After composing herself, she puts on a tougher expression, "Alright. To the Chemical Labs. This cure could be in there." She nods firmly to Error before going through the door.

This appears to be not much more than the connecting corridor... The other end of the room has two diagonal walls with doors, each with a card reader. The sign on the wall reads:
CHEMICAL LABS
All personnel must wear protective gear beyond this point.
Two ID'd personnel required to pass.

Things to be pointed out:
1.) Addrianne = dead, Whiskers =/= Addrianne
2.) In response to Whiskers not changing, according to the terminal from page 6: "Recent status: Successful treatment. Infection remains." I've thought about this quite a bit. It's hard to know exactly because of that description, but it seems Whiskers was cured, thus she isn't being mutated by the infection. Also, though Error's status failed to mention anything about being treated, it seems like he may also have been cured, but re-infected in the fight with Radial, when he was bitten on the arm. I base this theory on the Warning posters about the infection and how Error didn't begin to mutate until after he was bitten.
3.) Based on the key's red and yellow design, it's very likely the key to the Emergency riot box (shotgun, ftw), which they should be able to get the key to, through the security metal detector room (hopefully), since the security was reset (though maybe not...). Although, even if they could get through with metal now, Eon said he was going to seal the room Radial was in...

Anyway, place notes in journal, check contents of filing cabinet in security room, and check for any new options on the demolished security computer.

I'll refrain from commenting on anything regarding the infection, but I can give you a slight correction with regard to the security systems...

The actions that have taken place so far have led to, according to the computer, a system reset. The lock down was shut off and any alarms / sealed doors have been released, but are still online and able to be set off (as proven by the quarantine in the living quarters), meaning the metal detector should still be online as well... :x

EDIT: oh and Eon only sealed the room temporarily to gas Radial and store him away again. :u

Wind must have torn the walkway up when he was chasing them into the living quarters... The main room appears a bit different than before, possibly due to the lock down resetting... and maybe a little to do with Eon collapsing the Mess Hall ceiling.

Anyway, now that they're not being chased by rabid mutant versions of their friends, an inventory update is in order! Whiskers now has a folded note, another journal page, and a handgun with one bullet. Error now has a small iron key with a red and yellow design on the handle.

Error, Whiskers, and Eon continue their panicked sprint down the hallway, screeching around a corner and running onward. A split second later, Windslash comes charging through, headbutting Pyramid Head straight into a wall, sending concrete chunks flying.

An alarm begins to echo throughout the area just as the trio turns another corner. A heavy grate was descending a ways ahead. "The automatic security systems are quarantining off the area!" Eon shouts from behind, "Get through quickly before it closes!!"

With Whiskers in the lead, she quickly ducks under the grate. Error being just behind her, he dives and tumbles under. Eon runs as fast as he can, but the grate slams into the floor just as he catches up. "No no!!"

"Eon!!"
"Damnit!"

Whiskers and Error run back to the grate, looking it up and down. Error tries to grab and pull at it with his larger arm, but it doesn't give. Eon looks over his shoulder as an enormous ruckus continues to echo throughout the living quarters, howls and crashes emitting from a distance away. The fox turns and moves close to the grate again to speak.

"Leave me!" He shouts to the others over the blaring alarm, "Go back to the main room and punch in the upper left three, bottom left, and second from right buttons on the panel, then pull the switch. That will lower the blast doors to this section..."

They all share a grave look, which is quickly interrupted by another loud howl. "Go now! I'll find a way out!" Eon shouts again, shooing them onward to the exit.

Whiskers and Error nod and head back down the hallway, the front Mess Hall doors were thrown open with dirt piling out into the hallway just like the rear doors... The two of them quickly scrambled over it and got to the panel...

"It was this button sequence right?"
"But... But what about Eon?"
"I know... but..."

There's something different about Eon that I can't quite put my finger on.

A row of three heavy metal blast doors begin to clamp down in the hallway in succession. The third one clunks to the floor as the alarm goes silent... only the faintest hint of the quarantine alarm can be heard through the blast doors now...

Another moment of silence passes as the two stare at the now sealed off area. Then, with a nod to each other, Whiskers and Error head back through the door into the main room...

The three of them each shift in a different direction around PH, in what seems like slow motion. Whiskers swerves left and runs by, shrieking suddenly as something smacks her in the face. Error flanks right and narrowly ducks the swinging Knife, feeling a hair or two being shaved from his ears. Eon jumps straight up, jabs a few tails into the ceiling, and swings upside down over PH as the doll wooshes by his head, causing a strange glint...

With a rush of wind, PH stands post-swing, sword pointed forward now with the trio now behind him. Whiskers peels the paper PH was holding off of her face, looking slightly confused just as Eon plops to the floor next to her, Error catching up and all three resuming their run.

PH glances over his shoulder silently before looking forward again just in time to have Windslash plow into him with a monstrous howl.

Triangle Formation! Whiskers runs past low and to the left, Error runs past low and to the right, and Tail- er, I mean Eon flies over with propeller tails!
