What kind of rigs are you guys running. I use a gaming rig as I like gaming now and then and play Guild Wars 2
I use a custom built pc.
OS - window 7 ultimate Processor - AMD Phenom, quadcore 3.6ghz OC to 4ghz 8 gig ram 1T HDD Blu-ray drive (Can't record just play back) Normal lightscribe optical drive 2x sapphire ATI Radeon 7700 graphics cards in crossfire. Due to that model not consuming as much energy as some of the others.
It's kind of old now so I do want to upgrade the system. Now I know some of you are really proud of your set ups, sadly mine is getting on a little, so what do you guys run for gaming or other demanding programs like art of graphics designs etc? :D

My current gaming rig:
CPU: i5-2500k, overclocked to 4.5 GHz stable, cooled with a Hyper 212 EVO; I'm happy with this, no need for Ivy Bridge or Haswell as they don't justify an upgrade right now. GPU: Gigabyte GeForce 560 Ti, stock clocks and voltage; I plan on upgrading to a 770 or 780 soon. Mobo: Asus P8Z68-V/Gen III Hard Drive: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB; grabbed while the prices were $60 each, should've gone with at least 2 more. RAM: 2 x 4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz sticks of something, I forget the brand but it's RAM.. OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit SP1 Misc stuff: A 1920 x 1080 monitor, Asus Brand; a $13-15 keyboard, Logitech g700 wireless mouse, 2.0 speakers from yesteryear, some Asus DVD writer (Blu-Ray will find its way to me later :P ), a gold rated 850 watt power supply (I forget the brand, it has modular cables though)
That's about all I can remember of it. The rig was built about 2 years ago.
Currently I'm using a dinosaur of a laptop that is the Dell Latitude D810. I plan to get a Haswell laptop, specifically one with an i7-4750HQ processor for the battery life and light to medium gaming purposes in the near future.

At least a month ago, one of my laptops (HP, hurr durr) had a RAM slot totally die on me, leaving me with only a 4 GB stick to limp along with >.<
Edit: Rereading this topic has spurred me to at least post the specs of the current laptop I'm using;
Brand: HP dv6-6100 CTO, um, I think >.o CPU: Intel i7-2620m Replaced with Intel i7-2630qm, just because I can. RAM: 2x4GB Now only 1x4GB DDR3 somethingoranotherbrand RAM Hard Drive: 7200RPM 640GB HDD Limping along with an ancient 32GB SSD nowadays. -w- Previous HDD apparently died from bearing failure. OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit GPU: AMD Radeon 6770m and/or Intel HD 3000, 1080p capable screen at 60Hz
That's about it I guess. -w-
Okay, last edit. I was thinking of gutting this laptop and building a HTPC with it. Go figure.
Update to this laptop's charger. Due to unruly 5-7 year old kids running about, one managed to knock the laptop off a table, rendering the charger near useless. It's now jury-rigged to charge again, albeit I now consider it a potential fire hazard, what with bare wires in very close proximity to each other. -w-

I changed the mouse to the 2013 DeathAdder from Razer, but everything else is the same. I built the rig myself, cost me around $900 CA
My current setup, too.
