Preparations Begin

By now we had recovered enough to be able to move about, but the nurse still cautioned us not to go on any missions for a few more days while we continued to recover. Brimstone moved a tad bit slower than normal and needed to stop for a few minutes rest after a while, but she was otherwise showing signs of improvement, Lopunny had also made a speedy recovery and we now had her in our team base with us, discussing whether or not she would like to join us.
"So then, are you sure about this?" Asked Brimstone as she sat on the bed of straw next to Aurora., We were holding a box with another rescue team badge in it to present to Brimstone's rescuer.
"Few things would grant me more pleasure than taking down team Poke Whores." said the Lopunny, "But there are two people whom I wish to meet in that team no matter the cost." she said. "I will join you in hopes of meeting them." she bowed to us and I handed her the badge.
"Welcome to the team, Lopunny." I said as the others started to cheer. She placed the badge on and gave another respective bow. Our team was slowly growing by the day, and we weren't even a month old!
"Please.. Call me Charm." She said as she gave me an affectionate kiss on the cheek, causing my scales to blush.
"Well then, shall we start heading for the evolution crystal? I'm anxious to increase my power, especially after what happened last time..." said Brimstone as she slowly climbed to her feet. She wobbled a bit, but quickly managed to correct her balance. I was about to make a comment on how we should wait until she was capable of moving without assistance until we heard an uproar take up in the hallway.
"What the heck is that?" Asked Charm as she peaked out into the hall to hear a pokemon shouting news to the patrons. He was shouting so loud, we could all hear inside the room.
"Extra, extra!" shouted the pokemon, "Team Sea Forest Fire are hereby declared wanted outlaws for the crime of killing a member of Team Poke Whores! They are to be treated as B class with a bounty of 10,000 for each member as well as an immediately membership acceptance into Team Poke Whores!"
"On second thought, that's not such a bad idea! Lets get the hell out of here." said Aroma, we all looked very tense, we had expected to do this the slow and easy way by taking over land mark by land mark, but it seems Lust had taken the battle pretty severely with the death of Swamp.
"Mom and Dad can fend off any stupid bounty hunters who come our way, I'm sure they'll even train us!" Said Aurora, trying to offer us a way out of this predicament. We would have normally protested the thought of bothering her parents to come out of retirement for our own personal problems, but we could see little choice in the matter.
"She's right." I said, getting the attention of the girls, "It might not be a very polite option, but we need somebody to train us, there is no way we're ready for a battle this big. Just one squad practically killed us!" I explained. We heard the uproar coming dangerously close towards our room, and we all grabbed onto each other, activating our badges to warp directly to Aurora's home just as our door was busted down.
"Well, honey, I told you they'd be back. You owe me a giant apple." said Typhoon the instant we arrived in front of the old run down house, nearly scaring us to death as we hadn't expected them to actually be waiting for us!
Both Alexis and Typhoon were sitting directly in front of us, smiling as if they knew exactly what we came for. We spent the next few minutes trying to plead for their assistance, and were surprised when they immediately accepted our request as if it was a very common occurrence!
"First, you'll need an official team base..." Said Alexis with a grin as she turned to look at her run down house, "I think this should do nicely, of course we're going to need to make some serious improvements. Do you still have those peeled acorns, honey?" she continued, saying it in a way that made her seem like she had a very devious idea.
"Oh, I'm sure we have some laying around somewhere." replied Typhoon, "But first, I think we should give our daughter that present now. Waiting for it would seem pretty suicidal right now, don't you think?" he added, causing Alexis to nod in agreement.
"Indeed, I was hoping with Lust defeated, she might have some time to practice with it, but time is short, and even we can't stand up to an entire army." said Alexis as Typhoon headed inside the building and returned a few seconds later holding a box in his hands.
"Come here, honey." said Typhoon, as Aurora quickly approached her father who opened up the box for her. I saw her gasp in surprise as she pulled out what was inside it with her paws, clutching it to her.
"It's a Sun Ribbon..." said Alexis, "It will allow you to evolve into an Espeon, the psychic evolution of an Eevee." she explained. "We were hoping for either a Water or Ice stone instead so you could follow after us, but then you said you wanted to join a dungeon team and we thought this would be the most useful to you." she added.
"Oh thank you mom and dad!" cheered Aurora as she tied the ribbon around her neck, it was quite beautiful, a shining yellow color which reflected the sunlight. She began to dance around on her hind legs, happy to have an evolution item.
