A Pokemon's Jealousy

Not part of the story: To begin with, I know that I make comments inside my stories so if you don't like them, please just ignore them. They are just so fun to write, but I think I got a little carried away this time.

Now starting the story:

"Another beautiful day in Twinleaf Town as the week comes to a close. Looks like we will have more sun coming our way so break out the suntan lotion cause its time for summer to begin." The weather man (or weather person to be politically correct), spoke from the TV in the hotel lobby. "Did you hear that guys? Looks like we will take a little break from the trip and spend the day at the beach." Ash said while strolling out of the hotel. "Would you like that Ashley? Would you like that?" Ash playfully asked as he held his little girl. After a week of resting, Ash still wasn't up to going back to traveling. All he wanted to do for the time being was spend time with his new family.

Ash couldn't help but stare at his daughter all day because she was just too darn cute. She had the most beautiful blue eyes that he had ever seen. They looked like 2 big sapphires sparkling in the sunlight. She had taken a lot of her mother's features, at least physically. When he had asked Professor Oak about this, he told Ash that although pokemon / human offspring are very rare, they will always take on the attributes of the pokemon, doesn't matter if it's the mother or father, they had the dominant gene. Her fur gleamed with its dazzling black and blue colors that seemed to be perfect complementary colors for each other. Her two dreadlocks drooped down from both side of her head with her left dreadlock curling up at the end making her the cutest little pokemon he or anyone had ever seen. When someone made her giggle, everyone's heart melted with extreme love for this little (I said little a lot, haven't I), bundle of joy. Ash couldn't believe that he helped create this wonderful creature. And he had fun doing it, until he got caught. (If you don't know what I mean, please read the end of chapter 1, but who would forget that? I need to stop butting in like this.)

As they walked down to the beach which was only a half an hour walk from the hotel, they all talked about the new baby. "She's so cute." Brock would say. "She's an angel." Dawn would say. Pikachu went up to Ash and scratched at his legs as if to tell him to pick him up too. "Not now Pikachu, maybe later." And they just kept walking. Over the past couple of months, Pikachu kept feeling more and more left out. He used to be Ash's best friend and they were inseparable. Ever since he met Vair and Jade, his friendship with Ash seemed to dwindle. Now, with the addition of Ashley, he felt like Ash didn't have time for him at all. When Ash trained with Pikachu and Vair, whenever Pikachu did something good, Ash never really noticed it like he used to. Always the occasional "Good Job." but that was it. Whenever Vair did anything, good or bad, Ash would praise him like he just saved the world. "OMG, Vair. That was amazing. Show me again!" And it never got any better. One time, he even went so far as to juggle his food when everybody was eating on the way over to Twinleaf Town. Instead of hearing "Wow, how did you do that?" or any of its variations, he was scolded by Ash. "Don't play with your food Pikachu." Nothing seemed to work and Pikachu was slowly imagining the possibility that Ash didn't need him anymore. No, he thought. Ash has always needed me, just because he has a family doesn't mean that he doesn't need me. I'm still his best friend. Right?

As Pikachu was thinking this, out of the woods stumbled a Torchic. It was cute at first, but as the group walked up to it, they saw that it had cuts and marks all over its body with blood oozing out of the poor Torchic. It was badly hurt and it passed out right there in the middle of the path. When it woke up, it was staring up at a completely white ceiling with little patterns of dots on the ceiling tiles shaping what looked like many different species of pokemon. As the Torchic leaned to look at the rest of its body, it saw that it was no longer bruised, but looked quite the opposite. It was even given a bath to make it really shine. "Where am I? How did I get here?" The Torchic thought to itself.

"Are you alright?" a strange voice asked. The small Torchic looked up to see Ash looking down on it with concerning eyes. The Torchic didn't know who Ash was, but could tell just by looking at him that he was someone who she could trust. She slowly nodded as her body was still stiff. "Good, well, you seemed to fall out of the forest at the perfect time. Nurse Joy said if you had arrived a minute later than you had, you would have most likely died. Lucky you." He touched it on the nose as a playful gesture to welcome her to the group. The Torchic giggled and blushed intensely. "Hi, my name is Ash. Hey guys, come in here." After waiting a few seconds, the whole group walked in to see the little creature on its soft hospital bed. "This is Brock, Dawn, Vair, Jade, and this little girl here is my own daughter, Ashley." A lightning bolt flashed as Pikachu became angry at Ash forgetting him. "O yeah, that's Pikachu. I know it isn't the most creative name, but he was my very first pokemon." Even though Pikachu was still mad at Ash for forgetting his name, he still couldn't help but think of the old days back when he first met Ash. Well, not exactly the first day because he really hated Ash back then. But the first days after Ash saved him from the Sparrows. "And who might you be?" Ash asked as he pulled out his pokedex. "Torchic, the firebird pokemon. This little creature can be found in many of Sinnoh's rich deep forests and is said to keep 1,800 degree F temperatures inside its belly ready to be used in battle." (Wow, you can tell that was made up.)

