The roar of fire tinted the nearby forest with shades of red and orange. Eating and destroying everything that was inside the ship. The major shocked of the burning vessel, remembering what had transpired hours before his arrival on this new earth. Falling to his knees as if he had lost something of great meaning. Keiko was the first thing in his mind, remembering that he inserted her into the vessels data storage for control of the ship. Rage, sadness, and fear raced through his mind as he placed his gaze upon the unconscious child in his hands. His new responsibility was the safety of the kid who saved him. Returning his attention before him, he gazed over to shuko who waited next to Shesu wanting to leave the area. The major rose from his position to leave the hellish nightmare before him. Within the blink of an eye they were gone.

Commanders Quarter
Sangheili awoke to the sound of beeping. Squinting through the dimmed room he found his alarm was screaming at him to wake up. Merely waving his hand over the alarm, silence was returned to the once dismal room. The Commander straddled his legs over the bed getting himself ready to wake up. Remember his dream of Sangheilios, his home world which he thought was beautiful. His love for his home world was only matched by his hatred for the Prophets. During his dream he saw his world being destroyed by the Flood, the scourge of the galaxy. He saw nothing but destruction in the wake as his brethren were being used as tools for the gravemind controlling them. Suddenly he opened his eyes as to what he thought was real. Everything returned to reality as he scanned the room, realizing he was just dreaming.
"These dream, are they real? or are they mere illusions." The commander felt depressed about the dreams. Thinking they could mean anything. Sensing his time to get up he stretched his muscles as well as the mandibles that made up his jaws. He shot a glance to the door that held his suit that he received from his people who made such Armour. Rising from his position he walked over to his locker getting a chilling sensation from the ships interior. Placing his hand on the holographic projection that operated the door, typing in the key combination unlocking the door. Clicking noises indicated the locking mechanism was releasing its grip on the door. Sudden images rushed through the commanders head from his Tour on planet Earth. Gruesome images of combat, brute chieftains killing his brethren and jackal snipers killing humans. Shaking his head of these images he resumed to equip his Armour. This new model is to increase the speed and strength ten-fold then that of the earlier models. His Armour holds his status in the ranks, White for primary and gold for Secondary. This Armour was made specifically to his anatomy but he felt different to it.
*Food seems to be in order.* Thinking about last night were he went right to bed without food. He felt exhausted last night for reasons unknown to him. Deciding he should visit the infirmary after his meal. Equipping the last piece of Armour which was his basic helmet with extreme modifications. His helmet was able to meld together in deep space for oxygen. There was other applications to his helmet, though highly classified.
"My stomach aches! Time for some food." Placing his hand on his stomach to quell the pain from rising as he walked towards the door. During his walk down to the Cafeteria he noticed odd things around him. There was no morning shift to watch for security purposes. The commander started to become uneasy, as if being watched. The Sangheili turned on his scanners to see if anyone was near him, to much of his annoyance he found nothing. After his time walking to the elevator he found his way to the cafeteria more settling. He found a few of his brothers having breakfast in the cafeteria, the elite clad in blue waved towards the commander to come over. Feeling better than he did minutes ago he strode over to the table that held three other elites. One in Blue Armour, another in Red, and the last one in black Armour. The first of them to speak was the one in Black.
"Commander, what brings you here at this hour?" The elite in black asked his commander with a questionable tone. The others were more interested in filling their stomachs than speaking.
"What brings me down here is hunger for food, and decided I would also visit the Infirmary. Woke up this morning rather misplaced." said the commander with uncertainty to his brethren, the others stopped eating and turned their attention to the commander as if on cue with his statement. The elite in red spoke.
"Brother, What do you mean by misplaced? I hope our commander is feeling well as for we have a mission to uphold." This elite had hoped that his commander was feeling well, he saved him out of a burning wreckage during the fight against the brutes.
