Vair's Mistake
"Ash, how could you? You promised you would protect her, not hurt her like the Tauroses did." Vair said as he appeared in the doorway of the tent. "How did you know about the Tauroses, I told you to stay back?" Ash said trying desperately to find his boxers.
"I came out a little early because I wanted to see my mom, I just couldn't wait. They were hurting her and making her bleed." He looked down on the sleeping-bag and saw blood again. "You... you MONSTER!" Vair then ran as fast as he could trying to run away from it all like he did when Ash first met him. How could his best friend do that to his mom? He finally stopped by a tall oak tree that seemed comfortable. Crying to himself and trying to get the image out of his head. But it was no use. It was burned into his brain and seemed like no matter what he did, the image just kept coming back.
"O my God." Both Jade and Ash said simultaneously. Ash found his clothes and frantically put them on as he tried hopping as he and Jade ran as fast as they could to where Vair spirited. When they found him, he was laying down just like Ash found him the first time he met him. "Let me handle this one, he is my son and maybe I can calm him down more." Jade said as she slowly walked over to her son. It broke her heart to see her only son crying uncontrollably. "Vair, honey." Jade soothingly said. Vair raised his head still crying.
"I was just out to get a drink of water... wh...when I heard screaming from the tent. I thought the Tauroses had come back... or something so I ran over and saw what I thought was my best friend hurting you." A long moment of crying, followed by, "How could he do that to you?" Vair stuttered out inbetween fits of crying.
"Honey, he wasn't hurting me. I was hoping to wait to tell you about this until you were older, but when two people love each other very much. We sometimes show that love in a physical way. What you saw with the Tauroses was called 'rape'. It happens when one person performs the act of love when the other person doesn't love them. I didn't love those Tauroses. They ganged up on me and there was nothing I could do. So, you see. Ash wasn't hurting me. In a way, he was helping me."
"Yeah, Vair. I would never hurt anybody I loved. You should know that by now." Ash said jumping out of the bushes. "I'm better than that." Ash said trying to keep his cool. "Then why was mommy bleeding if she wasn't hurt?" Vair asked still a little confused. Jade and Ash looked at each other trying to find an answer in each other's eyes.
"Well honey, that sometimes happens to us when we perform an act of love or in other words 'sex'. It just means that somebody went a little too hard." Jade spat out thinking of this on the spot. "So you see, I wasn't hurting her. Just the opposite, I was helping her." Ash said almost laughing at the irony that himself, only at the age of 13 years old was trying to explain sex to someone else when he himself had only done it for the first time half an hour ago. "S...So... You weren't hurting her, just helping her. That seems to make a lot more since. Mommy, I'm kind of hungry, can you feed me?" Vair said as he jumped into her arms.
"Well, Vair, you know how that when you evolved, you grew up too. That is why we are telling you about this now. You are a grown man now." Ash snickered at this. Jade shot him a stare that seemed like her eyes were burning the inside of his skull. He stopped immediately and let Jade continue. "Grown men like you don't need milk from their mommies anymore. They find other sources of food elsewhere like lakes and berries." "But I don't wanna grow up mommy. I still want to be small. I wanna..." Vair burst into tears again. Man, Ash thought to himself, he was a crybaby. "Ok, I'll let you do this until you think you are a man." With that, she pushed Vair into her breast and let him drink from it. All three began walking back, (well actually, 2 were walking and one was being carried), to the campsite.
"Hey, I heard some noises, where have you guys bee.. waaah?" Brock said amazed that Vair was sucking on Jade's enormously huge breasts. "You got a problem with this?" Jade demanded finding this funny, but she was also angry. And you could definitely hear it in her voice. "Nooo, no. Who would have a problem with breast feeding? Notmeitwasn'tmewhoareyoustaringatItoldyouitwasn'tme,itwasn'tme." Brock said so fast that I only caught half of it.
