Story Notes:

Oh and thank you for 10000 views. Wish I could do something special...Oh wait, I did. New goal: 20000(on top 10s!)(Man the competition is fierce.)I'm a writer. I tried writing on fur affinity, but the server there has crashed and no one has seriously commented on my stories. I'm hoping for some comments on this new story which I am releasing here first. Axe that, only here. Especially since I'm so close to getting on the top ten for most words(about 20000 more) and potentially most reads(more then 5000 now) I'll put the general disclaimer here. All publicly recognizable characters, settings, etc. are the property of their respective owners, Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures inc, and Pokemon. The original characters and plot are the property of me. I am in no way associated with the owners, creators, or producers of Pokemon. No copyright infringement is intended. If you are offended by anything in this story, then you have a serious problem being offended by something no one force you to read but I don't care enough so don't complain to me if you end up offended.

Chapter 33 The Final Battle

"Greetings." The figure said. "It's been a while hasn't it?"
"It would have been sooner but you were to busy hiding. But now we can finish this!" Mech shouted, gripping his katana.
"Hiding? I'm afraid not. I've been sitting back and watching my pawns enact my master plan." Mewthree taunted.
"What are you talking about?"
"Well this whole journey you've been on has all been for my benefit. Every action has forwarded my plans. You thought you could save the world by defeating me, HA! You've only doomed the world and you didn't even know it. Isn't that right Yan?" He smiled.
"He is very thick." Yan, who leapt out of the ground at that moment agreed.
"What are you doing here?" San snarled.
"Aw, wouldn't you like to know." Yan taunted.
"Enough. Now that you've done all that needed to be done, time to liquidate what is no longer needed." Mewthree said throwing off his cloak and fired an energy blast at Mech who knocked it away with his katana.
"Oh it's on now! ATTACK!" He shouted. He, his friends, and their pokémon all charged Mewthree at once. One explosion and painful landing later, they were all thrown back.
"Look's like he brought a few friends!" glared an angry looking Koga.
"Yeah. I guess we ought to take care of them!" Lt. Surge agreed. The pair had sprung out of no where to attack the group.
"You guys don't stand a chance!" Mech threatened.
"Mech, we'll handle them. You go for Mewthree!" Bob said.
"But-"
"Go! We can hold them off!" Erureido said.
"This is going to feel so good!" Farore smiled dangerously.
"Time for a little payback!" Guma agreed.
"Mech, you've got a job to do. Let us help you do it." Gardie said.
"Right." Mech nodded.
"I'll be right by you to deal with that traitorous bitch, Yan!" San said.
"Wouldn't have it any other way."
"Charge!" Ven shouted. While the others battled Koga and Lt. Surge, Mech and San faced off with Mewthree and Yan. Yan and San charged and locked hands, trying to overwhelm the other. Mech pulled out a handful of Grumpig gems and siphoned all their energy. He focused a good portion of it and fired it at Mewthree who teleported out of the way. He came back above Mech, firing bolts at Mech who teleported a few feet away and levitated towards Mewthree. He swung his katana but Mewthree blocked it with of all things, a giant spoon. Mewthree knocked Mech back and the two went back and forth, neither gaining the upper hand.
San was not having as much trouble. Yan was simply no match for her so at the first opportunity Yan used dig to escape or so San thought until Yan sprang up beneath her and sent San flying.
Mewthree and Mech continued their relentless assaults. Finally, Mewthree caught Mech looking and got a good hit in that sent Mech crashing back to earth. Mewthree descended ceremoniously, charging up a final blast, while using psychic tendrils to hold Mech in place.
"Looks like this is the end." Mech thought. "Shouldn't my life be flashing before my eyes or something?" He wondered. "And why is my backpack beeping?"
"Time for this to end!" Mewthree said.
"Not today!" Mech shouted. He had found what was beeping and hurled it at Mewthree. It was his pokédex. Oak had recently admitted that the anti-theft 'send a message per week or it self destructs' thing was automatic and he had no control over it. And it looked like the week was up. Mech forced his eyes closed as the small device exploded. Mewthree found it all too easy to block the shrapnel, but not the flash of light which blinded him and allowed Mech to escape his bindings. He went for a death blow but Mewthree blocked it anyway.
"You're quite resourceful." Mewthree admitted. On the other side of the battle field San had finally defeated Yan and Koga and Surge were both either dead or too broken to fight.
"Look's like you've lost." Mech said.
"On the contrary, a draw is not a loss." Mewthree said before teleporting further away on the plateau.
"Come back, coward!"
"Oh I'm not running, it's just if you're going to call in friends, I'm going to call in friends too." Mewthree snarled. He pulled a remote control out of nowhere and pressed a button. Behind him two sections of rock folded away and out of them rose two enormous cages. In one, stood the spatial pokémon Palkia. In the other, the temporal pokémon Dialga.
"The two deities!" Ganty said awestruck. "You actually summoned them both!?"
"Yes. Now then, you Spatial Rend!" Mewthree commanded waving at Palkia. "And you, Roar of Time. Fire them there!" He ordered pointing at a spot above our heroes heads. At first they didn't do anything but he pressed other button that electrocuted them until then did. The two attacks merged and created a swirling vortex in the sky that began sucking them in.
"I got you San!" Mech said, having taken the form of a Snorlax to avoid being pulled in. "Is this your plan? Pretty lame."
"Actually, this is just to get you out of the way." Mewthree said, out of range of the vortex.
"Then would you mind telling me your plan?"
"Why would I do that?"
"It's standard super villain procedure. Before they try to kill the hero, they always reveal their evil plot." Mech said frankly.
"Well then. Alright, after you're gone, I and Yan will take your place as the Champion and San. We will increase pokémon rights and decrease human rights. Eventually a war will break out and tear the world apart. Oh and your friend Maya was pretty key too. She is the key because she leads the human resistance and without her there is no war. Then once the pokémon side is doomed, I kill her and impersonate her and any successors. That's why Yan here purposefully lost. So she couldn't become champion. The destruction of the world will be all the sweeter knowing it's all your fault!" Mewthree smiled.
"How is it my fault?"
"If you hadn't become champion, I wouldn't have you to impersonate. Now then, enough. This portal will send you randomly through time. Bye now!" Mewthree said before grabbing Yan and teleporting the pair away.
"Great. Now what?" Bob shouted over the roar of the vortex. Everyone had returned their pokémon except for San and Nabooru who was hanging by a paw to Bob.
"I can't hold on!" Nabooru cried seconds before her paw slipped away. Without thinking Bob hurled his pack, carrying his pokémon at Nabooru.
"Take care of her Naetoru!" Bob said as she and the pack fell into the vortex. If anyone had been looking, though no one was except the narrator, they would have seen her glowing white as she vanished from sight. Then Ganty and Ven fell into it. Bob gave up and went quietly. The last three were fine for now, Gardie's claws held him tight while San and Mech's new bulk kept him weighted down.
"We can't have you staying here!" Mewthree said teleporting back. He waved his arm and blasted the rock away, carrying Gardie with it. Another blast dislodged Mech and San. Mech reverted back to his human form and gave San what he was sure was one last hug.
"I love you San."
"I love you too Mech."
Together they entered the vortex as it closed behind them.