"So a Torchic eh? Well, I think you would like a name so... how about..." Ash said before he was interrupted. "I know, how about Akuti. In my culture, it means princess." Jade announced. (Seriously, that is what it means in Indian. I looked it up. That is how I came up with Vair's name, I forget his full name already and I'm not about to look it up.) "Wait, princess?" Ash asked as he turned to see that she was infact a she. "Yeah, that sounds like a perfect name. Akuti, A-cute-y, isn't that just adorable." Dawn said as she tickled the Torchic. "Yes you are, you're adorable." The Torchic giggled and then spat out a fireball from the tickling. Dawn was surprised as the fireball caught the side of her head catching the left side of her hair on fire. "AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" Dawn screamed as she ran out the door trying to dose the the flames in her hair. "Isn't that cute, she has my humor." Ash said as he laughed. "Ash, that wasn't funny, Dawn could of really got hurt." Jade scorched at Ash as she tried to understand how anyone would find that funny. (I found it funny.) "O well, hey Akuti, we were heading up to the beach when we found you, do you want to come too?" Ash asked. Akuti nodded her head in agreement and with that they were out the door going back to the beach, again.

This time the trip went without a hitch and nothing was important for me to write other than when Ashley cried for an unknown reason, everybody ran to her trying to help in any way they could, except Pikachu. He didn't love Ashley or Akuti because they both to him stole away his best friend.

When they got to the beach, Brock, Ash, and Dawn released all their pokemon to have some fun too. After everybody got changed in on of the many changing rooms dotting along the beach every half-mile, they all jumped in and just had fun. Pikachu was even happy playing with Eevee and Staravia, but every now and then he'd catch himself looking over at Ash. Vair and Ash were splashing each other, having contests to see who could hold their breath underwater the longest, which, after 3 overtimes, had come to a draw. Ash even started to teach Vair how to throw a football in the water, which led to no avail.

Jade watched all of this from the sidelines as she sat in her beach chair that she brought over just for this occasion. Someone had to take care of Ashley. She would have loved to jump in the water to show Ash just how sexy she still was. But she knew she couldn't. After an hour, she asked Brock to hold Ashley while she had some 'fun' of her own. Brock of course agreed and took Ashley cradling her back and forth while he fed her some delicious berries he picked on the way over to the beach.

Jade then came strutting her way out from the changing room making sure that everyone knew she was coming. As she walked over, Ash was drooling over her amazing figure and the size of her chest. "Jeez, how was I so lucky to find her?" He thought as she motioned for him to come over to her. He stood there a minute while he stared at her until he realized what he was doing, and slowly walked up to her. "Do you want to play, little boy?" she asked teasingly. "Shu...sure. Uh, I mean..." clearing his throat, "yeah. I'll escort you to the playground my lady." Ash said as he picked up his lover and carried her out to where him and Vair were playing. She joined them in playing and even won the contest for seeing how long they could hold their breaths. And the rest of the evening went on smashingly. (I was watching Austin Powers while writing this so that is probably why I used smashingly. I don't want to take it out now so it stays.) Brock and Dawn kept switching spots because they wanted to have some fun too, but didn't want to get in-between the fun of Jade and Ash.

When the group got back to the hotel, they were so tired that they all fell face flat onto the pillow and fell fast asleep. That night, there was a huge thunderstorm. First, Jade came in pretending to be scared by the "big, scary thunderstorm." She hoped onto the bed and just as they began to start playing around was when Vair rushed into the room scared out of his mind jumping right in-between the two lovebirds. They both sighed as they again were interrupted out of their 'fun time'. Next, Ashley started crying making Ash have to get up and let her sleep with him. He set her on his stomach as he was pressed to find room on his bed. Then, Akuti came scrabbling into the room terrified at the loud sounds. Ash placed her at the foot of the bed. As Ash tried to go to bed for a fifth time, but Pikachu then appeared at the door scratching at Ash to get up on the bed. Ash woke up again desperate to try and get some sleep. "Sorry Pikachu, there just isn't enough room, sorry." Ash tried to say as nicely as he could. Pikachu stormed out of the room sending bolts of light shooting around his body showing his frustration with Ash. Pikachu sat on his bed and just cried, not knowing what to do anymore. It was true, he really didn't need him. He was crushed and just laid there thinking and crying.