"All is well brothers. I just have a feeling about what happened last night might be more than what it seems. I wish to know why I was exhausted." Commander felt like he was speaking to himself with his last statement. Wondering if it was just a fluke or there might be something wrong with him. The Elite in blue sat there staring at his real blood related brother. Thinking to himself.
The Commander noticed his brother staring at him with an odd look, thinking to himself. Elite clad in blue noticed his commander staring back, realizing this he shifted his glance back to his food continuing to eat. As if to break the ice the elite in blue spoke.
"So...Commander what is our mission?" The blue elite spoke softly just enough for his brother to hear him. Shooting a surprised glance at his brother who never speaks often taking mental note to chat with him some more.
"Well....Our mission is to co-operate with the humans on this. Even though we are on different grounds we are allies none-the-less. We have gained information that one of their advanced ships has gone missing. No contact within 24 hours. Last known location was said to be in the Alpha Centaury System." The elites were all showing signs of confused emotions, remembering what had happened during the war. First it was just the Covenant against Humans, then there was a civil revolt. Next thing that happens is the elites side with the humanity, knowing the truth. The first to speak was the elite clad in red.
"Commander, Why send us when they have ships of their own?" Red elite asking in aggravation. The commander looked back to the red elite and continued to explain the obviousness of that statement.
"The elite high council has sent us knowing that the human race has very few ships in their arsenal. Twelve total excluding the missing ship. While we have an estimated Twenty-Nine ships in our fleet." The elite in black was the one to speak next as he held his stature.
"That doesn't explain why they are sending us to find a missing ship in this explored region of space." Looking towards the elite in black explaining the real reason they are on this mission.
"Quite right. The real reason is that a certain type of Armour and specimen is on that ship that could prove useful to the Council. The council wishes to help the humans in this endeavor to change our relationship with them, little by little if it must." Commander spoke knowing full well of the reasons that were spoken of during his time with the elite high council.
[Flash Back]
The council was Thirty-one members strong. Ranging from different elites of different ranks and ethnicity. This type of power is equal to all so if one member suggest something that would harm or destroy the Council they would dictate on said action or course.
"Elite Captain of the Silent Shade you are called forth for your answer on our Classified mission we deemed. Will you Accept or Decline said offer? Take note we will not look down upon you if you decline we will merely find another."
"No, I will accept said mission so that it may benefit our race as a whole." The Commander clad in gold and red bowed down before the will of the council showing his loyalty and humility.
"Do not bow down before us, this is no longer the covenant. You are here with your own people, act accordingly." The elite clad in councilor Armour in the middle was being spoken to by the leader of the Defense Division.
"Captain, there has been a request by our Defense Division that you get an upgrade to your standing Armour, and as of now you will wear the rank stated in this message and information on said Armour. Now go with post haste so that you may aid the council in our time of need!" The captain rose as if to speak back to the council.
"I will not fail the council, not with something as this important." With his last words he left the council not as a Captain but as a Commander.

*Running through the forest with the wind passing reminds me of Earth back home* Tedeschi seeing how familiar this reality is with his own. Except this sentient race was only a child's cartoon show. Remembering the beautiful landscape he imagined from his dreams. Dreams were all he had left, as well as his Armour. Returning his attention to the path ahead where he had followed shuko and shesu, looking past his leads to a safe haven, a large building began to protrude from the horizon like some movie cliche. Symbols on the top of the building said PC with a strange insignia like that on the strange spheres Shasui saw.
"What is that thing?! Um...are we heading to that building?" Shesu looked back and began to say something, the only thing he could hear from him was a bark and a low voice behind it. Accepting the statement from him as a yes. Slowing down to a power walk, holding rhuto was beginning to give the major a burning sensation. Hoping that he could rest he walked inside the building to be caught dumbstruck of the women behind the counter. Her hair was insanely pink with a white nurse outfit. In some ways to the major it suited the women. The pink haired nurse looked up to find a strange suited man inside her center. The major shook his head returning to his walk as he made his way to the nurse who stared intently at the man.