"Good, now let's all try and get some sleep. Good night Brock." Jade then set Vair down. "Good night Vair." Vair turned to go back to his tent with Brock, then asked. "Mommy, can I sleep with you tonight?" Vair asked with hope gleaming in his eyes. "Ok, but only for tonight." Jade said. She just had a very important discussion with him and she wanted to make sure everything was ok. Dangit Ash thought.
The next few days were just the same as before, defeating worthless trainers and gaining more and more experience that he was going to need in Twinleaf. Jade slowly began to realize that she was gaining weight when she was eating the same as always. It finally dawned on her that she had become pregnant. She was scared to tell anybody else, even Ash because she didn't know what he would say. She didn't want what happened with Vair's father to happen again. She knew that she would have to tell them eventually, but was determined to keep it a secret as long as she could.

Which she usually was a bold, strong, independent woman who spoke her opinion often, too often. That night, she thought about wiggling in the fact that she was pregnant. Of coarse, he was too oblivious to the fact because, he himself was only 13. "Ash, can I tell you something. This is very important and I need to get it off my chest." Jade told Ash as he was almost fast asleep.
"Sure, what is it? You can tell me anything." Ash answered. Man, he was oblivious. "You know how my 1st husband died, right." Jade asked knowing he wouldn't know too much. "Well, actually, all I know is that he was kidnapped by the same group of Tauroses that kidnapped you. When you arrived, they had killed him and left nothing of the body." Ash answered, he didn't know where this was going and was trying to think of why she may be telling him this, didn't work.
"Yeah, well, that isn't... That isn't exactly the truth." Ash was stunned. "It was almost 9 months ago. I was walking in the forest after a nice bath. This was when I first experienced my first heat. It burned and I didn't know what it was. After 2 days of this, I was attacked by a male Lucario who after pinning me down, ra..ra.."
"Rapped you?" Ash asked with the utmost sincerity to his voice.
"Yeeesss." She was now balling and tears were going everywhere. Ash walked over to her and tried to calm her down. "He used me and then just ran away after he was done. It was the worst experience of my life. That was how I got pregnant with Vair. 3 months later and there was my son. But I wasn't ready yet. I didn't want it to happen until much later in my life, but after he was born; I began to like the fact of having a son. But, without a father, it was hard. He asked me one day why everybody else had 2 parents and why he only had one. I told him the lie about the Tauroses because I wasn't about to tell him the truth."
"Wait a sec. That was the worst experience of your life. What about the Tauroses, if we didn't come, you probably wouldn't be here today." Ash asked not knowing how that could possibly not be worse than Lucario. "No, that was the happiest day of my life because on that day, I met you." She then looked into Ash deep brown eyes. "Ash, there's, there's something I want to tell you. But I'm afraid."
"Don't be afraid Jade, you can tell me anything." Ash said as he looked into Jade's eyes seeing his future in them. "Ash, I'm, pregnant." She finally spoke. A moment of silence then. "You're pregnant. I couldn't be happier for you. Who's the father." Wow, did he really not know. "Ash, you're the father." Ash felt his body getting heavier and heavier. "Ash, are you ok?" Jade asked sounding scared. Ash fell flat on the ground and fainted. The last thing he saw was the tent and Jade's worried face.
Two days past and Ash finally woke up. He was staring up at the same tent he saw when he fell down. "Oh, Ash. You are ok. I was so worried." Jade said trying to keep under control while still being worried out of her mind. "Yeah, I'm ok. How long have I been out?" Ash asked trying to gain back what all happened. "Two of the longest days of my life. Do you remember why you fainted?" Jade asked hoping for him to at least remember. "Yeah, I do. And I don't care how old I am, I love you and I will never stop loving you. I will do anything for you, even be a you're son or daughters father." Ash said determined and he meant what he said. He would do anything for Jade and Vair.
"Oh Ash, I'm so happy. I love you, Ash Ketchum." Jade spoke with her soul sparkling through her eyes. You could really see how much she loved Ash. "I love you too Jade." Ash replied. "Don't forget me, I love you too mommy, daddy." Vair said running in the tent. "Daddy, I like the sound of that." Ash said to himself. They all shared a big hug and then walked out of the tent to the now awaiting group.
