Story Notes:
Oh and thank you for 10000 views. Wish I could do something special...Oh wait, I did. New goal: 20000(on top 10s!)(Man the competition is fierce.)I'm a writer. I tried writing on fur affinity, but the server there has crashed and no one has seriously commented on my stories. I'm hoping for some comments on this new story which I am releasing here first. Axe that, only here. Especially since I'm so close to getting on the top ten for most words(about 20000 more) and potentially most reads(more then 5000 now) I'll put the general disclaimer here. All publicly recognizable characters, settings, etc. are the property of their respective owners, Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures inc, and Pokemon. The original characters and plot are the property of me. I am in no way associated with the owners, creators, or producers of Pokemon. No copyright infringement is intended. If you are offended by anything in this story, then you have a serious problem being offended by something no one force you to read but I don't care enough so don't complain to me if you end up offended.
Chapter 7 Another unexpected development
"Hello?" Mech said quietly. The man jumped and turned.
"Yes, what can I do for you?" he asked.
"Professor Oak asked me to give you this package." Mech explained.
"Oh, good good. But could you bring it to my daughter, near Lake Verity?" he asked.
"Sure, where is it?"
"Head down the route to the west then follow the signs. Watch out there have been thugs reported in the area."
"I will" Mech said leaving the building. "Great another objective. Well we might get a new team member along the way."
"Yeah!" the two pokémon agreed. They followed the directions and found the woods around the lake. They found the lake without and trouble and the view was dampened by a thick fog. They found a girl by the lake who was Rowans daughter trying to get water samples. They handed her the box and left after some small meaningless discussion.
They were on the path back when a sneer came from behind.
"Hey fresh meat, get ready to battle." Said a punk looking guy
"Fine, Subomi you could use the experience, your turn!" Mech said as the bud pokémon jumped down and got ready to fight.
"Easy kill!" the punk said calling out his pokémon, a bird like pokémon the pokédex labeled "Blaziken".
"A fire type, not good. Well Subomi use mega drain!" Mech ordered. Subomi tried to attack but a fire punch from Blaziken knocked him out. "Well it's up to you San!"
"Got it!" San waddled out to face her opponent.
"Rock slide!" Mech called. Somehow San executed the attack and the falling rocks knocked out the Blaziken. The punk called it back and threw out a giant blue bipedal turtle called "Blastoise"
"Blastoise, water pulse!" called the opponent. The turtle hit San with the attack, throwing her back into a tree. She was conscious but barely.
"Alright you win." Mech conceited "Just take your money and leave.
"Uh uh uh, the battle isn't over until it faints. Blastoise, get it!"
"You win! I give up, leave San alone!" Mech cried.
"Oh boo hoo." The punk said "In that case, Blastoise, kill it!"
"You can't kill a pokémon!" Mech shouted "It's illegal!"
"Well it's a battle, and if a pokémon dies, it dies. Who can prove I ordered it?" the retort came. The Blastoise moved over to San.
"Sorry, but my master forced me too" it said, raising its foot.
"Don't you touch her!" Mech threatened. He had never felt this angry. His mind became clouded in anger and felt himself slipping away to the point he knew he couldn't control himself. What scared him the most was he didn't care.
"What are you gunna do?" came the taunt "You can't do anything, your out of pokémon!"
"I don't need one!" Mech heard himself shout. Then he heard himself say something. Suddenly he felt electricity coursing through his arm, but it didn't hurt. As if in a dream he charged and the Blastoise and threw his fist foreword, connecting with the turtle's shell. He was surprised when he felt no pain and was more surprised when the punch threw the turtle almost into its trainer but hit a nearby tree instead. The trainer returned his pokémon, obviously scared at what he saw.
"I'm outta here!" He screamed, running as fast as he could. As soon as he was out of view, Mech felt himself returning. In the instant he was back in control, he fell to the ground in exhaustion. He lay on the hard ground until some of his strength returned. With all his power he crawled over until he was face to face with San.
"You okay?" he asked.
"Yeah but how did you, but that, you just, what happened?" she stuttered.
"I'm not sure, I sort of lost control. I'm glad your safe though San. You would know what happened better then I did."
"What you did is impossible! You used a thunder punch and took out a 200 pound turtle with one fist! No human should be able to do that. Then there's the punch, that's a pokémon attack, something humans shouldn't be able to do!" she stammered.
"I sort of felt it and it was weird. Though by my state it doesn't look like I can use it easily. Lets just wait here and rest up." Mech suggested.
"Yeah, a potion or two can't hurt." She insinuated.
"True" he said pulling a few out of his pack. "Hey San?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm really glad you're okay."Chapter End Notes:This will be the last for a while. I'm still hammering out the next few chapters. Things will get more interesting later
