Story Notes:
I do not own Pokemon, or it's contexts. All the main characters in my story are fictional, and are not modeled off of any characters, whether they be real or fiction.
The Boy Becomes a Traveler
Well, here we are again, with a story in the making. I just hope that you have stuck with this story from the beginning, and I say that all who have, I am deeply honored that you are giving my writing a chance. I've never written before in my life, and I feel like it's just coming to me a bit at a time. I can see the road ahead, but not the destination. I wonder if artists see that all the time. Anyway, I do not won Pokemon, blah blah blah, all the usual disclaimers.
Enjoy the show!

Dustin awoke with Sylvia laying next to him. She was sound asleep. He remembered what had happend yesterday, and a smile crossed his face, as did Sylvia. Dustin kissed Sylvia very lightly on the lips. Sylvia awoke from that.
'Good morning, sweetie!' Sylvia thought.
'Good morning, honey.' Dustin replied. He began to float downstairs, but he remembered that he was gonna keep his egg with him wherever he went. This was due to the fact that it didn't feel right to leave it alone. After all, it was his child. He decided to grab it. He grabbed it, and put it in his backpack, and slung it over his shoulder.
He hovered downstairs and saw his mom cooking breakfast. "I'm gonna get something quick, if that's alright!"
"I.. Guess." his mom said, hesitant.
Dustin used his newly activated Aura and grabbed a piece of bread. He then used his Aura to toast it to the perfect texture. He then grabbed the butter, and slabbed it on.
"Thanks mom! Bye Dad! Expect me to see you at the end!"
"I will expect it. I'll see you, son." Brandon held out his hand.
Dustin grasped his father's hand, and shook it. "I love you guys, despite what you did to me yesterday." With that, Dustin floated out of the house.
'Sylvia! Let's go! Are you fine to travel?'
'I'm fine! Let's go!'
Sylvia floated out of the place, and joined Dustin. Together, they set out on the adventure of a lifetime.
Dustin let out his Pikachu just as he exited the town.
Pikachu came out with a shake of his face.
Dustin tried to connect to this Pokemon, and found it easier to communicate after unlocking his full Aura. 'It's a pleasure to welcome you to the team, Pikachu. May I call you Peachy?'
'Sure! I didn't know humans could communicate this way. It's a better change of pace from trying to convey what I'm trying to say through hand signals.'
'I'll bet. Anyway, do you like being in your Pokeball?'
'It gives me hives, but if you want me in there, I'll go without a fuss.'
'I want to know what you want. If you don't want in your Pokeball, I wont put you in there.'
'Thank you.' The Pikachu said.
Dustin began traveling for a while, and saw a sight that he didn't expect to see. It was the Arbok he released earlier. This time, it tried to contact Dustin.
'I am sssorry for my rudenesssss before. If you'll allow me, I would like to join your group.'
'The more, the merrier! Welcome aboard!' Dustin put a pokeball on the ground and let Arbok put himself in. He did so, and without a shake, he was caught. Dustin let him out, and decided that none of his Pokemon were gonna be confined. With that, he headed out. He first traveled Route 101. There weren't that many challengers, but he saw plenty of Pokemon. He felt their feelings, and didn't see one that wanted to battle. All he saw was fear, and anger. He decided to stay away from the Pokemon.
After a while, he made it to Viridian City. It didn't take him long, seeing as how The Route took him straight there. As soon as he reached Viridian City, his first instinct was to head to the Poke Center. He floated through the front door, which got alot of strange looks, especially Nurse Joy, who tried to do her best to stay in character.
"Welcome to the Pokemon Center. We heal your Pokemon to- Oh I can't stand it! How do you do that?"
"It's easy! I have Aura."
"What's Aura?" many of the Trainers asked.
"Well, would any of you like to battle me, not my Pokemon, to find out?"
One trainer stood up and said "I'll take you on! My Raticate is the best in the business! You versus my Raticate!"
"You're on!" 'Sylvia, will you watch our child for a minute?'
'Sure, but what are you proving by doing this?'
'What Aura is.'
Nurse Joy led them to a Pokemon Arena outside of the enclosure. She stood where the judge would stand.
"I will be the Referee of this battle! This will be a One on One battle! If either the Pokemon or the human faint, the match is over! Now, let the match begin!"
"Alright, let's go Raticate!"
"Raticate!" The pokemon enthusiastically said.
"Okay. I'll let you take the first shot."
"Gladly! Raticate! Our opponent is the human today! Hyper Fang!"
Raticate dashed forward with razor-sharp teeth, ready to saw through human bones. Dustin easily sidestepped it.
"To make it more fair, I'm gonna call out my attacks like normal. Force Palm!" Dustin dashed towards the Raticate, and struck it in the gut. The Raticate doubled over, but was not out.
"Now, while he's close! Use Hidden Power!"
Raticate began to glow, and then he gave off a blast of energy that felt like it was super effective. He was pretty badly hit, but he wasn't out, wither.
"Recover!"
Instantly, Dustin's wounds vanished and he was fit to battle again.
"Argh! Raticate, use Quick Attack!"
Raticate dashed at Dustin with full speed, and struck Dustin. Although, he let it happen. He grabbed Raticate as fast as he could and shouted "Aura Burn!"
Dustin focused his Aura on the Raticate and burned it. It was knocked out.
"Raticate is unable to battle. Dustin is the Winner!"
"Raticate!" The Trainer went over to his Pokemon.
"Allow me. I can heal him." Dustin cleared a path and placed his hands on the Raticate. Instantly, his hands glowed with a blue energy that was foreign to these people of Kanto.
"What is that?" one Trainer asked.
"This is caled Aura. It can do many things. Not many people can use it like I can." Dustin told everyone. He finished up with Raticate, and the Raticate bounded for his trainer.
"Thank you." the Trainer said.
"No problem." Dustin said.
Dustin began to float on out of the town, and decided to stock up on potions and supplies.
He entered the store, and told the lady he wanted 5 potions, 6 Pokeballs, and 5 Antidotes.
Dustin exited the Store, and headed for Viridian Forest. Only, Dustin didn't have any idea what was about to happen to him. He would enter the forest a boy, and exit a father.