"I'm so happy for you two." Dawn said with tears building up in her eyes. Brock then added "We couldn't help but overhear you conversation. So that's why you haven't been yourself. Here, I'll make us all some lunch." And with that, Brock started cooking. "Hey daddy, I wanted to ask you something." Vair said to Ash. No matter how many times he heard that, he knew he would never get tired of that small innocent voice. "Yeah Vair, what do you need?" Ash replied. "You know how you battle other people with your pokemon. I wanted to see if I could help you and learn how to fight." Vair asked with his puppy dog face on. "I'm ok with it, but you may want to ask your mother." Ash answered.
"Mommy, mommy! Can I train with Ash how to fight?" Vair asked Jade. "Why sure honey, you have to learn sometime, and I wouldn't trust you with anybody but Ash." Jade said looking over at her new lover. As Ash began training and playing with him, she asked herself why she couldn't find him sooner. He was, the perfect man.
After Brock was done cooking, he called everyone over to enjoy his delicious curry. After everyone was done downing their food, Ash made an announcement. "From here on in, I will end my journey in the Sinnoh region and stay in Twinleaf Town until Jade has her baby." Everybody was shocked. "Give up on the Sinnoh region? It was the number one thing on your mind when you arrived here? How can you give that up?" Dawn demanded. She was confused by Ash's calm demeanor and he answered, "Yes, that was true. It used to be the number one thing on my mind. But now I have 2 new ones, being a good dad and raising my family right." With this he took Vair and trained with him some more.
After their training, Vair went to go looking for his mom. When he found her, he told her, "Mom, you know how you told me that when I thought I was a grown man to tell you, right. Well I think that I am now a grown man." Vair said with confidence. "That's great honey, just remember, you will always be my son, no matter how old you get."
The days leading up to Twinleaf Town were spent training with Vair whenever Ash got the chance. He either trained him, or he was playing with him. Jade knew that Ash would make a perfect father to their child.
The baby was nearing a week until it was ready when they reached Twinleaf Town. They went to the nearest hotel. "Hello, my name is Ash Ketchum and I need a couple of rooms for the week. Do you have 3 rooms that are next to each other?" "Let me check for you." The hotel clerk said. He then looked on the computer at the counter and searched for the rooms. "Yes, we have exactly 3 rooms and they happen to be right next to each other, aren't you guys lucky." Ash then split the rooms up with Brock and Vair in one room, Dawn and Jade in another, and himself in the final room.
Vair ran up the stairs and by the time everybody was at the stairs, he had checked out every room and picked the one with the biggest bed. The group was so tired of traveling that they all went straight to sleep. That night, Vair woke up to go to the bathroom. After he was done, he thought of what Ash and Jade told him almost 3 months ago.

"Honey, he wasn't hurting me. I was hoping to wait to tell you about this until you were older, but when two people love each other very much. We sometimes show that love in a physical way... So, you see. Ash wasn't hurting me. In a way, he was helping me."

"Ash has done so much to help me and my mom. Now, its time for me to return the favor. Now that I'm a man, I can help him." Vair said as he walked over to Ash's room. He peered inside and saw his father fast asleep. He gently walked over to his bedside and studied him for a while. He didn't know how to approach him. "I love you dad." Vair whispered removing the covers to see Ash with only his boxers on. Vair decided that he wouldn't wake Ash up and that Ash would awake to the happiness that his son was going to give to him. "For all you've done for us, let me return the favor." Vair whispered again while removing Ash's boxers. "Vair!!! What on Earth are you doing!?!" Ash yelled not knowing what to do in this situation. Let's face it, you could never possibly be ready for this because, seriously, who would expect this to happen to them? (Sorry, I just rambled there, ignore it if you want, back to the awkwardness.) "But, daddy, I just wanted to help." Vair replied shocked at Ash's response. "By doing this ? How could this possibly help me?" Ash still yelling, he didn't know any other way to respond other than by screaming. But when does yelling ever help? "Daddy, do you not love me?" Vair asked beginning to tear up. He was expecting Ash to be happy, so why was he so mad. "What does that have to do with this?" Ash said a little more softly, but still with a stern voice. "But daddy, you said that when I walked in on you and mommy having, (gulp), sex, you were helping her. All I wanted to do was help. Mom said that if you love someone very much, then they should express it in a physical way. Don't you love me daddy?" Vair asked with tears now sliding down his face.
