Journey to Another World 3
Ch. 2

For the remainder of the night I decided to keep both the girls in their balls. As I sat on the edge of the bed and cried. It seemed the Rena was really suffering from her heat and knowing what happened to dogs back in my world, she was likely to be either taken by some random Pokemon out there, or jump on me to satisfy her needs. If that were to happen, I knew that it would utterly destroy our friendship together or worse.

So with my mind made up I unclipped both their balls and placed them on the desk while I walked into the shower and took a cold one. Hoping that the cold water would calm down my nerves. Unfortunately, the only thing that the cold shower was able to do was make me shiver. Once that was done I dried off and got dressed and picked up both their balls and clipped them onto my belt, but before I reached for the doorknob I stopped in my tracks and thought.

'I need to talk with Jenavee and see if she can explain a few things to Rena.' So after grabbing a quick bit to eat from the cafeteria in the center I returned with a few things for the girls and released Jenavee once we were back in the room.

She didn't even look around the room as I sat down on the beds edge and hung my head. "I take it that things did not go that well with Rena then." I shook my head.

"She seems to be totally caught up in her heat now, and has got it in her head that she has feelings for me." Jenavee walked over to me, knelt down in front of me, then took my hands in hers. "Jenavee..." I looked into her eyes. "I just don't want to hurt her."

She gave me sympathetic smile and nodded to me. "Sure. I understand. I will take with Rena and explain a few things to her. So while I do that, you should go down and wash your cloths." She said the last part in a giggle, as I leaned over and smelt my shirt and made a retching sound. Which got the both of us to laugh.

Only from the laugh it slowly turned into sobs, then without warning I grabbed Jenavee and pulled her into a hug and cried onto her shoulder. 'He might be our master. But he is still a person, and each person has to go through troubled times.' She reached up and stroked my back.

After a while I finally released Jenavee from the hug and she gave me a smile. "I'm sorry Jenavee. I didn't know what came over me." She just gave me a smirk and nodded. So gathering my dirty cloths together I walked to the door and released Rena into the room just as I closed the door.

Rena looked frantically around the room, then finally settled her gaze on Jenavee. She quickly jumped on over to her and grabbed her arms. "Jenavee, where is our master! I need to talk to him. I...I...I need him." As she frantically continued to look around the room.

'Donovin was right. Rena does seem to be taken in by her heat.' "He has gone down to the laundry to wash his cloths." Rena quickly let go of Jenavee's arms then ran to the door and tried to open it. Unfortunately for her, Jenavee had foreseen this and used her psychic powers to keep the door shut.

Looking over her shoulder Rena looked at Jenavee and gave her a snarl. "Jenavee, let me out. I need to be with Donovin!" As she continued to try and turn the doorknob, with increasing force.

"Not until you calm down and come over here so that the two of us can talk." Rena continued to try and force the door open a few more times but realized that Jenavee's psychic powers and level were quite beyond her and she wouldn't be able to brake through her psychic hold with physical strength.

Rena finally let go of the doorknob and slowly walked over to Jenavee to sit down on the bed. Then gave Jenavee a pained expression, "But it hurts so much Jenavee. And I have never experienced so much pain." As she grabbed at her lower stomach with both her paws.

"I understand that you need to be with him Rena, but there is something that you need to understand." She placed her hand on Rena's shoulder and Rena looked up at her. "Right now your being effected by your heat. And if you were to be with Donovin right now, you would only hurt him...and you."

"I do not understand. How would I hurt him. I would never do such a thing to him." She looked down at the floor. "I do not understand what it is about him, but I seem to be drawn to him right now." She looked up to the door, as if debating with herself if she could break through there and get at Donovin. But instead she turned back to Jenavee as if telling her to continue or why she would hurt him.

"Donovin cares about you a great deal Rena. And he believes that if you were to be with him right now, that you would destroy that special bond that we both share for him." She rubbed Rena on her back. "So, tomorrow he is going to take you to someone that can help you with your problem and you can return to being your old self."

"But it hurts so much Jenavee." Jenavee took Rena into her arms and hugged her tight. Like a big sister would do to a younger sister.

'I just hope that this plan of his really helps, and that he is wrong about that person.'

-----(Switching back)-----

It didn't take me all that long to wash up my cloths and return to the room with the pile of them. But before I grabbed the doorknob I heard, "But it hurts so much Jenavee."

'I just hope that this plan really helps, and that he is wrong about that person.'

'I guess that they've been talking for a while. I just hope that Rena understands what's going to happen tomorrow.' 'Jenavee?'

Inside the room I heard Jenavee let out a squeak and then some fast breathing. 'Donovin. You startled me.'