Ash tried to get some sleep once again but couldn't help thinking about Pikachu and how angry and heartbroken Pikachu looked when he ran out of the room. He had to go talk to his friend and talk about why he was so distant and weird lately. Ash slowly lifted his baby daughter up and as he got out of the bed, set her down as softly as he could. They were all asleep so he quickly and quietly crept out of the room and walked over to Pikachu's room. "That's odd." Ash thought as he went up to Pikachu's room, "there's a note here." The note read: "Pika pika pi pika pikachu. Pi pi Pikachu." (You don't understand it? It's clear as day!) The note was smudged with tears all over it and even though Ash couldn't read Pikachu's handwriting, he could tell that something was wrong. Ash looked inside the room to ask Pikachu what the note meant, but found the room completely empty. All of Pikachu's possessions were now gone and when Ash went to check his bed, he was gone and all that was left was Pikachu's tears on the bed.

Ash, now realizing what the note meant, ran down the stairs not knowing what he'd do if he was unable to find Pikachu. (The note obviously meant he was running away.) He imagined the past 3 months and saw just how much he was ignoring his former #1 friend. Through everything Ash has had to deal with, thick and thin, Pikachu was always there for him. Ash remembered back when Pikachu found a whole group of Pikachu in a forest and he chose to live there with them. Ash was so lonely during that time that when he came back, he found Team Rocket trying to steal all the Pikachu. (This is just a vague reference to a show I watched a loooong time ago. If it isn't perfect, who cares? Enjoy this nice rewrite to the story.) Ash was the only person to save them all and once he did (because I'm not going back to watch it and I don't want to detour you too much, even though I'm doing it right now), Pikachu saw how much Ash loved him and always wanted to be with him. "Stupid, you stupid idiot! How could I not realize that I wasn't giving enough attention to Pikachu? Any person with a brain could have figured that one out." Ash yelled at himself angry at how stupid he had been. When he got to the lobby, he saw a shadow walking out the main door that resembled Pikachu. Ash couldn't tell for sure if it was his best friend, but he had to make sure. It was a long shot, but he didn't care. Running to the door he swooped up the pokemon. He held it in his arms, and then remembered he still wasn't exactly sure this was Pikachu.

Looking down, he saw his best friend swelled with tears in his eyes as he stared up at his trainer. Through the years they had become much more than just any trainer, pokemon relationship. They had become family, and how did he forget that. To walk away from Ash was the same as walking out on his own family. Ash walked back inside the hotel getting away from the pouring rain and sat in the lobby with Pikachu in his arms for a long time. As he held him, he couldn't tell time was passing. Pikachu's eyes were just so inviting that he lost track of time. After 2 hours of this, he remembered everybody in his room. He then carried his now sleeping friend into his hotel room where he made room for Pikachu by trying to mix and match everyone to fit on the bed like Tetris. When he was done, he found to his dismay, that there was no room for himself. Ash didn't care, he laid down on the ground next to the bed knowing that everything was back to normal and he would never let Pikachu or anyone he loved feeling alone or left out again. Everything was at peace.

"That's right Jade, just relax. You'll be back in my arms again soon."

Uh-oh, who can that be. Wait till my next chapter to come to find out.

I know this one was short, but just because it's short doesn't mean that it lacks in detail and storyline. I wanted to make this one as detailed as possible because I know that I have been lacking in that field.

PS. Sorry for the extra time this took, my computer was having problems so I had to wait until that was fixed to upload this chapter because half of this was typed on the damaged computer and the other half was typed on my laptop from work. Then, the damaged computer erased all my files so I had to start this again from scratch. I wanted to make sure that when my computer was fixed, I'd have the rest ready to upload to the website. It took me 5 hours to get my computer fixed then another 3 hours of waiting because they said that it needed to "rest." Grrr. Again, sorry for the delay and it was not my fault.

Stupid Microsoft.

PPS: And after that, their was a real thunderstorm at my house making the server crash and I had to wait to get my internet connection back. So many things have gone wrong today that I'm just going to start on the next chapter now. (I am typing this all before I actually upload this to the website because I am just so tired of waiting.)

RWARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. ME ANGRY!
Chapter End Notes:Whoever actually reads the end notes, I am uploading the next chapter tomorrow even though I already have it done. I want you to dwell on the cliffhanger for at least a day. Otherwize, why even put the cliffhanger there in the first plac