"So that's what you were doing. Well, I think maybe me and Jade should of worded it better. You see, Vair, when two people love each other very much, they do express it in sex, but that is only between a man and a woman." Ash said stunned that Vair could twist the conversation so much. "So you mean instead of you, I should 'help' mommy, right?" Vair asked. Wow, he was actually being serious. "No, I'm sorry Vair, but that would be called 'incest'. 'Incest' is when two people from the same family have sex with each other. Only the mommy and the daddy are allowed to have sex with each other. You are allowed to have sex with anyone that isn't in our family. That includes me, your mom, and whatever children we might have. Do you understand now Vair?" Ash asked. He was still a little shocked from what Vair had just done to him. "But why? If two people love each other, shouldn't they follow their hearts? That's what mommy always told me." Vair responded. He really wasn't catching on to this. "You should, but not in our family. It is against the law and you could go to jail for a long time. I don't want you to go to jail so let's keep this a secret. You promise not to tell anyone what happened tonight?" Ash questioned hoping he could get off the subject. "Sure daddy, just for you. I love you daddy, good night." Vair said. He looked so innocent, like he didn't know the seriousness of what he just did. "I love you too Vair, good night and sweet dreams." Ash tried to get back to sleep, but it took him 2 hours to finally get back to sleep after staring at the ceiling thinking of what just happened.
When Ash woke up the next day, he couldn't tell if last night was a dream or not. He sincerely hoped to God it was a dream. The thought of the dream sent shivers down his spine. But, sure enough, his boxers were across the room from when Vair threw them across the room to 'help daddy'. He hoped that as long as he explained the situation fully to Vair, this kind of thing wouldn't happen again.
Ash then smelt the deliciousness of Brock's homemade breakfast and he followed his nose downstairs (after getting dressed of coarse), and sat down at the lovely picnic Brock had laid out for them in the lobby. He apparently was the last one to get there because everyone else was already half-way done, even Jade. As he looked down at the plate, he was shocked. It was donuts and sausages! This made him remember last night and he ran away from the table utterly scared. Out of all the things they could of eaten, it had to be donuts and sausages, who eats donuts and sausages together anyway?
"Ash, what's wrong. Jade yelled from the lobby. She then immediately followed Ash up the stairs back into his room. "Ash, is there something wrong?" She asked not knowing why he would run away from something as trivial as sausages and donuts. "Jade... stay away... I want to be alone." Ash said with a tremble in his voice. She ignored what he said and sat down next to him. "What's wrong honey, you can tell me anything." Jade said soothingly. Ash just stared at the ground. After a long silence, he muttered. "Vair." "Vair, what does Vair have to do with you running away from a perfectly good breakfast?" Jade barked, disturbed that Vair was the reason he ran up to his room. "Vair, he... he... violated me last night." Ash stuttered out.
"He WHAT?!?" she yelled. "Well, remember when we told him that love was sometimes expressed in a physical way and that I wasn't hurting you, but actually helping you? He thought that he would help me by doing that and because he loved me." Jade sat there stunned. She couldn't help snicker a little, but quickly became serious when she saw Ash. "It was an accident honey, he didn't know any better. Did you explain what he did wrong?" "Yeah, it took awhile, but I think he finally got it." Ash whispered trying not to be loud incase the group was listening in on the conversation. "Ok, so now that that's settled lets, whoa." Jade said responding to her stomach cramping. "I, I think it is time." Ash looked up at her and noticed the intense pain in her eyes. He picked her up, wobbling at the weight, man had she gained pounds since the last time he carried her. Running down the stairs he yelled at the group to help him escort her to the nearest pokecenter. They ran in and got her into intensive care as quickly as they could. Nurse Joy told them all they had to wait outside.
