another fit of tears and pain. She slowly made her way towards my body, naked and still upon the ice cold operating table. I had bruises all over my skin, my arm was bent in a funny position, and my eyelids where shut tight. Mother laid a hand on my chest. She bent over and started to release a fresh wave of tears onto my lifeless corpse. She looked up at my face, raised a finger to my eyelid, and gently lifted it up. She saw that the gold had gone with my spirit to the heavens and let the eyelid drop back to its original position. She could not, would not believe that her son was dead. How could this be? She heard the operating team talking outside, ready to begin the diagnostics. She straightened herself and shook her head a little bit. A scream pieced out from the darkness. It was muffled and distant, but she heard it, calling for her. She turned her head to where she thought the origin of the scream could have been and stared up at the nothingness of the tiled ceiling, hoping that she could catch a glimpse at whatever made the sound. She thought that she saw something, but waved it away as the thought of her dead son reentered her mind. Oh how she wishes that she could have me back... "DAN!" I felt a soft touch against my face, and I could smell the sweet scent that was drifting through the air. I couldn't quite tell what it was, but it was most heavenly. "DAN!" This time, I heard the voice call out from overhead, and I began to slowly open my eyes. I saw large, fuzzy green image directly in front of me. I blinked a few times and soon the image began to clear up. It was Bayleef. Her eyes were filled with panic and her lips were curled into a deep frown. I rolled my head around and brought my hand up to rub the top of my head. I felt blood. I retracted my hand and examined the red liquid that coated my coarse skin. How did that happen? "Oh Dan!" cried Bayleef as she saw that I was going to be ok. "I thought that you were never going to come around! You hit your head pretty hard against the wall while you were screaming, are you going to be ok?" I could hear the distress in Bayleef's voice and I opened my mouth to talk, but my lips were stuck together, and the whole in side of my mouth felt sticky and disgusting. I thought back to last night's events. Right, the sex. I couldn't remember much of it; in fact, I couldn't remember any of it. The pleasure was gone and the sweet scents had also vanished from my mind completely as if they were erased by something. Or someone. I began to sit up as Bayleef released a vine from her neck to help me to my feet. I looked at her clearly for the first time this morning. Or at least, I think it's morning.... I saw that like me, Bayleef was also covered in last night's doings. Her fur was matted and sticky from the dried up liquids, and she seemed a little stiff in her hind legs. She stared back at me with those bright yellow eyes. What did they mean? Why do we both have them? I continued to stare until I realized that I couldn't look away. A memory flashed in the back of my head. I saw my father crying out. A flash of yellow appeared along with the face of my mother. My thoughts were racing; my heart was pumping faster and faster. Then, I saw my dead figure lying there on the silver table. My mind started to rewind the history of my life as fast as mentally possible. It started with finding Bayleef in the meadow, and then I saw my crash on my motorcycle, which started this whole terrible ordeal. The thoughts raged on in my head and I was at a constant battle with the spirits inside me until the impossible happened. The strange yellow light that haunted my dreams at night had suddenly erupted from my right palm, as it did on the day of my crash. Bayleef was terrified at the gruesome scene. My eyes where rolled back in my head, my whole body was shaking furiously, awful screams were erupting from deep within me, and my fist was glowing bright yellow. In front of me, all I could see was the replay of my life, rewinding, fast-forwarding, rewinding and fast-forwarding. I wanted it to stop. I told myself that the madness was going to end. I felt as if another me was trying to break free from its cage that has been kept dormant for all of my life. I was in a heated battle with myself. "GET... OUT..." I finally managed to say through all of the screams and total nonsense that was erupting from my vocal cords. I raised my right hand with all of the energy that I could possibly muster and grabbed my face with it. The yellow light soon began to cover my whole body in a blinding glow. My shaking ceased, and all that I was saying was gone. There was only silence as the yellow light continued to engulf me. Then the light gathered itself up in a tiny sphere on the palm of my hand, which was covering my ajar mouth. I couldn't tell what was happening, my eyes where still rolled back inside of my head. Bayleef stood rooted to the ground about twenty feet from me. She called out to me but was interrupted by another loud guttural voice that was being generated from me. "LET... ME... OUT....." the deep and wispy voice demanded. "RELEASE... ME..."I knew what was going on now. There was something inside of me, something that became active when I was hurled through the strange portal yesterday afternoon. Could this be the origin of my nightmares? "RELEASE ME!" The little beam of light that was collected on the palm of my hand shot down the back of my throat making contact with something inside of my body. I felt coldness that I had been feeling for all of my life is suddenly ripped out of my chest to reveal a warm pleasantness that I thought never existed. The light was beginning to make its way out of my oral cavity and with it was a cloud of ugly black smoke. The yellow light on my hand returned to the inside of my palm leaving the black smoke standing before me. My eyes returned to normal in their sockets. Soon, the smoke began to