Story Notes:
I do not own Pokemon, or it's contexts. All the main characters in my story are fictional, and are not modeled off of any characters, whether they be real or fiction.
Getting Ready Part 1
I woke up drowsy. I lifted my head to see Mar at the TV. "Whatcha doing, Mar?"
"I'm watching this cool looking show! It's a big gathering of Pokemon, and they're all having alot of fun! I want to do something like this if I can!"
I smiled. "Well, if you talk to your father, I'm sure he'll take you to join in a... Contest?!" I had just seen what was on TV. It was a contest. And by the looks of it, it was in Saffron.
"It's called a Contest? Wow! I want to be in a Contest!"
I gave my son a weird look. 'Okay, maybe it's just a phase. He'll grow out of it.'
I got up, and just as I did so, the door burst open and in walked Megan, Rhydon, and Luna. "Hon, it's time to get you ready!" Megan said.
"What are you- OH! Mar, go into your father's room, please. You can watch TV in there."
"Aww! Why can't I watch it in here?"
"Cause I have to get ready for something, and your father will want to talk to you. And you can talk to him about being in a contest."
"Oh! I didn't think about that! Thanks, mom!" And with that, Mar ran out of the room and headed off to Dustin's room.
"So, he wants to be a contest Pokemon?" Megan asked.
"I guess." I said.
"Mom, what's a contest?" Luna asked.
I pointed to the TV, which Mar had left on.
Luna looked at the TV and said "Who would want to be dressed up like that? The Pokemon don't look too comfortable in those outfits!"
"Which is why I'm a battler, and not a contestant." I said.
"Okay, now to matters of wedding." Megan said.
"Right." I went to the mirror and started with my hair. I set the curlers in it this time, feeling it was better than having my hair straight for the whole ordeal.
Once the curlers were in place, Megan came up and brought out some nail polish. "This is a special blend that I had made. It'll look great with your blue, black, and yellow. Oh! Speaking of which, Rhydon-"
'It's Aren now.' Aren said.
I translated for her and took note myself. "Oh, sorry, Aren. Well, can you go into my room and grab that package hanging on my door?"
'Yes, Ma'am.' And with that, Aren was out of the room.
I just gave Megan a weird look. "Don't worry." She said. "You'll see when Aren get's back."
I shook my head, and took the nail polish and tried to open the bottle, but failed ultimately. "Uhh, can I get some help here?"
Megan just laughed. "Here." She took the bottle fromme and opened it with ease. She then started applying the silver polish to my nails. She was right. The tint of the polish actually set off the vibrant blue, black, and yellow of my fur.
"Wow, mom! Your nails look pretty!" Luna said in awe.
"Do you like it? Cause it's also for you!" Megan said.
"Really, Grandma?" she asked.
"Yes, really." Megan said laughing.
"Wow. Me and mom'll be the most beautiful people there!"
'No, I think your mother will top you in that department.' Aren came in through the door and set down a package.
"Mom! Did you-" I asked.
"I had it special fit for a Lucario. Let's get you finished so you can wear it in time!"
"Right!" I nodded. And with that, I pulled out the curlers and let my hair bounce in curls around my head. I fanned my nails to let them dry faster, and I felt something hit my foot pads.
"Dear, your feet are waay too rough for this kind of occasion. It's a good thing I brought my PedEgg(c)."
"I guess, but that tickles!" I said, giggling.
"Well, I think your mother needs to know your ticklish spots." Megan said.
"She sure does!" Came a disemodied voice.
I looked around. "Lorana? Is that you?" I looked at Megan, Luna, and Aren, but they were still normal. "What happened to freezing time this time?"
At this, the purple clad figure reappeared. "Just want to be known this time."
"Who are you?" All of Megan, Luna, and Aren asked.
"Well, my name is Lorana, and I think I'll say now, that I am Sylvia's mother."
I fainted.
I woke up again, and everyone had worried looks on their faces. "We thought you would never wake up! We've got to be ready in half an hour!"
"Ahh!" I screamed. "Mom,"
"Yes?" Both Lorana and Megan said at the ssame time.
"My birth mother." I said.
Lorana came up to me. "Yes, hon?"
"You wouldn't hapen to have something old that you and dad married with, would you?"
Lorana smiled. "I have just the thing." She closed her eyes. Then, out of nowhere, a bright red necklace appeared. "Your father gave me this as an anniversary gift before you were born. Now, it's yours."
I smiled at the sight. I then put it on, and said "Okay. Something old, something new... how did the rest go?"
Megan brought out a veil that was bright purple. "This is mine, so you can borrow it. Something borrowed is the next line."
"Right. Then it was..."
Lorana snapped her fingers and a blue corsage appeared. "Something blue, dear."
"Ahh. Right." I slipped it on my wrist, and placed the veil on my head. "Okay. Let's get ready to be married."Chapter End Notes:Next one will cover Dustin. Read, rate, and review
