It was a bright and sunny day in the Sinnoh region. There was a nice calming breeze and all the pokemon were enjoying the beautiful day out. A trainer named Ash Ketchum (I hope you know his name), was walking through the forest, obviously looking for something. "Where did they go? I was only gone for a minute or two." Ash said to himself. Pondering and walking, he tried to see where Brock and Dawn could have went. While looking around, he began to hear somebody crying. Ash, being the nice guy that he is, decided to look and see if he could help whoever was crying. Lying next to a tree was a small Riolu bawling his eyes out.


"Hey there little guy, what's the problem?" Startled, the Riolu fled terrified. "No wait, come back." Ash yelled. He chased after him trying to keep up with him. Suddenly, the Riolu trips over a root in the ground and falls face down in the dirt. Ash ran over to him and tried to pet him, but the Riolu scooted off scared. "It's ok; all I want to do is help you." He pulled out a super potion and Riolu apparently saw the sincerity in Ash's voice because he then crawled over to Ash and let him spray the super potion. "This may sting a little, but you will feel better afterwards." Riolu cringed for a few seconds, then found his scars disappear. He then began to cry again and lunged at Ash for a hug.
"They took her." Riolu sobbed out after a couples minutes of crying in Ash's arms. "Woah! You can talk?!?" Ash was amazed by this, but Riolu looked kind of confused.
"Yeah, can't everybody?" "Well, not usually. There is only a few pokemon in the world who can speak fluent English like that. It is very rare." Ash was still stunned about him being able to talk. "Po-key-man???" Riolu getting more and more confused as Ash went on. "Yeah, that is what you are. You are a pokemon. There are many types of pokemon around and they all are different from each other in one way or another. Hi, my name is Ash. What's yours?"


Holding back the tears, the Riolu replied "My name is Vairamani. It means diamond in my culture. Most people call be Vair for short" "So, why the long face?" Ash asked kindly. "They took her. They took her." Vair burst into tears and buried his face into Ash. "Slow down, who took who." Ash said trying to analyze the situation.


"Tauroses, a group of Tauroses took my mom away while she went out to get me some berries. It's all my fault, if only I went with her, I could of done something." He screamed in agony as the painful memory came back to him.
"It's not your fault, its nobodies fault. Do you know where they went?" Ash questioned trying to see if he can help. "Yeah, they went that way." He pointed to his right and started sobbing again. "They took my dad before I was even born, now they took my mommy. I can't lose her too. I can't live without her." His tears streamed as if they were a waterfalls.


"Would you like me to help? Maybe I can find her for you." Ash asked trying to see if he could help in any way. "Wo...Would...Would you do that for me?" Vair's tears started to slow down. "Of coarse I will. Com'on, let's go find your mom." Ash said with a hint of valence and courage in his voice. And with that they were off. They looked all around for what seemed like forever. Vair leaded the way with his nose, saying that he can smell her scent from anywhere. They began to hear screaming in the distance and Vair ran as fast as he could towards the source of the screaming. Ash yelled "WAIT!!!" making the Riolu stop. "Wait Vair, let me go first. You are still too young to get involved with this. Stay here, please. I'll tell you when it is safe."


"Bu" Vair stuttered "No Buts!" Ash interrupted. It's for your own safety. Ash slowly walked up through the weeds that were 2 feet taller than what he was. Ash could see a clearing up ahead and when he looked through the weeds, he saw 3 Tauroses and a Lucario. But they were violating her right there in the middle of the clearing, using every possible angle. They were pounding her with extreme force and blood was coming out of her everywhere. There was fresh scars and deep cuts all over her body. She couldn't even scream anymore and Ash knew he had to do something. He was so appaled by the image that when he reached for his pokemon, he dropped one of them. The Tauroses now knew of his presence and they demounted the Lucario and now aimed there attention at Ash. "Eevee, I choose you!" Ash yelled. Eevee came out of the pokeball awaiting Ash's orders.


"Eevee, use quick attack then switch to bite!" Eevee immediately complied with these orders and hit one of the Tauros head on following it with a huge bite. "Now finish it with tackle." Before Ash knew what happened, one tauros was down. The other Tauroses didn't look too happy. One Tauros used double-edge while the other used fissure. This one-two hit knocked out eevee. "Eevee return. Now Com'on Staravia." Staravia emerged looking pleasantly rested.