'Sorry about that. I just didn't want to interrupt your conversation with Rena.' I paused for a minute. 'How is she?'

'You were right. She is being effected quite strongly by her heat. I recommend that you prepare yourself once you open the door.' So I took a heavy sigh then opened the door to see that Rena quickly look towards me, but stopped herself from jumping up and coming over to me. To which I was sure that she would tackle me to the floor, but thankfully she didn't.

She got up from the bed and slowly walked over to me and stopped a few paces away from he. She had her head lowered and both her paws held together over her stomach while shaking. "Jenavee and I have been talking and I have come to the decision that you just want what is best for me. So, I will go with you tomorrow and see this breeder." Then in a small lowered voice, "If only to return things to what they were."

I was glad that things had worked out like this, so I threw my cloths onto the bed and walked over to her, pulled her into a hug, and kissed her on her forehead. "Thank you Rena. Once were though tomorrow, we can return to be the happy little family that we've been before."

So with a quick nod the three of us climbed into bed and I turned out the light. About an hour after I had turned out the lights did something in the back of my mind popped into my head. 'Maybe I should recall Rena, since she is suffering so much from her heat.' Looking over to her snuggled up to my right side, I couldn't find it in my heart to do that to her. After all, I still cared about her, and returning her to her ball might hurt her more than me rejecting her earlier.

The next day the three of us just walked around the town, admiring the different sights and the abandoned team Galactic building. Though the real thing that caught my attention was the old crumbling statue that lay towards the East end of the town. Due to it's age I could tell that the thing had to have been built many upon many years ago. It depicted a great four legged Pokemon, (Of course).

The statue of course was built out of some sort of clay like material, so much of it's figure had eroded over time. Though the parts that were distinguishable was the fact that it had a tail, some sort of fin on it's lower back just above it's tail, as well as behind it's long neck, it's head seemed to be very long in the back as if saying that it supported an overly large brain, and finally some sort of chest plate protecting it's front. Everything else had fallen off or eroded to time.

Walking up to the statue I looked down at the inscription but like the figure, the lettering was mostly eroded. And like I could really understand the ancient writings that seemed to be written in Unknown.

So after spending the remainder of the day just walking around the city, I turned back to my girls and saw Rena. I could see that now she was fully engulfed in her heat, as she seemed to say too and fro, and continuously grab at the fur of her lower stomach. So looking up to the sun I could easily see that it was after it's highest point and decided to move on to the breeders home.

With a short walk the three of us arrived at the mans home and I turned to face my girls. "Well here we are. I'm sorry that you've had to suffer through this Rena, but in a few short minutes you'll get the help you need to overcome your heat and things will return to normal." Though I knew that things would never be the same again. To which Rena nodded to me but continued to sway.

Looking back to Jenavee she nodded to me and I returned her. After turning back to the door I knocked on it while clipping her ball to my belt and awaited the man inside. This time however I didn't have to knock a second time as the sliding wood panel opened and the same greedy eyes smiled at me. "I was wondering what time you would show up." He looked past me and saw Rena then gave out a small chuckle. "And it seems that you brought your Lucario with you this time." He didn't say another word as he slid the panel closed and quickly opened the door for us.

"Please do come in." He said as the two of us walked into his more tidy house. He seemed better rested this time, as his eyes didn't have that bloodshot look to them, he was dressed in a white lab coat that went down to his shins, a clean white shirt with black pants on, but he covered his eyes once the door was open with some shades (As if looking outside into the sunlight hurt his eyes).

All the news papers that had littered his floor were gone, and the cloths that'd been removed from the corner that he'd tossed them into. "Since your Lucario is a new guest to my home, I thought it would be kind of nice to allow her to feel like this place is like a second home to her." Which got me to smile. "So why don't the two of you just follow me." As he led us through his home, Rena grabbed onto my arm and shivered.

It didn't take us long before he led us to a door farther back in his home that opened onto a narrow stairwell, that led deep underground. The only light that illuminated the stairs came from somewhere down below so we had to watch our step as he took the lead. "As you've probably guessed, my home is really just a front. I do all my work down here in my laboratory." He let out a laugh. "I couldn't just keep all my work up in my home as you've no doubt guessed. Otherwise my bills for having a larger home would probably skyrocket."

We continued to walk down the stairway. "So how did you manage to have built your lab underground?" I asked him, to which he slowed his pace.

"It's quite simple really. When I was about your age I had decided to become a breeder and decided on breed Diglets or Dugtrio. They helped me to dig out the lab and everything else down here." Just then we took the last step down onto his lab and he spread out his arms wide.