"Ma'am I need your help. This kid has a Concussion and I believe I have one as well." The nurse went wide-eye as he heard the man speak with a deep voice. Soon as she heard this she pressed a button, and pink creatures with a stretcher took the boy from me and the women motioned me to follow her.
"Um... If you would follow me... I can see if you have a concussion." The women was obviously uneasy about shasui. The major chuckled to himself realizing his figure seemed intimidating to others. He told the woman to relax.
"There's no need to wary of me, I wouldn't dare harm a civilian." Tedeschi explained to the nurse who eased up. She resumed walking in the long hallways that line the building with rooms separated by noise-canceling walls. One room held a strange machine with a multitude of cameras and sensors. The women took out a key to unlock the door.
"Have to keep certain rooms locked so that no one goes into to tamper with devices such as these. This form of a cat scan is easier when the patient is awake." Tedeschi was not interested in this tech. The devices back home that took monitoring vitals and health systems to a new level were incredible compared to this rather large device. The nurse motioned the giant man to sit in the seat with the sensors.
"You sit here while I start scanning." Shasui placed his helmet on a small table next to the door as he sat in this white cushioned chair. wondering about the child and his friends, the major asked the women.
"Will the kid be alright? And the ones that came with me?" Nurse Joy stole a look over to the long black haired man. She didn't notice his face when he took off his helmet and was dumbstruck again. The mans eyes seemed to scream horror into the depths of her soul, with deep silver eyes.
"Oh-My...I mean yes the child will be fine, but one of his pokemon needs to be inside a pokeball before coming in." Shasui smiled at the nurse while closing his eyes. Thinking to himself while she turned the machine on.
*So that's what these beings are, Pokemon! Kind of a strange name for a species, then again the elites are no different. I wonder why that kid was helping me though, seems to be innocent enough to trust in this place.* Shasui wondering about everything transpiring around him. Thinking about the child who saved him from a mysterious organization, and the man he captured who was still with the large pokemon outside. sudden images of keiko came pouring into his mind, anger and fear were his emotions. Soft beeping noises came from the console the women was working on, indicating some sort of information for the nurse. As tedeschi was sitting idly by waiting for her to tell him the bad news, hearing nothing he turned to see her face pale white as if she saw a ghost.
"Is everything alright?" The nurse looked back at the man as if she thought he wasn't real. Her fear quickly surfaced as she was reading the information from the console.
"Is everything alright?! Your entire skeleton has titanium graphed to it. Also your jaw structure has been reformed, your teeth as well! What are You?!" Nurse joy was ready to go airborne from this insane situation she was in. She didn't know if this guy was human or not. Tedeschi took a deep sigh in exhaustion from all that was happening to him.
"I will tell you but first, I wish to see if the pokemon outside are alright." Shasui holding his face forward refusing to look at the woman with his eyes. The nurse stood there thinking about what the man really was, wasting no time to anger the man she agreed to help him.
"Ye-Yes, lets go then." She was obviously shaken from the events. Shasui looked at the women smiling to her. Rising from the metal chair as he walked to the door waiting for the nurse to follow out with him. The nurse typing in the command for the shutdown sequence of the machine before leaving the room. She began walking towards the door when she stopped next to the mans helmet. She extended one hand to pick the helmet up for the man, finding out the helmet was alien to her. The helmet was much more advance than the technology they had. Shasui was confused at what he saw, the women was inspecting his helmet as if to understand it. Nurse joy looked back at the man who was watching her, surprised she held out the helmet to him.
"Thank you, now. Can we go see if the pokemon are still at the front?" Shasui was getting impatient with the woman.
"Yes, but before we do I need to get the pokeballs from the child you brought in." she began walking out of the room to lock it before leaving it alone. The man waited with his helmet in hand for the nurse to finish locking the door.
"Alright then, I will wait outside. I'm going to go see if the pokemon are still there." Shasui turned on his heels and began walking down the hallway before the women. What she saw proved her thoughts about him. He wasn't human.