"Ok Staravia, use whirlwind now." Following orders, Staravia created a humongous windstorm and sent it at the enemies. Looking over at Vair's mom, he saw her coughing up tons of blood. He had to end this quickly. "Staravia, perform Aerial Ace, now!" Staravia went up and up to perform her latest trick. She then swooped down and pulverized a Tauros leaving him unconscious. "Good, try again." But, the last Tauros used double-team confusing Staravia; she didn't know which was which. Taking this opportunity, Tauros hit her with a slam. Knocking Staravia onto the ground. Following this he used thunderbolt. Wow, I didn't know Tauroses could do that? Ash thought to himself. Staravia was knocked out cold. Ash then looked at his belt and remembered he gave the rest of his pokemon to Brock to feed while he went out for a much needed walk.


Now there was nothing standing in the way between Tauros and Ash. The Tauros began dashing at Ash but was stopped in his tracks when Vair jumped out of the weeds. "What are you doing here? I told you to stay behind." Ash yelled, even though he was extremely happy to see him. Vair, ignoring Ash, looked over at his mom and saw her lying there, now unconscious with blood everywhere around her.


"You, how dare you do this to my mommy. You will pay, you will PAAAAYYY!!!" Vair yelled. Out of nowhere, a white blinding light began to form around Vair making Ash avert his eyes. When he regained his vision, there where Vair used to stand was a Lucario. Before Ash could say anything, Vair ran towards the Tauros at such an amazing speed that Ash could barely see him. In the blink of an eye, Vair used focus punch and with that, knocked out the final Tauros. He then ran to his mom, crying over her body. "I was too late, why. WHYYYYY!!!" He yelled cursing the heavens. Ash then ran to the limp body and checked for a pulse.


"Vair, your mother is still alive, but if we don't get her to a pokecenter fast, she may die." Ash spoke trying his best to get this said in the easiest and pain free way. "I'll lead the way." Vair said jumping to the trees and looking out for anybody else potentially dangerous. Ash then hoisted the bleeding Lucario around his shoulders and ran as fast as he could following Vair. While following Vair, Ash's legs continuously whined for a rest, but Ash knew he couldn't. He wasn't going to let Vair or his mother down. When they finally reached the hospital, Ash and Vair ran into the pokecenter screaming for Nurse Joy and probably sounding like it was a stick-up. Nurse Joy ducked under the counter and when she peaked her head over the counter, she saw the unconscious body around Ash's shoulder's and took her into one of the back rooms to give her immediate care. She told Vair and Ash to wait in the lobby.


Ash was so busy worrying about Vair and his mother that he had almost forgotten about the group. He ran to the nearest telephone and called up Dawn's pokedex knowing she always has it. "Hello?" the familiar ring of Dawn's voice echoed in Ash's ear. "Dawn, this is Ash. I have no time to explain the details, just get to the pokecenter now!" and while Dawn tried to say something Ash hung up giving them more motivation to get to the pokecenter sooner. When he went back to the lobby, Vair was just sitting in a chair, crying and staring down at his feet, like the answer was there if you looked hard enough. "It's going to be ok Vair. Don't worry. I won't let your mother die on you too." Vair looked up at the stranger he had only met an hour and a half ago and just like before dug his head into Ash's chest and cried trying to hold back the tears. Ash tried to sooth the poor Lucario, but this led to no avail.


After what seemed like forever, Nurse Joy came out and said that Vair's mom was going to be all right. She then led the boys back to the hospital room and escorted them to the Lucario's bed. When Vair's mother finally opened her eyes, she saw the guy who saved her life and someone she had never seen before. As she slowly regained consciousness, Vair was crying saying gibberish. At this time, she recognized the high-pitched howling of her son. She was surprised to see her son in his evolved state. "Va...Vair my darling... I...I thought I had lost you." She spat out using all her might to get this one sentence out. Nurse Joy then entered and told them that they needed to wait in the lobby and they could see Vair's mother in the morning.


The next mourning, when she woke again, Vair and Ash were exactly where they were last time. "Mommy, please say you'll never leave me again." Vair cried out tears flowing once again. "You always were a mamma's boy." She smiled she hugged her son. "And who might I owe my life to?" questioning to Ash. "Me, no I didn't save you, Vair was the one that saved you. I only took down the easy Tauroses. Your son took down the leader, and with only one-hit." Ash replied blushing as he spoke. "No, Ash is just being modest. The only way I took out the final Tauros was Ash weakening it for me." "Well, still, I owe you my life. Me and my Rio... I mean Lucario, have been traveling on our own for quite some time. And, if my son agrees, we would like to join you and your group." the hurt Lucario replied. "I couldn't think of anything better." Vair answered quickly.


