The Fics section has been around for quite a while in its current incarnation (2012+), and before that in some form or another at least as far back as 2007. Aside from a small hiccup in 2011-2012, the section has pretty much stayed on eFiction and hasn't really changed much in terms of features.
Today, I'm happy to announce a large upgrade to the Fics section: Tags ! In the same vein as the gallery, you can now tag your stories with any pokémon, character, warning or tag term you like, not just the previously predetermined options. These tags are now displayed with the story summary and can be searched or filtered out of a search. This will make telling what's in a story at a glance simple, as well as giving you more control over your searches.
As with any new custom feature, there may be bugs or areas for improvement. Be sure to let us admins know what you think! Happy Reading!