Intense screaming came from the room and Ash and Vair were pacing back and forth trying to reassure themselves that there was nothing they could do and that Jade would be alright. The others sat down in the lobby waiting to hear the news. When the screaming stopped, Nurse Joy opened the door and allowed them all to come in. They all went crazy over the cuteness of the new baby girl. "Vair, you are now a big brother." Ash said to Vair. "Yeah, I guess I am." He looked down at the little bundle of joy Jade was holding and knelt down to it to whisper in its ear. "I will always be here for you, little sister. Hey." Vair said standing up, "What is her name?" "Well, I hadn't really thought about it much, how about Grace." Ash spoke with a gleam in his eye. "No, what about Selena?" Brock suggested. "No, what about Emily?" Dawn added. "What about Ashley. Just like her father." Jade said looking deep into Ash's eyes. "Ashley, I like that name." Ash replied. "Pika, pika!" Pikachu added. "Well, I guess it's settled then, Ashley it is." Ash loved the name Ashley. "I could have thought of that." Vair muttered under his breath. After 10 minutes of staring at the baby's cuteness, they all but Ash went out of the room to leave them to see the first moments of their newborn baby. As Ash was holding the baby, he could see his future brightly, and he liked it.

"Oh Ash, I'm so happy. I love you, Ash Ketchum." Jade spoke with her soul sparkling through her eyes. You could really see how much she loved Ash. "I love you too Jade." Ash replied. "Don't forget me, I love you too mommy, daddy." Vair said running in the tent. "Daddy, I like the sound of that." Ash said to himself. They all shared a big hug and then walked out of the tent to the now awaiting group.
"I'm so happy for you two." Dawn said with tears building up in her eyes. Brock then added "We couldn't help but overhear you conversation. So that's why you haven't been yourself. Here, I'll make us all some lunch." And with that, Brock started cooking. "Hey daddy, I wanted to ask you something." Vair said to Ash. No matter how many times he heard that, he knew he would never get tired of that small innocent voice. "Yeah Vair, what do you need?" Ash replied. "You know how you battle other people with your pokemon. I wanted to see if I could help you and learn how to fight." Vair asked with his puppy dog face on. "I'm ok with it, but you may want to ask your mother." Ash answered.
"Mommy, mommy! Can I train with Ash how to fight?" Vair asked Jade. "Why sure honey, you have to learn sometime, and I wouldn't trust you with anybody but Ash." Jade said looking over at her new lover. As Ash began training and playing with him, she asked herself why she couldn't find him sooner. He was, the perfect man.
After Brock was done cooking, he called everyone over to enjoy his delicious curry. After everyone was done downing their food, Ash made an announcement. "From here on in, I will end my journey in the Sinnoh region and stay in Twinleaf Town until Jade has her baby." Everybody was shocked. "Give up on the Sinnoh region? It was the number one thing on your mind when you arrived here? How can you give that up?" Dawn demanded. She was confused by Ash's calm demeanor and he answered, "Yes, that was true. It used to be the number one thing on my mind. But now I have 2 new ones, being a good dad and raising my family right." With this he took Vair and trained with him some more.
After their training, Vair went to go looking for his mom. When he found her, he told her, "Mom, you know how you told me that when I thought I was a grown man to tell you, right. Well I think that I am now a grown man." Vair said with confidence. "That's great honey, just remember, you will always be my son, no matter how old you get."
The days leading up to Twinleaf Town were spent training with Vair whenever Ash got the chance. He either trained him, or he was playing with him. Jade knew that Ash would make a perfect father to their child.