"Okay, so when you are all nice and rested, we will head off towards Twinleaf Town."
They all smiled and Vair and Ash left the room in order for her to get her much needed sleep. "Hey Ash, thank you so much for what you did to help my mom. I am forever grateful to be friends with you." Vair whispered to Ash. After they arrived back in the lobby, Ash looked outside the window up at the beautiful sunrise and thought about Vair's mother. Hey, he thought, he didn't even know her name. It didn't matter, Ash was taken aback when he saw her in that hospital bed. She was such a marvelous being that he couldn't keep his eyes or thoughts off her. He did all this without even knowing her name. "Wow." He said to himself. "I'll have all the time in the world to get to know her later on." He then remembered that he and Vair had stayed up all night worrying about Vair's mother and thinking about the previous night. His body was telling him that he needed sleep, and soon. He looked over at Vair and saw that he had already beaten him to it.


So Ash laid his head over Vair and fell fast asleep dreaming of what was yet to come.

After a week of rest, Vair's mother (her name being Jade which Ash found out from Vair 3 days ago), was ready leave the pokecenter. When she walked into the lobby, she saw Ash, Vair, but also many unfamiliar faces including 2 humans and a pikachu. She walked over and they all began introducing each other. Brock this is Jade and Vair. Jade and Vair this is Brock and so on. After the introduction was over and after Brock stopped flirting with Nurse Joy, they began the long walk to Twinleaf Town.


On the way, both Jade and Vair would not let go of Ash. As the days went by, Ash and Jade began really getting to know each other. They would take walks out to get some ingredients for Brock and they would talk and talk about anything that came to mind. Except, they had to watch what they were saying because Vair always walked with them.After a week, she began sleeping in Ash's tent and they would stay up all night talking about themselves and whatever was on their minds. Jade wouldn't tell much about her past life. Ash recognized this and couldn't help fell somewhat sorry for her like it was his fault. However, she wanted to know all about Ash's past life and anything else about him that she didn't already know.


One night, after everybody had gone to sleep, Jade asked, "Are you awake Ash?" "I am now. Yaaaaaaaah, what do you want to tell me?" Ash asking still half-asleep. "You know the night that you found me, did Vair see what happened?" Jade sounded really scared by this. "No, I made sure that he stayed behind just in case if something was going to happen. Why, does he not know what sex is yet?" Ash asked. He seemed like he knew a lot of things already. "Heck no, he still believes in the tooth fairy. I don't think he is ready yet. He may look like it now, however, he is still a child on the inside. Anyways, I'm beating around the bush here. Do you know why I was taken away?" Jade asked with a serious tone to her voice. "No, not the faintest idea." Ash replied.


"I was in heat. They must have smelled it because they all came over and when I refused, they beat me down and took me away. Vair saw everything and tried running after them, but they were just too fast." "So your heat must of been the smell Vair followed. I now understand it pretty clearly. Wait, are you pregnant? You said that you were in heat meaning that 9 times out of 10 you should become pregnant." "No, fortunately you got there just before they, how do I put this, set their seeds in me." Jade said sounding relieved. "Ok, whew, ok." Ash sighed. That would have been a catastrophe. "Yeah, it was a close call. Ok, I'm too tired to continue this conversation. Good night Ash." Yeah right, like he was going to fall asleep now. He turned his head and drooled over the sight of Jade's amazing figure. "Good night Jade." Ash then looked up at the top of the tent and just pondered the thought of him and Jade until he eventually fell asleep.


The days came and went and the sooner they got to Twinleaf Town, the better. Ash was all ready to get his first Sinnoh badge. It had been a month after Ash's first encounter with Vair and Jade and now their bond was unbreakable. He knew from the first time he saw her that he liked Jade. But he never expected to fall head over heels in love with her. He had never had a girlfriend before, but always wondered what it would be like. His first girlfriend, his first date, his first kiss, all of these things he would only do with Jade. He felt like she was his diamond in the rough (Ha, get it, a pun. That was totally unintentional. Back to the story.) But he had no idea if she felt the same way about her. She already lost someone, did she want another. This thought continuously haunted Ash.


One night, Jade began to feel the heat return. Uh-oh, it's happening again. Each night she looked over at Ash and wondered if he was the right guy. On the 4th night, the heat was unbearable. Nothing seemed to be working. Masturbation worked a little, but 5 minutes, the heat came roaring back even hotter than before.