"Now lets hurry and get your friends evolved." said Typhoon as we began to head for the evolution crystal area again. It wasn't a very long trip since we now knew the way. Brimstone was eager to get down the tunnel, desperate to increase her power, while Aurora was eager to try her new gift out.
We watched them head down into the tunnel and began to wait, it was only a few minutes before they climbed back out, and we marveled at their change!
Brimstone now had her eyes opened and her short and pudgy body had been replaced with a slender lengthened one, instead of having her entire back set ablaze, now only her upper shoulder area as well as her lower back where her hips began were covered in flame quills. The fire on her back had definitely increased in power as I could feel the pulsing heat waves even from my distance of 10 feet away!
Aurora had a similar drastic change. The once cute loveable fox was now stunningly beautiful. Her shaggy brown fur was now short and a bright shade of pink, her fluffy tail was now roughly as long as her body, whip-like in it's slenderness, and split off into two tips. She also seemed to have developed a tiny red gemstone in the center of her forehead, although I wasn't quite sure how she had done so since it seemed to actually be lodged into her body.
"This power is incredible!" said Brimstone, causing her back to flare up once again as she sat on her hind legs and began clenching her front claws while looking at them. She placed her hands on her sides and began swaying from left to right, winking at me as if showing off her new physique.
"Mother, I'm so beautiful!" exclaimed Aurora as she tried to trot over to Alexis, but instead rose up into the air, yelping as she flailed around in confusion. "Help, somebody get me down from here!" she cried.
"That's the problem with being a psychic type, dear." said Alexis with a slight laugh, "And it's why we need all the time we can get to train you kids. As it stands now, you would all be butchered by team Poke Whores. So we're going to raise our training as far as your bodies can handle it." she explained.
I wasn't very happy about where this was going. Two ancient pokemon who were level 100 were bound to have some extremely harsh training methods, and as we began to follow them back to their home, I could see a faint smirk of slyness from both Alexis and Typhoon out of the corners of their mouths.
"By the way, Brimstone. You have very pretty eyes when they're not squinting." I said to her as we began to follow, carrying Aurora along through the air much like a kite as she showed her obvious dislike of such by her pouting frown.
"Why thank you, Derek." she said with a devious grin, "You're quite attractive yourself with your thick muscles." She flirted while gripping my arm. I could almost hear aroma scoff, as if in jealousy, but as I looked back to see if I was correct, she just continued walking on, giving me a winking smile as she saw me looking at her.

"Hey Mandragora... take a look at this..." said a Blaziken as it handed a section of the pokemon newspaper to what looked to be a gigantic frog with an enormous flower growing out of it's back. Obviously a Venusaur.
"What's this, Phoenix..." said the pokemon as it reached out with a thick vine from it's flower and grasped the news article. The Blaziken was a large humanoid bird with flames erupting around it's wrists and brightly red feathers around most of it's body save for it's feet and head which had darker cream colored feathers.
"Apparently Lust has declared full out war with team Sea Forest Fire. Somebody must have really pissed him off to have done this." replied the Blaziken.
"Then I take it we're free from dealing with these weaklings...?" asked Mandragora as he swung his vines out and sent a Machamp flying across the cave, crashing into a stone wall.
This was Mandragora and Phoenix, sent to Mt. Steel to train against the Fighting and Steel type pokemon who lived there. Of course, it had barely qualified as training, the very moment they got there, they had been slaughtering their way throughout the mountain. None of the Pokemon there could even hold a candle to them, especially now with their newly evolved forms.
"I'm going to rape that Bayleef and force her to watch as I crush the rest of her team with my newly acquired techniques..." growled Mandragora as he turned to the Machamp who was just starting to stir from being launched into the wall.
"Solar Beam!" he roared, firing off a concentrated laser of solar energy from his mouth, the Machamp barely had time to look at the attack before it completely engulfed him, vaporizing the pokemon on impact!
"Alright... but I want some fun with that Cyndaquil if she's even still alive after what we did to her." said Phoenix as he heard more wild pokemon approaching. "Over Heat!" He shouted as he grabbed the pokemon by the face. It was a Tyrogue who were known for challenging tough opponents. Both Phoenix and the attacker began to glow an almost blinding red color as the Tyrogue burst into flames and then was vaporized into ashes.
"Now lets slaughter those punks, for Swamp!" roared Mandragora as he and Phoenix began to use their badges to warp back to Lust's meadow, eager to get some briefing onto the plans for war.