The baby was nearing a week until it was ready when they reached Twinleaf Town. They went to the nearest hotel. "Hello, my name is Ash Ketchum and I need a couple of rooms for the week. Do you have 3 rooms that are next to each other?" "Let me check for you." The hotel clerk said. He then looked on the computer at the counter and searched for the rooms. "Yes, we have exactly 3 rooms and they happen to be right next to each other, aren't you guys lucky." Ash then split the rooms up with Brock and Vair in one room, Dawn and Jade in another, and himself in the final room.
Vair ran up the stairs and by the time everybody was at the stairs, he had checked out every room and picked the one with the biggest bed. The group was so tired of traveling that they all went straight to sleep. That night, Vair woke up to go to the bathroom. After he was done, he thought of what Ash and Jade told him almost 3 months ago.
(Flashback)
"Honey, he wasn't hurting me. I was hoping to wait to tell you about this until you were older, but when two people love each other very much. We sometimes show that love in a physical way... So, you see. Ash wasn't hurting me. In a way, he was helping me."
(End of Flashback)
"Ash has done so much to help me and my mom. Now, its time for me to return the favor. Now that I'm a man, I can help him." Vair said as he walked over to Ash's room. He peered inside and saw his father fast asleep. He gently walked over to his bedside and studied him for a while. He didn't know how to approach him. "I love you dad." Vair whispered removing the covers to see Ash with only his boxers on. Vair decided that he wouldn't wake Ash up and that Ash would awake to the happiness that his son was going to give to him. "For all you've done for us, let me return the favor." Vair whispered again while removing Ash's boxers. Vair after thinking about how much his daddy would be proud of him, inserted his stiff member into Ash very slowly. "I love you dad." He lovingly whispered as he began to do exactly what he saw when he walked in on Ash and Jade. Ash awoke to this and was shocked to find Vair doing what he was doing. (I'm not going to go into detail here, that would be just sick and wrong, but isn't it already sick and wrong.)
"Vair!!! What on Earth are you doing!?!" Ash yelled not knowing what to do in this situation. Let's face it, you could never possibly be ready for this because, seriously, who would expect this to happen to them? (Sorry, I just rambled there, ignore it if you want, back to the awkwardness.) "But, daddy, I just wanted to help." Vair replied shocked at Ash's response. "By doing this ? How could this possibly help me?" Ash still yelling, he didn't know any other way to respond other than by screaming. But when does yelling ever help? "Daddy, do you not love me?" Vair asked beginning to tear up. He was expecting Ash to be happy, so why was he so mad. "What does that have to do with this?" Ash said a little more softly, but still with a stern voice. "But daddy, you said that when I walked in on you and mommy having, (gulp), sex, you were helping her. All I wanted to do was help. Mom said that if you love someone very much, then they should express it in a physical way. Don't you love me daddy?" Vair asked with tears now sliding down his face.
"So that's what you were doing. Well, I think maybe me and Jade should of worded it better. You see, Vair, when two people love each other very much, they do express it in sex, but that is only between a man and a woman." Ash said stunned that Vair could twist the conversation so much. "So you mean instead of you, I should 'help' mommy, right?" Vair asked. Wow, he was actually being serious. "No, I'm sorry Vair, but that would be called 'incest'. 'Incest' is when two people from the same family have sex with each other. Only the mommy and the daddy are allowed to have sex with each other. You are allowed to have sex with anyone that isn't in our family. That includes me, your mom, and whatever children we might have. Do you understand now Vair?" Ash asked. He was still a little shocked from what Vair had just done to him. "But why? If two people love each other, shouldn't they follow their hearts? That's what mommy always told me." Vair responded. He really wasn't catching on to this. "You should, but not in our family. It is against the law and you could go to jail for a long time. I don't want you to go to jail so let's keep this a secret. You promise not to tell anyone what happened tonight?" Ash questioned hoping he could get off the subject. "Sure daddy, just for you. I love you daddy, good night." Vair said. He looked so innocent, like he didn't know the seriousness of what he just did. "I love you too Vair, good night and sweet dreams." Ash tried to get back to sleep, but it took him 2 hours to finally get back to sleep after staring at the ceiling thinking of what just happened.