"Whoa!" Mech screamed as he and San were spat out the other end of the vortex, across a room, and crashed into a wall. He got up, dusted himself off and looked around to see where they were and was met by a dozen rifles pointing at him.
"Another one?" Spat an important looking man in the background. "How are those beasts getting in here?"
"San, you okay?" Mech asked telepathically.
"Besides the guns aimed at us, the fact we have no idea where we are, and that the splinters from the box I crashed into are everywhere, yeah fine." She replied mentally.
"Mech!" Someone shouted.
"Gardie?" Mech asked straightening up slowly. On the far wall, Gardie had been chained up, a muzzle had been put on him.
"Don't move!" One of the men holding a gun ordered. "Now you're going to drop the weapon and come with us or we shoot!"
"And what have I done to deserve this? I just fell through a portal." Mech replied.
"You brought a class A threat into the imperial fortress! How and why is beyond me!" The important looking man said. "A serious offence in this war!"
"What war?" Mech said confused. "Oh, right, Mewthree's war." He remembered.
"Mech, you have to get out!" Gardie shouted and was hit by a gun barrel for his trouble.
"I don't know what's going on, but if you're hurting my friends, it can't be good!" Mech said. Using his remaining energy he twisted all the gun barrels. Without skipping a beat, he pulled out some more gems and used that to incapacitate everyone in the room that seemed hostile. Then he ran over to Gardie and cut him out of the chains. He pulled of the muzzle, and retrieved his pokéballs from a nearby desk.
"Finally. I tried burning it off but it's fireproof." Gardie said.
"What's going on here?" San asked.
"I'm not sure, I only got here a hour ago. Though from what I heard, there's a human-pokémon war. Obviously I was marked for dead right away. We have to get out of here. This base is near the boarder. Once we cross it, we should be safe for now."
"Let's go." Mech said. "We'll fly out." He added pulling out Darunia's pokéball.
"Don't, they have gun turrets!" Gardie said. "He'd be shot down in a second."
"Then let's levitate out." Mech said. He pulled out the remaining gems, only three, absorbed the energy and took off after returning San, and carried Gardie along. From the air he could see where they had been. It was barracks in a military base that seemed to be on high alert. They easily crossed the wall and got down before Mech ran out of energy. Then ran full out, hoping to avoid detection.
Unfortunately they did not. Halfway there, shouts came from the wall, and machine guns sprang to life. Gardie shifted into a full Arcanine.
"Get on!" He ordered Mech. Without hesitating, Mech jumped on and Gardie used extreme speed to get away into the trees. After minutes they stopped and Mech got off and released San. Gardie became fully human again, released Saria as well and they pressed onward. After an hour or so they found a convenient sign that read "Boarder. Beware dangerous pokémon this way!"
"Must be the right way." Gardie said.
"Let's just get a little further then rest for the night." San suggested. They agreed and once they had found a secluded spot that was hidden from view they rested and talked.
"So, what now?" Gardie asked.
"I'm not sure. We still have to stop Mewthree. Somehow we have to find a way home. Though it's just us now. Who knows what happened to the others they could have ended up thousands of years from now, or they could be long dead." Mech sighed.
"So we're not going looking for them then?" Saria asked.
"No. Unless we know for sure they're here." Mech said. After a while they fell asleep, hoping this was all a dream.

"Morning San!" Mech yawned.
"Good morning" San said.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't feel very good is all." San said, rubbing her stomach.
"I hope you're not sick, you were like this yesterday morning too." Mech said concerned. "Though I haven't been feeling good either, my tied to life sense is picking up all the death and it's really bad, though it seems to be getting better."
"Yeah but I'm not."
"Well I hope this won't stay very long." Mech said. "Gardie, come on."
"We're coming." Gardie replied getting Saria up. The four walked off, headed for uncertainty, unsure what was going on and with little hope they could stop it.
Chapter End Notes:Ha! You didn't honestly think the story was over yet? Oh and check the lost chapters to see just what happened to Nabooru. As fan service in exchange for delaying the story like this, I will do a chapter that doesn't count in the story but will be Maya vs Mech. Well there is more to come. Just a few more before I will start switching between this story and my other "The Adventure of Private Colin Wright"
