Chapter 18
Ch. 18
I don't know how long we spent under that old tree together but it felt like eternity there spent with my love. Me making such sweet love to the beautiful Jenavee. Eventually we just lay there under that warm sun looking deep into each others eyes, while Jenavee lay on top of me with her head on my naked chest. Then out of nowhere a soft green blanket fell onto the two of us.
"Oh Donovin, I had no idea that you loved me so." She looked up at me and kissed me. "If only we could spend the rest of our lives here. Just the two of us, no one else." I reached up and brushed her hair back and realized that she looked a little different. Then I realized that the red ribbons in her hair weren't there anymore
"Jenavee."
"Yes my love?"
"What happened to your ribbons that were in your hair?" She reached up and ran her hand threw her hair to not find them.
"I do not know." Then I realized that something was pressing into my chest. I looked down and blushed. But then I saw something red. I looked closer and realized that there in the middle of her large breasts was a red fin.
"Well I think I found something." She looked between us and blushed.
"I do not understand? Why did my fins move from my head down to my chest?" I smiled and ran my hand threw her beautiful green hair.
"I think you just evolved Jenavee." She looked up from her chest to meet my gaze.
"You really think I evolved?" I nodded.
"I guess the only thing is if you will be the same when we wake up from this Nirvana." I kissed her.
"What is a Nirvana?" I smiled.
"Nirvana is a place like heaven without being there." She nodded.
"Well I guess the only way to find out if I have evolved, would be to wake up." So I nodded and closed my eyes and when I reopened them a beautiful Gardevoir was sleeping right next to me with a smile on her face. I leaned over and gave that Gardevoir a kiss as she slowly opened her eyes and gave me a gentle smile. "I hope that is how you are going to be waking me up from now on." I smiled and kissed her again.
"Well it would seem that our wish has come true Jenavee." She reached up with one hand and felt around her hair while her other went to her chest. After checking to see if her horns were still on her head and finding that they were instead on her chest. She gave a happy little squeal and hugged me.
"I thought that I would only evolve when I had enough fighting experience."
"Well I understand that some types of Pokemon evolve not by experience, but by love from their trainers. And by how much I love you Jenavee you could probably evolve several more times." With that we both had a happy little laugh and then with another kiss, then we went back to sleep.
I was the first to wake up and saw that Jenavee was still asleep with her arms wrapped around me. So as not to disturb her I slowly got out of her arms and crept out of the sleeping bag to get dressed and slipped on my sword. Then the memories of what happened last night came back and I couldn't stop smiling. 'I had fallen in love with a Pokemon and possible made love to one as well.' I looked back and saw Jenavee sleeping peacefully there and I thought what the hell. I was not in love with what she was, I was in love with who she was. So I got out of the tent and started to get breakfast cooking. I released Rena.
"Ok Rena, if you could go out and gather up some more sticks again we can get breakfast started." She nodded and was about to run off when she stopped and walked over to me and started to sniff me. "What are you doing Rena?" Rena continued to sniff me until she sneezed then nodded to me and ran into the forest. I wondered if she smelled Jenavee on me, but I put that thought to the back of my mind and concentrated on getting breakfast started. I waited for a while until I started to get worried. The last time Rena had brought the wood for the fire she only took a few minutes, but she still hadn't shown up. So I placed everything to the side and headed off in the direction Rena had run off to.
I searched for quite a while until I started to hear some soft whimpering. It sounded like a small dog when their master would take a news paper to it. I followed the sound to where I had heard the whimpering coming from. I eventually found the source of the whimpering and saw that it was Rena. She was sitting on a rock overlooking the stream near our camp.
"Why did she have to do that. Why did he choose her. I know I have not been with him for all that long, but why her?" At first I thought that it was Jenavee that was talking to me from back at the campsite, but when I saw the tears fall off Rena's muzzle I knew who had said that. 'Is it really that time? Has Rena really learned how to talk?' I slowly walked out of the bushes.
"Well there you are Rena. I was really worried that something happened to you." I stopped a little ways away from her as she turned and I could easily see tears in her eyes. "Oh Rena what's wrong. Did you really want to sleep with us last night? Or is it something else?" Rena jumped off the rock and into my chest where I caught her. She didn't say anything, just cried onto my chest. I guess Rena had feelings for me as well. So I carried her back with me back to our campsite. Most of the way back Rena cried into my chest. I didn't know she had her heart set on me. So along our way back I started to scratch behind her ears. Finally when we were a little ways away from the campsite she stopped crying and started leaning into my scratching.
"Well it would seem that you are feeling better Rena. Now how about we look for some sticks so we wont be eating a cold breakfast." Rena looked up at me then nodded. "That's my girl." I set her down on the ground and she turned around to face me. "I know what, why don't we have a race to see who can collect the most sticks and return to the campsite the fastest." Rena happily started bouncing around. "Alright, on your marks, get set, GO!"
With that Rena happily ran off into the forest and I ran the opposite direction and started to collect the firewood. Of course Rena being as small as she was, she was going to collect the small pieces to wood, while I would get the larger ones to keep the fire going. I was almost done when I heard a yelp. I quickly turned and headed to where I heard the yelp fearing the worst.
