I thought it would help the writing community in general to collect a thread of a bunch of tips and guides to writing. Not only would this (theoretically) improve the quality of new fics, but perhaps everyone can learn a thing or two.
Feel free to post guides and/or links to guides (with a description) and I'll update this list accordingly. So without further ado, I'll start off with this link that I've found a read through helps tremendously.
The Cave of Dragonflies Writing Guide General tips and guidance for pokemon fanfiction writers, both old and new. Can't say how much I kept these ideas in mind when I was writing. Good advice on what to avoid, and how to get better.
