It's been a week already. Dad has been training hard to become the best daddy of the army, and he's just been taught a new move. It looks so cool and flashy, and Ami and I have been left amazed when he showed us on a dummy. Where did it go, though?
Mom said that the good girls always have to head to school and learn to become smarter and respectful girls. From the sounds of it, I believe it's going to be fun! Ami and I got our uniforms for school and they look the same. I always loved the idea of looking like a twin to my sister, and it's cute.
Next morning, Mom and Dad take us to the school, where every other kid like us, is wearing the same uniform! Soon enough, we head into class, where a Dragonair lady is te teacher and we have classmates! We'll learn and have fun!

I have been listening and writting in my notebook for about two hours and all I had to do is remain silent. How boring! How could they lie to me about this? ... I hear a bell, and the teacher says it's time for recess. Everyone walks out to the playground, and it's way more fun in here! The kids are running around and playing with each other! I head in and play with Ami, and some more friends, one of which was a Litten! We had a lot of fun, but it was shorter than the class times.
"Okay, Ami. I guess we gotta–"
I suddenly see Ami running the opposite direction and into the nearby forest. The teacher taught us that wandering off alone is dangerous, especially as a kid, and strangers might be at the other side. Never talk with strangers, kids! I head into the forest quick, and start calling for Ami, shouting her name.
I then get tapped from behind, and she giggles.
"I-I was scared! Where have you gone to?!" I pout at her, and she calmly explains that Mom and Dad taught her how to use Leafshroud. She kmows the same technique as me! Still, as much as it made me happy, she still had me really worried. I forgive her and we head back to class.

Ami and I learned a lot today, and it was just the basics! It's midday right now, so we head back home, and we knock on the door.
"Mom, Daddy! We are home from school!" I call out. No response. Ami calls out again, five minutes later. I then get the idea of using my psychic powers to open the door. We walk in, and look around, expecting lunch and our parents.
But no one was home.
"What if the strangers got them?" Ami asks.
"I doubt that. Dad would have done away with them if they wanted us. Hey, what if they went on an adventure to the forest, like in the movies?" I say, smiling.
"I think so? Let's go outside."
Ami and I then head outside and look around the streets, avoiding stranger sightings, and then we head into the forest, looking for them in that scary place... We eventually find a strange slab with words in it. We didn't know how to read, so, we kept it in our bag and started to head back. However, we have found an issue... Where did we come from? How far is home? Where are mom and daddy?!
—
Earlier... Der and Shift went back home to do some training, and maybe have some time for themselves, relaxing on the couch and cuddling together. However, training was a top priority, so they got up and started doing lap runs around the building and inside the building, going as far as 200 laps. Soon enough, the sweaty couple went to take a shower, and then take care of lunch. Der and Shift head out for the market to buy some vegetables, berries, liquids and meats, though the queue was rather long for them, taking a hour. Sure, the girls will be fine, right? The couple head home eventually, only to find that Ami's bag is there, and the girls nowhere to be seen.
The father uses his psychic powers to find the whereabouts of the girls and hopefully find them. Soon, they found their children in the forest near the city, which was somewhat far at the same time.
—
Ami and I stayed here for a hour, but then, I got a idea to make Ami feel better. I ask her to follow me to play tag, and reassure her that we will be fine. Her worried frown turns into a smile, and she jumps up in pure joy. She touches me, and with a "Tag! You're it!", she runs off in one direction, as I follow her, deeper into the woods, having no idea what waited for us in there. We eventually run into a strange door embedded to a big tree.
Seeing as someone could live here, we could knock on it and ask for help to get out of here. Before we did, though, the door opened by itself, and no one was behind... We shrug it off and head inside, finding a woody furniture set, a bookshelf, and a electric kitchen with a bowl nearby. Does someone live in this house? Soon, a Espeon girl peeks out from a corner, and squeaks loudly, startling us both!
"W-Who are you?! What are you doing in my house?!" She asks loudly, shuddering. She was just as afraid of us being here, as we were of her sudden reaction.
"I-I dunno... we just... came in. The door opened by itself, and we don't know you." I answer, hoping she'd understand.
"O-Oh... It was... just the wind." She sighs softly. "For a moment I thought you were bullies... I'm sorry..."
"It's fine." Ami smiles, walking closer to her. "We are friendly. I am Ami, and this is my big sis, Eclipse."
"N-Nice to meet you..." She walks out and holds her hand out, wearing a beautiful kimono dress. "I am Sato..."
"Would you like to be our friend and make you company and play with you?" I ask eagerly.
She looks away for a moment, before taking a deep breath.
"Sure, but... not now. I feel two adults in my forest, and I am, well..." She shows us a marking on her right arm, that of a sun. "Like a guardian spirit... However, I can try and walk out to see you somewhere, and meet each other better... If you want to." We were both surprised. Someone with a marking, just like us!
"Well, Sato, I guess we should meet each other after class in the school's playground. Don't be so shy about it!" I tell her joyfully, making her face redden and cover her face with her hands.
"I-I'll try. If it's not much bothering, mind leading me to a grassy backyard, maybe at your home...?" She asks softly.
"Well, I might want to ask daddy if we can let in friends, but for now, we should meet in the playground." Ami says, giggling.
"O-Okay... Are the Vaporeon and Mew your parents? I can teleport you to them..." She asks, to which we nod and she then uses some weird technique to make the world blurry and swirly all of a sudden, before our vision starts reforming and we land on the arms of Mom and Dad. They begun asking where we have wandered to, and we explained everything to them. Dad found it silly that there would be a house in he middle of abandoned forests, but mom took the stone, and she gave me a smooch. I wonder what it says...
Chapter End Notes:
This is chapter 2 for THL, and I finished it at 21:17. It introduces Sato, a Espeon girl(?) who happens to be a 'guardian spirit', and they find a mystic stone tablet. What is it about?