take shape into a terrible being. "RUN BAYLEEF!" was all I had to say before Bayleef shot out of the opening of the small underground cave. At least she was going to be same, but what about me? The smoke began to form almost every distinguishable feature as a demon from Hell. I watched as it began to grow horns, large claws on its feet and hands, large bloodshot eyes, and from its back unfolded enormous black wings. The cave around me began to shake. I thought it was going to collapse upon the both of us due to the large beast that now took up almost every square inch of room. Sweat began to fall from my face. I was scared. The beast took his first swing and it landed square on the side of my head sending me flying. I fought to regain consciousness as the foul beast picked me up by the ankle and launched me to the back wall of the cave. I was now covered in blood from a large wound on the top of my head. I was getting very dizzy. The shadow approached me and began to speak. "PUNY HUMAN," said the shadow in a large booming voice that sounded like death. "NOW THAT I AM FREE, THERE IS NOTHING YOU OR ANY OTHER GOLD WIELDER CAN DO ABOUT IT!" I couldn't think straight. Did he just say Gold Wielder? What is a Gold Wielder? Before I could ask my question, the demon raise a mighty fist that was covered by what looked like a black fire. I thought that it was the end of me for good. I saw myself on the autopsy table. No, that is not me! That is NOT... "BOOOOM!!!!!" There came a large explosion as a red-hot flame pieced the demon in the back of the skull. I looked up and I saw the demon stumbling backwards, tilting this way and that, grabbing his nearly blown off head in agony. I looked towards the mouth of the cave and saw Bayleef standing there in a nasty looking crouch position, ready to strike. I blinked, trying to get some dust out of my eyes as I saw Bayleef launch a huge fireball straight at the demon for a second time. I thought I was imagining things, perhaps I was already dead and this is what I want to see. I shook my head and I heard a voice from over all of the commotion. "Use the Gold Dan!" Shouted a voice from an unknown origin. Funny, it didn't sound anything like Bayleef, and I had no clue what the Gold was. The voice called again just in time for me to look up and see that the demon was about to collapse right on top of me. I panicked and raised my hand as a stream of golden light began to flow freely from the suspended palm. A small rip, very much like the one I saw while I was falling from my motorcycle appeared about a foot away from me. I quickly took the chance of being teleported to another alternate dimension than be crushed by this demon. I jumped full force into the portal and I soon found my body being stretched like a rubber band, very much like the first time I fell through a portal. But instead of being hurtled through a field of stars, I almost instantly exited the black emptiness to come to a crash landing at Bayleef's heels I couldn't move and now the blood from my wound was everywhere around the cave. I felt light headed and dizzy. Bayleef dragged me outside and laid me on the grass. I was desperately trying to regain my breath when I remembered that most of my throat and mouth were still coated in dried up cum and other body fluids. I really need a bath and a cup of water. "BOOM!" Another loud explosion made me look up. The whole cave had imploded on itself due to the portal being left open. It sucked up the whole cave, including the demon, and deposited it right back on top of itself causing the implosion. I let me head drop back on the soft grass and watched as Bayleef began to search through the rubble to see if any remains of the demon were left. When her job was completed, she ran back to my side and stared back down into my golden eyes. "I never thought that in all of my years that I would find a Gold Wielder that learned how to reject his demon that soon before." I only stared at her in response. "That's because when he came here, his soul was split from his mortal body on accident somehow and he needed to be rid of his demon before it consumed his fragile soul." I attempted to twist my head in the direction of the new voice but it was pointless. I was too tired. "But how can a human be a Gold Wielder?" I knew that was Bayleef's voice. I could recognize it anywhere. "I don't know," said the new voice. "But whoever he is, he needs help. He needs the teachings of the elders." "The elders? They don't know much more than us." "About medicine no, but they might know how this man could have been split from his body. That is the part that baffles me..." "Well he needs his rest for now. There is not much we can do with him when he is like this." "I agree. We must wait." The talking stopped for a second before the new voice reappeared in my ear. "I never knew that there could be a portal maker in the clan of the Gold Wielders. He may be the key that we need to defeat all of these horrible demons that lurk in the souls of the innocent. He was very lucky that in his weekend condition that his Gold kept his soul in tact." "Every night he woke up screaming and thrashing around calling out for his mom and his dad. What do you think it means? The strangers voice became very quite and seemed to whisper the last few words. "Then he is more powerful than I first imagined. If he can conjure portals in his mind to see into different worlds, then I can only feverishly await what other new tricks he can perform." Then I saw her, the stranger's face. She was a beautiful shiny Latias. Her golden eyes matching her bright golden fur. "I can only wait..."Then there was blacknessTo be continued...Chapter End Notes:Ok, so I know that so far, everything seems very confusing. Trust me, it will get better. Also, I hoe that chapter helped clear up why Dan was seeing his devastated family in his sleep, and why he appears dead back in his own realm
