It’s been days since we last did anything other than study under the eyes of the Dragonair, the woman teaching us manners and somehow mumbling to herself about the stone tablet. We wanted to speak to her, but she tells us to remain silent and listen, only to ask when she was done, yet she never lost her patience when telling us. Later, she handed over the “stone” we were carrying around, and our parents explained what it was about. She then apologized because the tablet didn’t belong to the school, as if it were.

Then Mom and Dad compared their size and looks, and they coincide. It was another of those weird unreadable things, even if we can read English now. Sato asked to hold onto them, but Mom and Dad refused, and said they’ll solve it themselves. Sure, they can’t be hiding something from me, right?

Later, we met up with Cross, who was looking into the girls’ lockers. Sato shook her head and pulled him down, and chastised him for doing something improper. He nodded in shame, but then brought him over to play some games with us. Eventually, the bell rung, and the teacher noticed him, and they spoke for a bit, himself giving in to learning at school, and we saw him whisper something to the teacher, which made her fluster a little, but she picked him up, and we headed to class. Soon enough, we headed into the classroom to learn more, and while classes happened, Cross came in, wearing our uniform. He looks nervous and happy at the same time.

Eventually, we headed home to meet with Mom and Dad. We knocked on the door, and no one answered, just like before, when we just met Sato. We thought they left, before Dad opens the door and welcomes us happily. Sato looks away slightly, adjusting her glasses, before hugging him, walking us in and talking about what we learned in class, and that we met Cross a while ago. Mom and Dad look at each other while we seem curious about their reaction. Then, they just decided it was lunch time, and we put that aside for now.

I wonder how Cross does without us.

(Earlier…)

I came through the portal from my castle, completely bored and all haughty from looking at these boys. I can tell who is a bully and who is not, for I am Cross, the Bully Rider! I sneak around the boys, telling them I am just the janitor’s kid doing an errand for the nearby house, and walk around sneakily. Eclipse did allow me to get in here, and I can do this sort of thing without them looking… He he he heh…

I slowly climb onto the window and look inside. These young girls… all of them dressing, undressing to get dressed in swimsuits… showing their lines perfectly… this is paradise, and with my invisibility cloak, no one would notice. I just really want to squeeze their- Ack…!

I-I just got slammed by something on my head. I squeal and fall down, dragged by the tail, looking up in a daze as I see a glaring Espeon nerd. Wait, that’s…!

“S-Sato! How’d you…?” I ask.

“What a disgusting boy! Don’t look into our lockers like that!” Sato yells as she pulls out a water spray bottle and shoots at me every time I open my mouth to speak!

“B-But I was just peeking at their faces!”

“You think that being a Dark-Type would save you from Psychic-type moves, but not from Mind Reader and Miracle Eye. Besides, Eclipse found your shadow fast enough and you can’t perform Leafshroud for what it’s worth.” She explains.

Sh-She found me out. What is this leafshroud she speaks about?

Sato picks me up and huffs, looking at me with her face red. “You want to see something later? Then, come to play with us, and don’t waste your time in doing things that creepy strangers do, okay?”

I return a nod, and go with the girls. We play some games at the playground, and play with the ball. We also watch the sports club and their games where they pass the ball around and around. Soon, the bell rang and the girls had to go, but not before I watch the sexiest figure approach me, walk up to me and examine me. “Oh, I heard of a peculiar Umbreon boy, but it seems I misjudged the girls. Are you this Cross they are speaking about, kid?” She asks me.

“I am Professor Miranda. It’s nice to meet you, beautiful boy.”  She speaks with a giggle, as if she dropped a compliment on me!

“I-I am delighted to meet you.” I blush, looking away, and lean in to whisper into her ear. “Perhaps more than delighted, with that sexy motherly body you got…”

She returns a blush, pulling away, and glaring slightly at me, before whispering: “Not in front of them. Follow me.”

… Now I have a responsibility, and that worries me. As I worry about that nerdy Espeon. Crap, I gotta get dressed. I tell her to go ahead without me and teach the kids as I arrive!

Eventually, I make it, and boy, I was late. I am not sure how to feel, though, and I may be tempted to sleep at the girls’ house sometime. Plus, I could really clear my thoughts and focus as the Guardian Spirit of the Moon, for Sato’s sake.

Late evening, I decided to look for Sato, as Mom and Dad were not in their usual place. I eventually find Satoin the basement, speaking alone for a while, before climbing up. I approach her gently.

“H-Hi, Eclipse.”

“Hello!” I answer back,

“Did you do your homework?” She asks me.

“Yeah? I wonder what the Eclipse is about, though.”

“Well, they say the prophecy is about a Mew, a Vaporeon, a Espeon, a Umbreon and two Eevees, in which they save the world, but not before one of the two Eevees evolve into a new species and height of power. Time will tell whether this prophecy will be true or not, but, you are vital to the prophecy.” She explains rather dazzlingly, before covering her mouth and looking at me in shock.

“W-What are you talking about? What’s wrong?” I ask, concerned about it.

“I-I wasn’t supposed to say it yet…” Sato says quietly.

I eventually hug her tight, and comfort her. “I don’t know what this evil will be, but we will defeat it together. Like school!” This made Sato giggle gently.

“School isn’t boring! I’ll show you!” She starts to tickle me playfully, and I tickle back, both of us laughing loudly, forgetting about it entirely.

Yet, at the back of my mind… I felt like we have been overheard.

“Honey?” Mom asks, in a leafshroud, as was Dad.

“Yes?” Dad asks back.

“Is it time for our kids to be trained for this evil?”

“No. Not yet. They don’t comprehend it at their age, but at some point they’ll understand. For now, let’s keep this world in peace by ourselves. You and I.”

“You’re right… They need to live their childhood at their best. I love you and our kids.”

“Love you all too.”

Der and Zero eventually decide to set off at late night to find the third stone table, passing by Cross without warning,
