PH, Error: move on
The group debates for a bit over how to continue. Eon is running about the facility now without them knowing where he is, but there are still others to cure! Something is telling Error that the best course of action would be for Windslash and Radial to go look for Eon by themselves while he and PH continue on to Subject Storage...

PH quickly waves that off as being too dangerous. Wind and Radial have no means of defending themselves against Eon! It would be best for them to all stick together... at least for the most part...

"Alright then..." Error rubs the back of his head, still getting a strange feeling that Wind and Radial shouldn't go down with them... "If you're sure... Let's head down." He motions toward the Subject Storage door.

After working through the multi-lock, the four of them head into the hall with the short staircase down. Instantly, a dizzying heaviness descends upon them all. Something's definitely happening down here... something not good. They can barely see the the bottom of the staircase through the thick swirling darkness below. Error, looking the dizziest of any of them, struggles to hold himself up with his larger arm.

Steadily, the group descends into the dark. The multi-lock at the bottom activates as normal, though the beeps and buzzes it emits sound distant... echoing slowly. They make it into the Dark Stanky Hallway of Subject Storage... the flickering lights Error remembers being there seem to have finally blown out, most likely from all the destruction taking place through the facility...

Before them all looms Door 13. The chains and red tape still lie upon the floor from last time Error was here, and the Weighted Chain Lock is still latched onto the door as well. Windslash returns the Facility Lead ID he took from before, setting it into the lock, and Error prepares the other two.

"Before we continue..." PH speaks up, his voice even echoing distantly despite the cramped hallway, "How will we approach this? Who goes in? Who stays?"

The ground practically feels liquid beneath their feet, rolling faintly beneath them. Windslash and Radial notice the other two, especially Error, wobbling about and struggling to keep his balance. Still, Error's mind is ScreAming at him to keep Wind and Radial away... this would be beyond anything they could help with.

"Anyone?" PH speaks up one more time, waiting for suggestions from the group.

ph and shrew go in, they have the most armor to them (and ph helm seems to block the skull-fuckery have error and radial wait, to go in as backup

PH isn't sure, he's never exactly been on the RECEIVING END of mindfuckery... Whenever he worked with that Kojima guy, he was always the one dishing out the crazy.

They come upon an agreement on who should head in and who should remain in the hallway... PH is satisfied, knowing the now cured pair are relatively safe from harm, and Error's sudden and unusual sense of paranoia toward them is comforted knowing they'll be staying behind.

"Just watch yourselves out here..." PH advises Wind and Radial.

"Same for you in there." Windslash replies.
"Don't take too long!" Radial requests, darting his eyes up and down the Dark Stanky Hallway...

"We'll be back as soon as we can. Hopefully with 9_6 in tow." PH nods, noticing Error fidgeting and glancing about... then adds "If anything happens, head in to us... safer in numbers right?"

The shrew and 'dile nod nervously in response. PH then rejoins Error by the door, "Alright, let's go."

With that, Error places the last two Facility Lead IDs into the Weighted Lock and slowly grinds the dial around. A heavy CLANG emits as the spidery claws on the back of the lock unclench from the wall once again, sending it clambering to the floor.

PH and Error stand there for a silent moment, just staring at the door as the very walls appear to ripple and distort. Without another word, PH holds up his Volunteer ID card.

Wind and Radial should go in as well, as 9_6 seems not to want them inside. Maybe they're not affected by the mind-raep or something? (Due to cure?)

It would probably be best if PH restrains Error while Wind and Radial administer the cure.

Where did that crazy Eon get off to? Shouldn't they go after him?

go after the fox, shrew gathering up the spilt blood into something to distract the fox later

Eon seems to have retreated into the stairwell. This could mean he's either on the upper floor, or down in the basement. As far as anyone knows of the layout to the facility, that means Eon and the doll will have to go through them to get to the remaining infected, 9_6 and Whiskers.

It would seem that the best course of action, since their path is now relatively unchallenged, would be to continue on to cure the others before pursuing Eon / escaping.

Error jabs the syringe into Radial's chest, the long needle piercing through to the totodile's heart as the cure is injected. Radial howls out in agonizing pain, his massive body shuddering violently beneath Error, who was struggling to hold on. The mutated reptile felt like his body was burning away, being ripped apart and scattered out into the void all alone.

Error could already see Radial's form softening from its monstrous shape. The deadly blades lining his body were rounding off, shrinking back down to their original size. His massive form was shrinking rather rapidly, which might prove dangerous to him given the debris on top. Error realizes this, and quickly begins to dig through the pile to lighten the load before Radial is crushed.

Little more than a minute passed before there remains nothing but a small blue totodile, panting rapidly upon the floor. Radial's eyes dart around the strange mangled shelving above him while in a heavy daze, unable to remember where the hell he was at the moment. A large hand grabs Radial's shoulder and he is suddenly dragged out from under his strange semi-prison and into a large dark room. His eyes meet with a pair of deep red glowing ones as a gruff but mildly calming voice greets him. "Hey Rad. Welcome back, buddy!"

"YOU... BETRAYED... US!!" The haunting chorus of voices assault Windslash's ears, becoming dizzy from lack of oxygen. Is this it? Is this how he was going to die-?

Suddenly a monstrous shriek echoes through the hall as the teeth loosen from Wind's neck. He grips his throat and gapes in surprise at Eon, who for some reason has begun stumbling backwards and clutching at his chest. The doll flails about wildly as well, all the while screaming bloody murder, stinging Wind's eardrums.

The X-ray hall door flies open as PH comes dashing into the room. "Windslash!!" He calls out, pulling a double take at the scene before him. Wind scoots around the dirt pillar and runs to PH, joining him in watching the fox in apparent suffering. "Wait here. I'll get him..." PH mumbles to Wind and takes a step toward Eon.

Eon notices PH's approach and glares sharply at him. The fox bounds and tumbles along, just a mass of flailing tails. The stairwell door crashes open, and the agonizing shrieks and howls fade, echoing out into the distance...
