I remember back in 2006 when the site was possibly at its height how everyday you could go to the fic section and find at least one new story posted up or updated, how you could go to the gallery and see new post almost every few hours and how the forum was almost always being updated. I think what the site could use is a section in the forum for commissions since there is none here currently. I believe that if a commission section is added that it could start attracting artist and writers back to this site.
Right now the thing that will get agnph off the ground is time. It's been what, a week since it was put into its newest, and by far the nicest looking since the days of yore, form. You can't expect people who were scorned when the old site was thrown into the dark ages to come back in a day, and there's still a lot of damage to clean up behind the scenes.
As far as the fic section, one thing to consider is that many of the old greats have either moved onto bigger and better things, don't post much anyway, or simply have no reason to come to this currently backwater place to load a fic on a whim. Give the site a month or two to settle and let the paint dry, and then see where things stand from there... though, a more active adminship presence in the fic section would be nice to see.
Writing lemons is like auto-fellatio: for some it comes naturally, for others it takes years of practice. But once you can do it, it's one of the best guilty pleasures in the world.
Yeah. Time would be a wonderful thing at the moment. I think in a few months this new site might just be up in full swing again. And my stories may not be as good as some other people's stories, but I can do my part and make a commission post for my stories :)

That's not that hard. I mean, how many sites revolve around pokemon porn? Like... 3?
AGNPH is the website which is primairy focused on Pokémon porn, however there are many, many sites which have PokéPorn in their galleries. A drawback of AGNPH is that it's meant as archive, not as a newspaper with the last Pokémon art of all the internet on the first page of the gallery. Nothing is bad with reuploading old art to the gallery, but it could scare newcomes away because they've seen that art already at the other places.
I've always wonder, if being able to add cleaner art of Pokemon in the gallery would bring more people here. Like people can write clean fics, why not allow people to upload clean fan arts?
I think it's better to disallow that, because otherwise more 18- persons are lured in the gallery. Which would cause (legal) troubles for AGNPH and the admin team.

One other thing to encourage that will get more traffic: Once the gallery is more straightened out, post images.
Go to these furry sites, such as: e621, Fur Affinity, ect., and upload images. The more images by popular artists, and the more diverse the artwork, the more we are going to attract. If someone searches for an artist on Google, you want us to be on that list for the sites who have that artist, and the more people we have looking for artwork here, the more artists that are attracted, the more artists that are attracted the more the forums are viewed, then the fics, ect.

Now what I believe is the main key factor that will help push this site back to its glory days is the fic section because unlike any other site this one has a lemon section that is actually good.
And segregated from the art section. Direct competition between art and writing is no contest, just like direct competition between Seattle Sounders FC and Manchester U. (Yes, I still remember that Man U. 7-0 Sounders friendly.)
I do feel obligated to point out that SoFurry was originally YiffStar, which billed itself as a story archive, but hosted art as well. As I was only ever a casual browser of that site (and I haven't seen SoFurry at all since the change) I don't know if SoFurry still allows stories, but I wouldn't be interested either way, because SoFurry put stories by and large with the art.
It's also why I've only ever posted here as opposed to everywhere else. My writing is middling, and even if it were better a detailed sex scene in a story takes longer to process than seeing a pornographic picture.