When Ash woke up the next day, he couldn't tell if last night was a dream or not. He sincerely hoped to God it was a dream. The thought of the dream sent shivers down his spine. But, sure enough, his boxers were across the room from when Vair threw them across the room to 'help daddy'. He hoped that as long as he explained the situation fully to Vair, this kind of thing wouldn't happen again.
Ash then smelt the deliciousness of Brock's homemade breakfast and he followed his nose downstairs (after getting dressed of coarse), and sat down at the lovely picnic Brock had laid out for them in the lobby. He apparently was the last one to get there because everyone else was already half-way done, even Jade. As he looked down at the plate, he was shocked. It was donuts and sausages! This made him remember last night and he ran away from the table utterly scared. Out of all the things they could of eaten, it had to be donuts and sausages, who eats donuts and sausages together anyway?
"Ash, what's wrong. Jade yelled from the lobby. She then immediately followed Ash up the stairs back into his room. "Ash, is there something wrong?" She asked not knowing why he would run away from something as trivial as sausages and donuts. "Jade... stay away... I want to be alone." Ash said with a tremble in his voice. She ignored what he said and sat down next to him. "What's wrong honey, you can tell me anything." Jade said soothingly. Ash just stared at the ground. After a long silence, he muttered. "Vair." "Vair, what does Vair have to do with you running away from a perfectly good breakfast?" Jade barked, disturbed that Vair was the reason he ran up to his room. "Vair, he... he... violated me last night." Ash stuttered out.
"He WHAT?!?" she yelled. "Well, remember when we told him that love was sometimes expressed in a physical way and that I wasn't hurting you, but actually helping you? He thought that he would help me by doing that and because he loved me." Jade sat there stunned. She couldn't help snicker a little, but quickly became serious when she saw Ash. "It was an accident honey, he didn't know any better. Did you explain what he did wrong?" "Yeah, it took awhile, but I think he finally got it." Ash whispered trying not to be loud incase the group was listening in on the conversation. "Ok, so now that that's settled lets, whoa." Jade said responding to her stomach cramping. "I, I think it is time." Ash looked up at her and noticed the intense pain in her eyes. He picked her up, wobbling at the weight, man had she gained pounds since the last time he carried her. Running down the stairs he yelled at the group to help him escort her to the nearest pokecenter. They ran in and got her into intensive care as quickly as they could. Nurse Joy told them all they had to wait outside.
Intense screaming came from the room and Ash and Vair were pacing back and forth trying to reassure themselves that there was nothing they could do and that Jade would be alright. The others sat down in the lobby waiting to hear the news. When the screaming stopped, Nurse Joy opened the door and allowed them all to come in. They all went crazy over the cuteness of the new baby girl. "Vair, you are now a big brother." Ash said to Vair. "Yeah, I guess I am." He looked down at the little bundle of joy Jade was holding and knelt down to it to whisper in its ear. "I will always be here for you, little sister. Hey." Vair said standing up, "What is her name?" "Well, I hadn't really thought about it much, how about Grace." Ash spoke with a gleam in his eye. "No, what about Selena?" Brock suggested. "No, what about Emily?" Dawn added. "What about Ashley. Just like her father." Jade said looking deep into Ash's eyes. "Ashley, I like that name." Ash replied. "Pika, pika!" Pikachu added. "Well, I guess it's settled then, Ashley it is." Ash loved the name Ashley. "I could have thought of that." Vair muttered under his breath. After 10 minutes of staring at the baby's cuteness, they all but Ash went out of the room to leave them to see the first moments of their newborn baby. As Ash was holding the baby, he could see his future brightly, and he liked it.

There was actually supposed to be another cliffhanger ending, but I decided against it because I would rather give this chapter a happy ending.