I eventually found a swarm of Beedrills hovering over something. I was thinking that these bees had caught something then an image popped into my mind. Rena had stumbled onto a Beedrill nest and had gotten attacked. I pulled out my sword and as I reached the edge of the bushes I could see something wrapped up in white thread, right beneath several Beedrills. I lunged and cut the first ones head right off it's shoulders. Their was a spurt of blood then the thing fell to the ground with it's body and wings still twitching.
"Alright, if you don't want the same treatment, then leave immediately!" The Beedrills were not used to have someone attack back, so they just hovered there, until one of them flew forward and tried to use a twin needle attack on me. I wasn't going to have any of that and with a quick flick of my wrist, removed it's two front stingers, which would have been a persons hands. This got the rest of the Beedrills attention. They started to swarm, but when I got into my ready stance to fight they all turned stinger and fled. (Imagine a skateboarder with her weight leaning forward) I dropped my blade and fell to my knees near the white threaded bundle. I reached out and slowly placed a hand on top of the wrapped up form.
The wrapped thing jumped a little and with that, as well as my heart. Whatever this thing was it was still alive. So I quickly picked up my sword an ran it carefully along its side and opened the thread, and sure enough there was Rena. Rena had her eyes shut tight and was trembling.
"Thank Mew. Rena its all right now. Its me Donovin." Rena slowly opened her eyes and looked up at me. When she saw me tears flowed from her eyes.
"Oh master." She jumped out of her cocoon and into my chest. There she started to bawl.
"I am so sorry Rena. I had no idea that this place was so dangerous." I slowly stroked her head. "Lets get out of here before any more of those things show up." So I put my sword back into it's sheath, and ran back to camp, completely forgetting about the firewood. Once there I saw Jenavee tending a fire near the tent.
"Donovin, where have you been? I have been so worried about...... What has happened to Rena?" I sat down next to the fire and told Jenavee what had happened. "Well thank Mew you were close by." I nodded.
"I had no idea that there was a Beedrill nest near here, otherwise I would never have sent Rena out like I did. I'm so sorry Rena, this was all my fault." Tears started to form in my eyes at the thought of loosing her. And thinking that it was I who sent her out there looking for wood. Jenavee handed me a cup.
"Here, get her to drink this. It will help to calm her down." I nodded. After a while she stopped bawling and I helped her to drink a little of the drink. After drinking a little of the drink, I could see Rena visibly start to relax. "It looks like the drink is starting to take affect. She is going to fall asleep and stay that way for a while." I nodded.
"How long will she asleep?"
"She did not drink all that much of the tea, so I would say for the next few hours. By your time."
"Thanks Jenavee." I stroked Rena's head as she slipped off into a comfortable sleep. "So what happened while I was gone." I looked at her. She got up only to sit down next to me and then faced me.
"When I woke up and tried to reach out to you, I realized that you were not in the bag with me. I got a little scared until I reached out with my mind to find you, and realized that you were just outside, making breakfast. So I went back to sleep. When I woke up next time, I reached out again and this time you were a little farther off, but collecting wood. So I thought I would help with the meal and started a fire and put some water to heat up. That is when you came through the woods and scared me. Please Donovin, if you are ever going out like that again, please tell me so I do not worry."
"I promise Jenavee." After having a quick breakfast, I broke down our tent and I recalled Rena. So I picked up my pack and swung it onto my shoulder and we started off. After walking for quite a while we stopped and sat down next to a small stream. I released Feebas into the stream so it could swim around a bit and I pulled out some trail mix for Jenavee and I to share. After a while Jenavee spoke up.
"Not that I do not mind a nice walk Donovin, but where are we going?" I closed up the bag full of trail mix and looked at her.
"Well Jenavee...." I stopped and looked back to the river and saw that Feebas was swimming a little deeper under the water. So making sure that we wouldn't be overheard I tapped my head. Jenavee nodded and I felt her slip into my mind. I opened my eyes and sure enough we were back in the nirvana. I turned and I saw Jenavee was standing right next to me. I took her hand and walked over to the tree and sat down and had her lay against my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and said.
"I hope you don't mind, but I don't want Feebas to hear what I have to say." She nodded.
"I understand Donovin. It is not every day you find out that your whole life is one big lie."
"Do you hate me for giving you that information, Jenavee?" She didn't answer me right away.
"When I first found out about that. I could not stop crying, but when you took me into your arms and kissed me. It was like all my fears just melted away." She turned her head up to me and we shared a short kiss. "And then, I do not know. It was like I did not care about that. As long as I am here with you." We shared another long kiss, before Jenavee slowly broke it. "So tell me, where are we going?"
"Well I heard that there were two types of gods that ruled over this land. The first could control time and the other, well at least I heard, it controls space." The sun set and the stars came out.
"You mean that kind of space?" She pointed towards the sky.
"Yes and more. I heard that it can also distort or change it."
"What do you mean distort?"
"Legend says that he can open a doorway into another dimension." Jenavee looked up at me with a confused look. "And I think if we can find that God, we might be able to ask it if it could open a doorway that would allow all of us to travel to my world." Jenavee practically jumped out of my lap.
"You mean that there is an honest to goodness chance that I could go with you?" I nodded. If that tree wasn't there I would have sworn that Jenavee would have knocked me flat.Chapter End Notes:Disclaimer: All publicly recognizable characters, settings, etc. are the property of their respective owners.
