My REAL pmd2 team.
Their stats already are better than those of totodile or chimchar and they're still 10 levels below them (fucken slow leveling up ~~) and they have better moves.
Yet I'm still forced to use my starters for story dungeons.

Just bought Mystery Dungeon 2 today, it's awesome so far. I drew this out of inspiration and I plan on coloring this another day.

It seems I turned out to be a Pikachu, which surprised me. I was hoping if I would get Cyndaquil again, that is to recall my playthrough with the first PMD but I guess it's different this time around. Apparently everyone could of guessed who my partner would be, hehehe... Mudkip! I love my partner so much. X3

Timer lied with mine too. I took only 10 minuets drawing and coloring it. The rest of the time came from trying to find the tools and how they worked.

Yeah. I will draw some Pokemon for you but this is a little hard to use so I will try my best. I'm sure most of you don't like half of the stuff in my gallery but I will try to draw something you might like.

This looks pretty awesome, the shading and shining really make this one stand out, great work for the most part.

I think this is pretty good! It is Link, from Zelda. He has the Master Sword, and a fire-reflecting shield. I just don't think the face is good.

Does gender determine what you turn out to be? I was getting stuff like Totodile, Treecko, munchlax :U

Whiskers: Gender matters somewhat, but not entirely. It was a little more important in the first PMD game. Only a girl could be an evee or skitty while only a boy could be a meowth or psyduck. In this game, each gender can be any of the choices, but depending on the personality you'd be a different pokemon. For example, in PMD2, a girl with a sassy personality would be a totodile but a boy with a sassy personality would be a meowth. If a boy wanted to be a totodile he'd have to have a jolly nature. And, if a girl wanted to be a meowth she'd have to have a relaxed nature. So, both gender and the nature of your personality determine the type of pokemon you'd be.

Actually, before I got the game, whenever I took the personality test I would often get totodile and chikorita. But the last three times I've taken it, I got Skitty. >.> I think that's kind of lame, because it keeps saying I have a naive nature. D:

Originally started out as a Grovyle...changed my mind a great deal, obviously. I messed up badly and did everything on layer 1...I don't know how to erase specific colors if that's possible on paint.bbs. Solid colors for once...well, save for the cushion. One of these days, I'll learn how to throw in some shading...and my flamed tail sucks. :cool:

i think you can use 'fill' which is kinda like the paint bucket tool. it might not be QUITE what you're looking for, but i think it'd help >_>

Use masks.
Pick color
Right click on that thingy above the palette that says 'normal'
click that thingy until it says 're-mask'
Only your selected color will be affected by your drawings.
If you want to preserve the color, choose mask.

Oh, don't give up. Drawing isn't something that people have a "natural" talent to. Even the most talented artists have to practice, and even you can get better with more practice.

Besides, this is pretty good. I like the colors even if everything's a bit blurry. :cool:

drawing is tough. it's discouraging at first, but you just have to keep at it. trust me, as long as you keep drawing, you will get better.

also, don't feel that your art is good just because you don't get any comments right away. this board isn't very active, so pictures and comments are slow.

i hope you keep at it, it's a good start. :)

I know something you can quit, being so hard on yourself. just keep at it, and you'll get better. It's not like we're gonna yell at you if your pic ain't perfect.

Personally, I think this picture is pretty, especially for something that took about eight minutes.

Don't quit drawing. Honestly, I couldn't draw. Before I was 14 the extent of my drawing skills consisted of stick people. Then one day I saw a picture I really liked and thought, "Damn, I want to be able to draw just like that!" Since then I've practiced drawing and have slowly gotten better (And I'm still improving to this day). Just keep on drawing and never give up on yourself. Like all good things, it takes time.
